Give me any random kpop idol from Bts Skz Txt Enhyphen Ateez Seventeen And I'll give you a random member picture submitted by /u/Jealous-Ad3237 [link] [comments]
For me, it's probably the sexy concept on boygroups, mainly because it feels as if they try too hard when they execute it purposely, if that makes sense - it's better when it's unintentional, imo. I'd love to see everyone's opinions! submitted by /u/ts88kd [link] [comments]
I just wanna appreciate the Kpop reddit community because it's way better here. I used to be only on twitter, however i decided to leave the plattform because its just not enjoyable anymore. Like it's way to toxic and the moment you say something positive about a group you imminently get hated on Reddit > Twitter submitted by /u/Injeolmie_04 [link] [comments]
Hi! Strange title, I know, but I've been into kpop for the past few years, and I accidentally deleted my playlist a couple of years ago, and I'm trying to get back into it, but there is one music video I can't seem to find, no matter how I search :(. All I can remember is that the video had a blue light tone, I think, and it was a singular girl artist singing with shorts and a tank top on, and it seems like the vibe was lesbian??? Like, I remember there being some scene? I think there was a bathtub/ or just water involved? And there might have been the word 'body' in the song title. I'm not sure if this is enough information, but any help would be greatly appreciated <3 submitted by /u/f-riluftsliv [link] [comments]

https://youtu.be/tD7f4W_as4Q This performance turned out to be one of the most infamous in Kim Wan Sunās career. Apparently kids and grownups alike were terrified by the dolls which appear in the video. Personally, I find it quite charming and sweet rather than scary but the comments have no mercy (lmao). Iāve seen a different video of someone dressing up as Kim with the dolls on a Halloween night in Seoulā¦Huge respect there submitted by /u/Which-Ad5279 [link] [comments]
When the OP (at ITZY's fansign last week) told Ryujin she has 19 piercings now, Ryujin immediately asked if something had happened or if she was going through a hard time. The OP asked why she thought that and Ryujin told her that when she debuted, she was so stressed so she got many ear piercings. Itzy had many struggles with their debut despite being from one of the biggest companies. I get that idols from smaller companies work very, very hard to get their success, and I reallyyyy respect that, but people shouldn't just dismiss idols' work from the big 3/4 by saying they get 'privilege' when they also work hard in such a toxic environment to become top trainees too. Of course, there is nepotism and favouritism and my view on that is very different from my perspective of trainees actually working their way up. This kind of competition is hard and the critisism is harder; it's crazy that kids are put through this system because they want to blindly follow their dreams. Honestly, I think the determination is impressive but also kind of reckless? Especially considering debuts aren't even guarenteed. submitted by /u/Gold_Meaning3688 [link] [comments]
They put some sort of crack or something in this movie's soundtrack LOL? This song is such a banger. I can't help but imagine how fire this demon boy band concept would look in a real Kpop music video. I know similar things have been done before, but I don't really remember anyone doing it with this much detail. Like with the whole makeup and everything. Maybe they don't try it IRL for the risk of not looking as good as it does here. Anyways, I just thought this whole sequence was very cool and the fact that I went into this movie with super low expectations made it even better XD submitted by /u/beelzebub2099 [link] [comments]
I am Kpop fan since I was little child and the most co-ed groups I stanned was Kard and Troublemaker so I am really happy ADP debuted and also I was tunned into them since announcement. Now after debut I can say my thought about them. If you want to hear only commenting about co-ed dynamic and thoughts about the group, you can skip the part when i talk about members. First of I am not rapper expert and I dont understand the right technique etc so I just say what I like and what not as non-expert and if it's real or good rap, I have no idea. Ranking is best-worst (imo,no hate to worst place (maybe?)) I think Woochan is really nice performer, he out of all trully raps and has nice flow and for me he rap genuinely and best out of all members, i not had chance to see his dancing skills since theres no live perfomances or dance practice videos but so far I think he is also the most trained out of all as well and can dance well too, his SMTM and Trainee A past is there. Youngseo is the only singer in group and she has nice voice, I am curious if she will rap in future but for now I think her voice is too feminine and just sweet so rap wouldn't suit her maybe. She also shining a lot in this typical YG concept and i feel that she shining more than she would in illit, although shes the "princess" element in group and TBL so far promoting her as the most feminine/sweet/girly member. Bailey's dance skills can't be hated or called bad, she is insane and since childhood showed huge talent, I wish she would have bigger room to show it in choreo tho, also I think she was forced to make the choreo easier and more "swag lazy style" YG is known for (I read she helped with both songs choreos). About her rapping i not felt impressed in Famous and honestly i thought shes bad one but now in Wicked she had more lines and actual rapping imo so she showed more and I like it, I think out of all female members shes best rapper. Annie, honestly I was skeptical since shes chaebol but in clips by fans she so far seems very kind and not mean, about her skills i think she isnt strongest dancer but do quite average, nothing too bad (I am dancer myself), about rapping i think she nees to practice, it feels like talking in cool bad bitch way(?), really not like rapping and just talking, if thats rapping technique,im sorry to not know. Anyways so far i not see what shes bringing to group if not the rich vibes shes she is really rich:)), I hope she will have room to show her skills more (if she has any) and also improve in rapping or singing (although was announced theres only 1 singer) Tarzzan... boy stop throwing sticts under own wheels, stop the cosplaying shit,it arent you. He feels so fake, his whole persona feels like he plays person he isn't, I'm not black so cant say if his braids and whole playing 24/7 of being black is ca or comical or even approptiation, i just personally feel that hes fake and it isnt him. About rapping, he is similar to Annie, i feel like he brings nothing to group although he is dancer too and i saw his predebut bits of video and he actually do well but I think contemporary dance is not what he will be able to show in groups concept. About group dynamic, its nice to see opposite genders to freely interact and even touching eo (arms, hugs etc, nothing sexual of course), they feels like friends since first public appearance and i not see any units in group. I hope they will be able to show their friendship and be free always, i want to know how they live, how manager daily life etc, the fact they are co ed brings something fresh and makes me interested how companies solve living/dorm/daily life more than I care about others groups. The whole concept bringing me magically tunned in, I feel like in 3rd gen again. I am curious about the future of 4 rappers 1 vocalist, how tbl will keeping it or add to rapper vocal song one day or opposite, Youngseo had small rap in Wicked but honestly it was so short and not felt like rap once again. Concept feels very boring to be honest, typical YG style of everything, TBL is not YG but still, many directors and high sat members us former YG workers so the concept is what it is, both Kard and TM had own concept which i hope ADP will have too, theres many possible storylines/concepts that can be done since they have 2 boys and 3 girls, unusual for kpop, door for concepts. i also feel they will be able to promote more and not end in up in basementš and most of all i hope tarzzan stop with cosplaying and show his nature self and i will have no problems to stan the whole group. submitted by /u/Wonkislay [link] [comments]
Iāve been a fan for a while, and I care a lot about Stray Kids and their growth. That said, I think itās also important to be honest as a fan ā not everything is perfect, and itās okay to have mixed feelings. I wanted to share some thoughts Iāve had recently, not to hate, but to reflect. The survival show felt a bit too dramatized. When I first watched the Mnet survival show, I couldnāt shake the feeling that some parts were over-edited or overly scripted. Obviously, most idol survival shows are made for drama, but some moments ā like the eliminations ā felt less like real decisions and more like acting. I still respect how hard the members worked, but the show itself didnāt always feel genuine to me. Recent comebacks donāt quite have the same spark. This is definitely subjective, but I havenāt connected with the last few comebacks the way I did with their earlier work. Stray Kidsā older tracks felt bold, unique, creative, and intentional ā even if they werenāt to everyoneās taste, many people could still appreciate the artistry behind them. Lately, their title tracks feel more like variations of a formula theyāve already used ā familiar sounds, similar structures, and writing that doesnāt feel as strong. At times, the songs even seem like less effort was put into them, as if theyāre playing it safe rather than pushing creative boundaries. Itās not that the songs are bad, but they lack the same sense of freshness and energy. Visual direction and styling have been a bit underwhelming. This might just be a taste thing, but their recent styling choices ā makeup, hair, MV concepts ā havenāt felt as strong or creative as before. Sometimes it feels a bit rushed or uninspired and under-budget compared to the unique and creative visuals they used to be known for. I know K-pop styling constantly evolves, but I do miss the more daring and put-together looks they had in past eras. Shipping culture feels forced. Iām not into shipping real people, but Iāve noticed that some pairings in the fandom (like Minsung or Hyunlix) get a lot of attention, even when the interactions donāt feel particularly close or unique. For example, Hyunjin seems much closer to Changbin, Han, Lee Know, or I.N. It just makes me wonder if fans are projecting dynamics that arenāt really there. Itās not a huge deal, just something Iāve found odd. Solo and unit songs show their real range. Honestly, this is where I feel the most hope. When I listen to solo songs or small unit projects, Iām reminded of how talented each member is individually. The creativity, vocal colors, and ideas feel more distinct. Itās a little frustrating that this doesnāt always shine through in the group releases ā and I do wonder if it's a company decision or just the pressure to maintain a certain image. Either way, I hope they get more room to explore different sounds as a group too. They might be overworked This oneās less of a criticism and more of a concern. Their schedule is packed ā tours, album releases, overseas promotions, fan events ā it never stops. I canāt help but wonder if thatās affecting the quality of the music and performances. Even the visuals and choreography feel less polished than before. Burnout is real, and I worry they arenāt getting enough space to rest and recharge creatively. The company might be playing it too safe. It feels like JYP found a working formula for Stray Kidsā success and now theyāre just repeating it without evolving. I miss the feeling of surprise and freshness they had before. I donāt want them to lose what makes them unique just to stay marketable. submitted by /u/Nervous-Bat-8227 [link] [comments]
I was watching a performance and the artist was shooting at the crowd with water guns and looked so visibly tired and irritated. Do you ever think about what might happen if they were ordered to attack? Does it bother you that you are paying to see a band live who could be practicing to attack you? Or do you somehow think that since you are their fan they would not do this? submitted by /u/sacramentalsmile [link] [comments]
I've gotten email advertisements from Live Nation for $40 tickets for Babymonster and Stayc. Seems like the shows aren't selling out the best so they're trying to sell some more seats with discounted tickets. In a time when kpop tickets are pretty expensive, these are better prices for the nosebleeds. Check it out if you're interested! submitted by /u/insidedarkness [link] [comments]

I found out about and fell in love with young posse and their insane talent/skills back in January, and 'cold' was sort of my first comeback of them (though cold is actually just a concept album). I personally prefer listening to the colder version of the song 'cold' just because I am not the biggest fan of 10 cm's voice but that's not really what I wanted to talk about. So I often rewatch the MV of cold and noticed that it only has like 1.2 million views despite the amazing (and super sad) story + high quality production and amazing acting from the members. You don't really get mv's like that from kpop bands anymore. It sort of reminded me alot of BTS's I NEED U and Run in terms of vibes and story telling- the only difference being that Cold is a completed story. I also find it interesting that they didn't choose the visual (Jiana) for Doeun's role and instead opted for Doeun (which I love cuz Doeun is my bias). I also find it HILARIOUS that the band members were GAGGING behind the scenes about the fact that Doeun was holding a man's hand. Sunhye was like "I actually can't believe it. I would have never thought I'd see Doeun holding a man's hand" (something along the lines) and Doeun was so DONE after the shooting was over haha. Personally I think this mv deserves many more views and much more attention- I just know that if it had been released by a more popular group- people would have hyped it up and preached about the deep meaning behind it etc. but since it's young posse it falls under the radar again. If you haven't watched it yet- DO SO, you won't regret it !! (The song Blue dot, which is on the same album also deserves some more recognition, it's the best kpop song that has been released in the past 10 years in my opinion.) submitted by /u/gt86xv [link] [comments]
