A Jimin fan is bragging about how they went to an orphanage, gave the kids pizza, and made them vote for Jimin in the VMAs as a thank-you gesture. Like⦠what in the dystopian charity cosplay is going on? This wasnāt even posted as a joke. They genuinely thought this was a heartwarming story. And before anyone says āAt least they fed them!ā ā yeah, feeding kids is great. But making that meal conditional on voting for your favorite pop star? Thatās not charity. Thatās manipulation. I love Jimin. Heās incredibly talented. But he doesnāt need orphans voting for him to get a Moon Person. Make it make sense. submitted by /u/Hemingrays [link] [comments]

Sorry, not sure if Iām allowed to post this here, but Iām looking for companies to audition to. Long story short, I performed a dance on stage as an assignment for 8th grade and it instantly brought me joy and somehow my social anxiety and shyness vanished into thin air. I canāt stop thinking about that moment, I just want to dance and perform. Iām not terrible at dancing, but without a coach Iām just average. Singingās the same. I can see thereās potential but Iām not sure if companies ālikeā inadequate auditions? Iām fully Chinese raised in America. I was thinking KQ or JYP, but still not sure. Any advice appreciated. submitted by /u/milkmello [link] [comments]

I'm not actually sure if I even used the right tag, I truly hope I did. I figured I'd try asking here rather than using the group's designated subreddit because this place quite obviously gets more visitors who might have more info. I was curious about B.A.P's future now that we're technically only waiting for Jongup to finish and we know that he's already been active with other members and their new projects so I suppose they'll resume group activities once he's back atleast once in a while. I'm aware that while most members are under the same agency now and they had a comeback together, Zelo is under a different agency as a soloist hence his name isn't included in the new group "rebranded" name (and at that time he was also in the military). Since I'm not on any other social media outside of YouTube and Reddit I don't regularly follow their possible interactions or hints or news unless someone posts about it, as the general internet is quite literally radio silence about them here on my end. So I wanted to ask anyone who might know more or has any idea if it's possible for them to make a project together one day despite Zelo being based somewhere else (also from his recent image I think it's pretty clear he doesn't care about being an idol much ā which is fine with me). My friend who has instagram sometimes sends me glimpses of his streams. Of course if anything it could just be a collaboration at this point if nothing stops them... But it's probably unlikely for Zelo to join the group that the other 4 members now have, or ...? submitted by /u/Future_Hunt [link] [comments]

i recently came across my kpop playlists from this time period. the first fact that kind of caught me off guard was how i had playslists for all genres and moods. like i had me COVERED. this was before kpop went so experimental, its so raw and different from what kpop is now. im not even saying that diversity dosen't exist in kpop now but the urge to explore that diversity willingly is just gone??? like i was listening to EVERYTHING KPOP. treasure, taeyon, ten, yena, whee in, only one of, cherry bullet. holy shit. now this could be arbitary too. like me growing up getting more mature more school work maybe. but kpop was my proper hobby. im so nostalgic that i cant ever go back to that phase. is it the same for everyone? has kpop became inaccsessible now? submitted by /u/baldwitch08 [link] [comments]
