I’ll go first. Twice ⬆️ - For being featured on kpop demon hunters and recently having a good set at Coachella. Also continuing to release 4th full album and next Japanese album. Just being ultra popular and also fairly active is more than can be said for the other ultra popular groups. Ive ➡️ - They’re still very popular, but I feel like some groups are catching up. Their new music isn’t as popular or award winning as their previous music. I do feel like Rei is continuing to gain fans though and Wonyoung/Yunjin are still very popular. Itzy ⬇️ - Their new music is having difficulty with popularity and also low album sales, but I’m hopeful the new kpopped show can help give them a push. Imaginary Friends was a good direction, but it didn’t get enough attention. Nmixx ⬆️ - Latest album sold well compared to other 4th gen leaders. Latest album is also the highest rated kpop album of 2025 on RateYourMusic. They released Ridin on street fighter woman which did well. Also recently Lily had the #1 TikTok post for Kpop Demon Hunters song Golden, which was mega trending. They seem good at getting collabs with artists as big or bigger than they are. Kiss of Life ⬇️ They’ve apologized like four times now, but I’m not sure it will ever be enough. Pulling out of Kcon recently was a big signal that issues remain. It’s a real shame because this group had a lot of potential. submitted by /u/Sad_Abbreviations326 [link] [comments]

I've really liked Badvillian ever since their debut song " Bad Villain " and was getting invested in them to see what they come up with next, but lately I've been really disappointed in what thebigplanet is doing with them. For a new group they are very neglected when it comes to giving them songs in my opinion. They have released very few songs within the span of a year and a half. And the whenever their songs do release and gain traction it dies super quick due to them barley promoting it. This group feels like they drop a song and then disappear. 2025 is almost over and no news ( to my knowledge ) about them having any combacks or even an album planned. I dont Really hear anything about them that's truly new to them as a group. It feels like they had this momentum that very quickly died out and TBP is having them sit in some kind of limbo. They are still new as a group, but I'm just worried that they are getting pushed to the side already when they just started !? submitted by /u/MochaMilku [link] [comments]

I have been seeing this song from 2015 go viral on TikTok and Instagram. I just want people to know more about the people behind the musice, especially Choiza, Dynamic Duo’s rapper. Choiza (33) was in a public relationship with f(x) member, Sulli, who was 19 at the time of their relationship going public. Throughout their course of their public relationship (2014-2017), Sulli was subjected to intense scrutiny and slut-shaming. Instead of doing anything in his power to protect this young girl, he fanned the flames by talking very candidly about their lives on interviews and basically bragging about getting with a top female idol. As a last straw, he wrote a song called “Eat, Do it, Sleep.” Feel free to look up the lyrics translations. This led to even more cyber bullying for Sulli, which persisted even after their breakup and continued till she self-exited in 2019. I’m not saying Sulli is an angel and Choiza is the devil. But a 14-year age gap is an extreme power imbalance and he at least needed to be more protective of her and keep their private lives private. He just seemed more interested in bragging about who he was with. It makes me so sad to think that Sulli isn’t here with us anymore while this man continues to make royalties off of his viral song. I think at least people should know about his history, the man behind this song. It’s up to you on what you do with this information. Maybe a lot of you already know but I’m an old kpop fan and don’t even listen to much of the new stuff anymore. I am not sure if new kpop fans know about this, so I decided to make a post. submitted by /u/AbaloneRemarkable643 [link] [comments]
