It's such a tired and obvious pattern. A controversy arises, some fans with critical thinking skills are upset about it normally and critisize what should be critisized. Then fans start blowing it way out of proportion, and all of a sudden you have fans playing a game of 'but- but my fave didn't do this so they shouldn't get critisized' and making weird ass remarks towards their imaginary competitor groups. Fans start creating fake rumours, these fake rumours spread because reading one single tiktok comment of someone saying something happened must be true so now let me do the same exact thing and continue the cycle... Ugh when will these fans ever... be normal about stuff? I'm not naming anything in particular because this has BEEN happening, but this recent controversy definitely showed what I'm talking about clearly. Because wdym there's tweets out there with over 50K likes... let me repeat... 50K LIKES of fans jokingly saying Taehyung is a creep because he was seen... hugging a woman consensually? Like get out of here with your fake ass because do these fans even hear themselves? Hypocritical mfs (sorry this genuinely pisses me of). Or other tweets saying the party looked like a Diddy party? Once again, are they not sensing the irony? Because that's such a disgusting statement. (please please please moderators this is not specifically about this recent event, this is about a broader topic that this event just once again showcased, who am I kidding this'll probably get deleted lol) submitted by /u/Due_Improvement_5699 [link] [comments]

BOYNEXTDOOR just made a comeback today with their mini album THE ACTION and I'm here to talk about it. The title track for this album is Hollywood Wood Actionand the album contains 5 other tracks: Live in Paris, "JAM!, *Bathroom, and As Time Goes By You can check out the album here: Spotify, Apple Music & YT Music. As usual, the members contributed a lot to the album and it is a really cohesive and fun album. I love how BND have managed to establish their sound and release songs that sound like THEM, while still trying out new things. For those who have listened to the album, what are your thoughts on it? Your favourite songs? Share all your thoughts here. For those who haven't, please check it out if you can đ Hoping that BND will have fun in their upcoming album promos and that this will be another successful comeback for themđ submitted by /u/ilovemeeeeee [link] [comments]
Omg, this is insane... BND mightâve just dropped a major hit. They legit established themselves as one of the biggest boy groups digitally right now. Hollywood Action debuted at #11 and now entered #6 on Melon Top 100⊠and all the Action EP tracks are charting in Melonâs Top 50. If I Say, I Love You was a major breakout hit for them, and Hollywood Action is also a bop, honestly deserves. Hollywood Action is peaking #1 on Melon 5min chart...THIS IS INSANE!! submitted by /u/IceMysterious3057 [link] [comments]

I've thought this since I first heard her OST Blue Flower for Alchemy Of Souls, but this OST that officially dropped a few hours confirms it for me. I've heard no other voice that almost brings me to tears with the words "One day I had a scary dream" lol (the song is quite sad in general but that one line cracks me up haha). Her voice may not be the most vocally skilled but DANG is it emotional. Please check out Blue Flower if you have not yet heard it, it's a masterpiece in general. I wish she got to show her potential of how emotional her vocals are more. I love Itzy's discography but what I hate is they don't have a single sad/extremely emotional song (nostalgic songs and imaginary friend don't count) to show off how well their vocals fit. I know Lia is a very bubbly and bright person so maybe she doesn't like sad songs as much, but if she had a solo debut with something like Number One Girl or Free or Fine I would genuinely go crazy. Her voice is such a gem. submitted by /u/Far-Squirrel5021 [link] [comments]
His Youtube page I have to say, this guy is very articulate and the way he speaks and presents things are always fun. If his company is smart, they would actually try to push him in Korean varieties where he will shine. He seems like a smart guy and funny too. His views are fun and he makes his videos enjoyable. So, try his videos! Support him and his group. submitted by /u/Many-Ad-9007 [link] [comments]

Hi ! I am a kpop stan but most importantly a doctor and a breast cancer survivor (my journey was an easy one compared to most, so no need to worry, i am doing just fine). I follow kpop news closely, so I am aware of the love you W Korea event that took place a few days ago. I just wanted to share my thoughts as someone both involved as a patient and as a doctor (I am not an oncologist, but a genetician so I work with cancer patients a lot). To summarise the situation to people who don't know the event (please correct if I misunderstood something), W Korea is a Charity that is supposed to raise money for breast cancer research. To do so they organise every year a gala where lots of idols and actors are invited (of the top of my mind, arspa, bts, skz, Ive, Yuri etc). It is supposed to raise money by selling seats, luxury brands paying to be seen there on idols and also donations. However it has come to light that basically no money is raised by the charity (something like 700k in 20 years, correct me if wrong) and that the event does not really even raise awareness on bc. This year, and for the first time i think, it has caused public outraged, both at the organization but also toward idols and companies (because of the overall atmosphere : everyone drinking, laughing dancing at an event that is supposed to talk about cancer, and also the lack of donations). My take is that I dont care about the idols being happy there, drinking and having fun. It's not there job to be cancer advocate, nor it is their place to talk about this : they are neither survivors nor experts. I dont give a f if someone who hasnt lived it talks about my disease, i would care for scientists, ex patients or families of patients if they were invited to express their vue of it. Idols pov on cancer has 0 interest to me. They are just idols. Them talking about it (on a private event, maybe I would care more if it was a public speech at a scientific summit or something more impactful) does nothing to actually help victims. The only thing it does is fuel fanwars ("my fav has talked about it and not yours" kind of things) and uses cancer to spread hate. It uses victims as a reason to bully people with no significant connexion to the disease. That doesn't help nor research not patients, and is actually disrespectful toward the victims and people work their ass off to cure people. My take is I wouldn't care if the event had mention of cancer in it (that's a gala, that's nlt the real goal to have important speechs, and frankly speaking at a gala is useless to scientists) if it actually serves it purpose : raise money for research. W Korea is a shame to the charity community. They are the ones who should get all the hate. They should make companies and luxury brands pay a lot more their seat and actually give the money to research. They should force people to donate a lot more. A galas goal is for celebrities to have fun, appear in it and donate in exchange (here it would be more the brands and companies, they have a lot more money, but idols donating would be great too, tho I find idols donating money often performative, but they sh0udlnt get hate for not doing so). To summarise => hate on w Korea, not idols, its not their job. The only thing that matter to the people involved is money, not having fun at a gala. I think I said all I have to say but I might add some things if I forgot them. My view of it isn't more important than the opinion of the next person, but I am indeed involved in cancer topics,by choice and by force, so the event, in some way, concerns me more that others. submitted by /u/Fine_Internal408 [link] [comments]
