So this txt comeback is highly inspired by their star seekers lore and there is a point in the story where they visit a fortune teller to find out their "true names" and their fortune going forward. So to tie into that, BH decided to include tarot cards as an album inclusion in some versions and now we have a site to get our star card of the day! I think this is such fun marketing because it's something fans can check every day until the comeback! What did you get? Did it resonate? submitted by /u/jujubadetrigo [link] [comments]
I recently came across Illit because of that Moka doll picture. But the more I watch them, the more I get drawn to Wonhee. I am a sucker for ladies with babylike cuteness even in real life. Just yesterday, I dreamed that I was pinching her cheeks. She is only 18 , so I think I might sound like a criminal like this but I wanna stan her. My other Kpop friends told me that they will never leave their little sisters with me Before this, I was very drawn to hanni too because she was also cute submitted by /u/bigplays1234 [link] [comments]
I do acknowledge that their music videos have generally been of really high quality and are genuinely impressive, but I've started to dislike them ever since they began incorporating AI technology into their MVs. Why do they use AI? 😭😭😭 Famous by Allday Project and Armageddon by Aespa are arguably some of the best works they've ever created, but at the same time, the use of AI in certain parts makes them feel really strange to me... submitted by /u/Nervous_Emu_2233 [link] [comments]

I’m getting tired of people acting like mocking idols and their fans is some kind of bold, necessary "truth-telling" in the community. It's just cruelty dressed up as taste. And it’s gotten especially loud lately. The hate toward BABYMONSTER during their Forever comeback has been a perfect example. You didn’t like the vocals? Cool. Thought the performance was underwhelming? Fine. But the second you start calling fans "YGE cultists" or saying they "have no standards" just because they liked a song... you’ve crossed a line. That’s just bitterness. There’s this growing behavior where people don’t just dislike things, they need other people to hate them too. And when they don’t get that validation, they turn on the fans. Suddenly, enjoying a song becomes "coping," and defending your favorite idol makes you “delusional.” It’s embarrassing. Not for the fans, but for the people saying it. You don’t look smart. You don’t sound cultured. You’re not holding the industry to higher standards. You’re just loud. Loud and weirdly obsessed with people who didn’t ask for your opinion in the first place. If your contribution to the fandom is built entirely on humiliation, mockery, and this imaginary sense of moral superiority because you “see through the hype,” you’re not the voice of reason. You’re just a bully with a Wi-Fi connection. And if the only thing you bring to this community is condescension disguised as critique, maybe you don’t love K-pop as much as you think. Maybe you just love looking down on people who do. submitted by /u/Seesawey [link] [comments]
I'm a blink and honestly I am at a breaking point and I've decided that I'm probably gonna resell my tickets. For those who don't know some videos with the girls rehearsing for their upcoming tour have been leaked and well... it seems that the girls will perform AT LEAST 4 solo songs each. Now I like the girls and I really enjoyed their solo albums but I'm not gonna pay 900 euros to see 40/50 minutes of solo performances (which btw for jennie will basically be her coachella stage perform from the videos and for Rosè the tracklist is the same of her PSY appearance last week so nothing new really). I'm here for the GROUP stages and new songs and considering that BP concerts are not more than 1 and half hour long what exactly I'm gonna see of them together? 30 minutes of old songs? I had already doubts when it was announced that only one new song would be released but this is the last straw for me. Btw the girls already had the opportunity to perform their solo albums in their recent fans meetings, solo concerts, Coachella, festival, gala so I don't get this choice because it's giving: 4 soloist concerts plus a couple of collab songs together. I'm DONE. submitted by /u/Alarmed-Location8681 [link] [comments]

I used to not like kpop myself due to posts i used to see or tweets i used to see by the kpop stans. All they used to do was spread toxicity, hate on any other idol or group they did not stan. It hasnt changed much till now, infact it is more rampant nowadays. Kpop fans show virtue signalling when the idol or group in question isnt their own. They also bash idols for doing something that their own faves did in the past. The hypocrisy is insane. Some group fandoms cant see other groups succeed and they always need to make it about themselves when a group succeeds. Ex: my group did it before blabla when the post in question didnt mention their group. If they dont like a groups music they always need to remind people how bad their music is while not understanding people have different taste. Also i hate when they use the word sibling dynamic whenever a female idol and male idol interact, like they cant see their own idol having interest in someone. I became a fan in 2023 when i first listened to new jeans and really liked kpop. In general i just dont pay attention to these posts nowadays but it always angers me when i see them hating on groups for no reason. Some fandoms moreso than some. I know not all kpop fans are like this but the part of fans that are like this are very vocal. Sorry for the vent i just wanted to talk about this and see if others think like me. submitted by /u/No-Fox-5755 [link] [comments]

This thought just randomly came to me and I can’t think of any. I myself am vegetarian so I would be interested to know of any idols that are! Do you guys know vegetarian or even vegan idols? If yes, do you know for what reason they decided to become vegetarian or vegan? I imagine with a lot of their food being provided by venue catering, this could be a bit challenging in Korea! submitted by /u/hotterthanyou69 [link] [comments]
