So I like kayseye songs, but I'm not really a huge fan of them. When they were first introduced I was actually slightly interested and felt like debut and touch were pretty decent songs for them to come out with. Their image at the time was pretty basic in my opinion where they were just giving off pretty prep girls to kind of give a more easily digestible concept. Now when gnarly came out I liked the concept theme and didn't really like the song for quite a bit of time ( I still think the lyrics are very trash but the overall sound is catchy ) but understood that they were giving off a more boss girl look to get away from their previous cute prep girl aesthetic. Now where my problem comes in is that the gnarly era is pretty much done in my opinion but it feels like the girls are taking the concept way too literally and are starting to act like typical LA mean girls. Even the fans are starting to act similar as well to the point where It pushed me off from interacting with eyekons and katseye content. Eventually if they're just going to keep this up as their type of image, at least for me it's going to get very tiring very quickly. We already deal with this attitude when it comes to influencers who live in LA or New York on a daily basis online, so having to deal with that more from them...I'd rather not. submitted by /u/MochaMilku [link] [comments]
For the past 9 years I've been into Kpop I have NEVER seen soooo much hate comments about idols singing voices, some are valid but some are just straight up hate, I know the fourth and fifth generation are not the strongest in it, but some o y'all just don't like the tone they are singing and that doesn't mean that they are bad at it, for exemple I don't like Ateez main vocalist singing tone, Im not going to say that he's a bad singer and he doesn't deserve to be the main vocal, cus their was a time that knows he's the best fit for the group ! im also a Beyonce fan and some people ( believe it or not) think she is a bad singer, yes, there'r people that think BEYONCE is a bad vocalist....But they just don't like her tone🤷🏻♀️ submitted by /u/Visual-Ad7631 [link] [comments]
Context: Sulli's brother made an insta post a few days ago 'honoring' his sister's memory, and in the same post he honored and praised Charlie Kirk. If you want to see the actual post you can either look it up or look in my post history as I've also posted it to another subreddit not far down. But since this situation genuinely enrages me so much I'm going to speak about it even more. Sulli was known for her outspoken feminism, it is exactly this that got her so much hate from Korean men, it was ONE of the reasons she took her life! And then this knobhead that is unfortunately related to her, decides to connect her to this raging misogynist of a man. I can't imagine straight up disrespecting your sister like this. I think in general it is crazy just HOW misogynistic some Korean men are, because why are they so torn up about an American podcaster that couldn't give two shits about their rights and is literally against them? Because they genuinely hate women that much that's why. They hate them so much that they will go and support a man that would be racist to their face if he could. It's unfortunately not just this man, idols like Siwon for example (though we've known his weird ass stances for a while now) also share these sentiments. I just can't imagine how many idols share these views about women behind closed doors. I can't say this enough I am so enraged with this pos, and the rage in which he seems to reply to some of the comments calling him out on it? Keep posting about your opinions idc, leave your deceased sister who is against everything you stand for out of it! submitted by /u/Due_Improvement_5699 [link] [comments]

The real issue is WHERE the money raised has went for the past 20 years. Charity events are socialite parties, it's been like this since forever. I'm not saying it's necessarily a good thing, but it brings in the money. How? It was the luxury brands sponsoring the celebs who attended that gave the event money. The celebs got nothing (except attention) by attending. Although, it's a charity event so in retrospect, I doubt they needed to get paid anyway The biggest issue for derranged fans is getting a chance to drag down the popular idols who attended because they finally have a gotcha moment lmao It's disrespectful? Maybe. I do think jay park's decision to sing that particular song was dumb as fuck and I also thought Karina doing a suggestive challenge at a breast cancer event was kinda icky, but why is this overshadowing the real issue? Also why were managers not allowed to oversee things 😭😭😭 wtf was going on in there 😭😭😭 The REAL problem is allegedly raising hundreds of thousands every year and then only giving around 35k a year. It's pathetic and would show how the event is just an excuse for high profile engagement. Just with a tax write off in the name of a charitable event and getting cancer sympathisers to think they're philanthropists. Unless people find out somehow what happened to all the money they've received with this event in the past 20 years, the event is going to be a source of hate for so many and that's terrible. I love crossover episodes. Especially ones with kpop idols and western celebrities. What are some of your favourite interactions? There's so many iconic ones! submitted by /u/0x1trinity [link] [comments]
I guess you could count Blah×3 and ringo as a horror concept in the mildest way possible, but that teaser for tunnel vision was so eerie and i loved it!!! Especially the elevator scene, that was a special kind of terrifying lol It's giving thriller movie? And reminded me of sweet home idk why Just hoping for another successful comeback 🩷 Please stick with this horror concept for the rest of promotions 😭 submitted by /u/Gold_Meaning3688 [link] [comments]
