Hi! Personally, I believe that if I watch an idol's video from, like, 10 years ago, it's kinda creepy bc they're 10 years younger than me. I can watch it in a cute way but not in the "wow he's so hot!" kinda way that I used to. If you're watching a sexy older video from years ago, of an idol who's currently around your age or older, like, how old can the video be before you feel weird? Like, if someone is 18, can they watch a sexy older video of their bias (who's now also legal) but when the bias was 15? If someone is 25, can they watch a sexy video from years ago of that idol from when the idol was 18? If someone is 30, can they watch a sexy video from years ago from when the idol was 20? Am I the only one who thinks about this lol? Where do you draw the line? submitted by /u/Flashy_Low7505 [link] [comments]
should I also include this video or is one enough? what should I improve for the this one the next time I rerecord this. tysm!! submitted by /u/Weird_Method8512 [link] [comments]

They sold-out both shows at the stadium! They started their careers busking in the Seoul streets and steadily grew their fan base & concert venues! Earlier this year, they had a 6-day finale concert for their Forever Young tour at KSPO Dome In the last year, they got a Perfect All-Kill for "HAPPY" for their Fourever album. They've really gained a lot of recognition post-military! It's great to see this success! They have a tour and new album, THE DECADE, coming out on September 5th!! Check it out :) and their anniversary is on September 7th! "We're goin' up, up, up It's our moment You know together we're glowin'" - Golden Naver article about the concert link *also, apologies if there's mistakes. I'm typing it out on my phone cause I wanted to celebrate their stadium concert before its too late! submitted by /u/purpletulip12 [link] [comments]

We always hear talk about K-pop borrowing from Western music, but here’s a Western artist giving tribute to Korean artists across genres and cultures. Love to see it. <3 PinkPantheress once mentioned in an NME interview that she cried herself to sleep because she couldn’t become a K-pop idol. And it’s pretty well known at this point that she’s drawn from K-pop before (link of a ton of samples she's done from K-pop here, I'm so here for the f(x) ones). But what’s cool is she’s rlly into the deep cuts fr — the iconic "oh~"'s in “Nice to Meet You (feat. Central Cee)” (starting 0:19) samples Zion.T & Hyukoh’s “Sleep Talk (잠꼬대)” from 2:57 – both legendary K-indie artists. You can also find it here on WhoSampled/). Kinda amazing to see her appreciation stretch beyond idols into the deeper cuts of Korean indie. As a Korean American fan, this felt like such a wild full-circle moment 💿💖 submitted by /u/lemongator [link] [comments]
If their songs don't have rap/none of them are rappers then you can exclude this category. Try not to be too aggressive with your opinions. This pic is unrelated but I just love it, it's Huening Kai of TXT. submitted by /u/DiMpLe_dolL003 [link] [comments]

Coming off of the numerous disparaging takes around here the past week about Stray Kids’ comeback, it really does get to a point where it’s becoming laughable. Quite a few groups experience this treatment and I guess it’s guaranteed with popularity and exposure. What I don’t understand is the need for some people to write paragraphs upon paragraphs criticising the songs of a group they don’t even like anymore. Of course, opinions are anyone’s right but it crosses a line when those opinions are intertwined with outright false and misleading claims. So far I’ve seen people shit on their vocals, say all their songs sound the same and claim they lack diversity judging from the very few but popular songs they’ve heard. How hard is it to not listen to a song or group you don’t like? Simply ignore their existence. Why is there a need to make a whole separate post detailing everything wrong with a song when a comment under an official post would do just fine? No amount of yapping about how bad their songs are is going to change anything because Skz clearly don’t give a fuck and neither do Stays because against popular belief, we are not being held at gunpoint to stream their songs. They’re not perfect and music is subjective and personally, I don’t always like every song in their albums but with the wide range of genres they explore within a single album, there’s always something to my taste and I simply listen to those songs. Maybe check out anything beyond their title tracks before speaking because you might find something you’ll actually like. submitted by /u/SomewhereOnEarth37 [link] [comments]
one time I can remember was when KATSEYE signed a pad (that was kinda weird imo but) and in the comments, some people were like “i thought they were innocent, why do they know what a period is!” and also people criticizing the Gabriela performance, saying “oh, that’s not appropriate for Yoonchae” when Yoonchae is almost an adult. submitted by /u/One_Bumblebee_6349 [link] [comments]

I have only been really into K-Pop for a little over a year, and I also like to listen to groups who aren’t necessarily that big. Cravity has been one of those groups, and I saw they were on Road to Kingdom last year and won, which would give the winning group a bit of a leg up. I’ve been fascinated by their new concept, love their comeback, and their KCON performance was a lot of fun to watch. For anyone who is fairly well versed in charts or know anything about their career, how would you say they’re doing as a whole, if we’re looking at pre-Road to Kingdom to now? Does it look like they’re doing pretty well? submitted by /u/32Wicky [link] [comments]
