Everything's fan-made with love, and I try to keep prices fair for fellow fans. Before jumping to conclusions, read the whole thing first. Annie did train like everybody else and worked hard, but she had an easier initial process. She is a fcking chaebol. The Chaebols run Korea. She is the granddaughter of the Chairman of Samsung and Shinshigae. So you can imagine how fcking loaded she is. And you can check how K-pop agencies, especially YG and Black Label, treat rich kids. She was taken at a shot, without thinking, was possibly given the best dorms and the best training, not like some idols who grew up in poverty, had no food to eat, struggled to some nugu company, got scammed, never got paid, and disbanded after 7 unsuccessful years. Now, people might argue that "her family said no" and all. But remember, these are nothing compared to starvation or even s*ic*de... She is hardworking and talented, but gets things in her fingers ever since she was born. submitted by /u/Ok_Bake_1021 [link] [comments]

Ruby was the final of the four blackpink solo projects to be released, and it was received very well by critics and the overall kpop community. It’s not a bad album, but after sitting with it for a while I really don’t think it’s anything special or particularly good. The lyrics are generic, the production feels like it’s trying to be artsy without saying much, her collaborations outshine her on every track…some of the songs are serious duds too. I don’t get the hype for with the IE, it’s so cringey to me. I think Ruby is getting way more praise than it deserves because Alter Ego and Rosie were both underwhelming. People had high expectations for Alter Ego, and it ended up being the worst solo project of the four. Rosie was just mid and got overshadowed by Apt, most people listened to it once when it came out and then forgot about it. Jisoo’s EP went under the radar, it was only four songs and well…it’s Jisoo, we all know she’s more focused on acting than singing. Ruby seems amazing in comparison, but the bar is just really low. It also helped that Alter Ego came out only the week before and was critically panned, and the pitchfork reviewer for Ruby had an axe to grind with Lisa stans for harassing him over his review of AE, which I definitely think contributed to Jennie’s high score. But if you take it out of that context, is Ruby really that strong of an album? I don’t think so. I think we’re glazing it just because the bar was significantly lowered by the time it came out. submitted by /u/etoilez [link] [comments]
Bighit debuting new boy group and how do you think about txt? For me txt just experimantal group that Bighit made Their debut song was only good song ever after that they didn't drew any attention They being 7 yrs old group but still not sound impactful. Their solo song is way better than group titles What do u think?they should take break from group and male solos songs I know some fans being emotional towards group?but for their betterment they should take break from group Some members should debut as actors submitted by /u/BullfrogVisual2832 [link] [comments]

I’ve always admired Krystal Jung (f(x)) for her quiet elegance and the way she carries herself. She’s not loud or attention-seeking, but she owns every room she walks into. Even during her public relationship with Kai, she never felt like “Kai’s girlfriend” she was just Krystal, doing her thing. She has this calm, unbothered aura. She’s stylish, composed, and seems very secure in herself. She doesn’t overshare, doesn’t chase validation, and you can tell her life never centered around men or being seen as desirable for them. That’s the energy I’m talking about decentering men. Any celebs (K-pop or Western) that give you the same vibe? submitted by /u/Business-Scheme532 [link] [comments]
