I've been listening to Kyungsoo's solo songs and Popcorn just gives me all the feels. The mv is also so so wholesome š submitted by /u/Chutneysandwich16 [link] [comments]

I checked out H2H's accounts and I noticed that Ye-on resembles Ryo from NCT WISH. Ye-on looks like Ryo with a long hair wig honestly. Ryo is also known for looking like Renjun. People have been saying that Sion from NCT WISH has a similar appearance to Jaehyun. A few SM idols/trainees have visuals that are reminiscent of Jaejoong in my opinion, namely Taeyong, Sungchan, and SMTR25's Kassho. When Kassho was in LASTART (the survival show that formed NCT WISH), I didn't think he reminded me of anyone but after SM introduced him as a SMTR25 member, he gives me Jaejoong, Taeyong, and Sungchan vibes. Giselle bears a striking similarity to Sunday from CSJH. When I watched CSJH's My Everything MV, I mistook Sunday for Giselle but the MV came out in 2006. More examples of SM idols looking like each other: - Woohyuk from H.O.T. and Eunhyuk from SuJu - Jonghyun from SHINee and Xiaojun from WayV - Donghae from SuJu and Jeno from NCT DREAM Out of all companies, SM idols/trainees are the hardest to tell apart because most of them look so similar and could be mistaken for being siblings. I think most of their idols don't have individual/unique beauty due to them looking so alike. I can't tell Aespa apart nowadays because they look similar in most photos. I don't know why SM is so obsessed with plastic surgery. submitted by /u/smigglecuddle [link] [comments]

I want to see album packaging that made you go "uhm what? No please" It can in terms of lack of inclusions/lazy design/bad design of opening/small or too big size, anything. Also reminder that this is no hate to songs included or group itself, all is about physical album packaging submitted by /u/Wonkislay [link] [comments]
Letās get one thing straight: I love K-pop. But also, I hate K-pop. Itās the toxic relationship I canāt quit, the emotional rollercoaster I paid for in blood, sweat, and overpriced merch. Letās dive into the chaos, shall we? First, letās talk about the audacity of line distribution. Why does my bias get two lines and a sneeze while another member gets the entire chorus, bridge, and ad-libs? Iām not saying I could stage a revolution over this, but if SM doesnāt start respecting their main rappers, I just might. Then thereās the ungodly comeback hours. Why is it that K-pop companies think 2 AM is the perfect time to drop a music video? Iāve got work, school, and a perfectly good sleep schedule to ruin for these people! And yet here I am, setting alarms and watching a premiere with my eyes barely open, acting like this is normal. Award show rigging is another level of disrespect. Who decided that my emotional stability should hinge on a random trophy handed out by committees who donāt even know what autotune is? And the fan voting? Itās basically unpaid labor. Meanwhile, my groupās out there doing legendary performances for participation ribbons. Speaking of disrespect, letās address unrealistic beauty standards. I know idols are supposed to look otherworldly, but do they have to remind me daily that my mortal face will never compare? My skin isnāt glass; itās frosted bathroom windows, and thatās fine. But can we normalize idols looking human once in a while? Donāt even get me started on overpriced merch madness. Iām expected to spend $50 on a single album, only to pull the one member I donāt collect and cry about it? The merch economy is predatory, and Iām tired of trading photocards like a stockbroker just to complete my Jungkook shrine. And oh, the scandals that arenāt scandals. āOh no, an idol breathed the same air as someone of the opposite sex!ā Suddenly, itās the apocalypse. Chill out, everyone. Theyāre human beings, not robotic celibate unicorns. Also, can we collectively stop acting like idols owe us their entire lives? Letās not forget the secondhand embarrassment. Every time I see a K-pop fan yelling āSTAN LOONAā at completely irrelevant events, I cringe so hard I almost dislocate my soul. Weāre all guilty of over-stanning, but letās keep it classy. Or at least⦠less chaotic. Finally, thereās the eternal suffering of a multistan. Why does every group decide to drop their comebacks within the same week? My wallet is empty, my playlists are overflowing, and my brain is out of space to store all the new lore, names, and fan chants. Yāall, Iām suffering out here. In conclusion, K-pop is the black hole of my life, and Iām spiraling deeper every day. But will I stop? Absolutely not. submitted by /u/kpoop_ [link] [comments]
