FOR context: I AM SO HAPPY THAT THEY ARE FINALLY DISCHARGED!! THEY ARE MY BIASES!! But after watching the live, I just thought to myself, wouldn't it be better if they did this later? Both of them look overstimulated -- especially Jungkook (who remained quiet for most of the live, staring off into space), and it was pretty obvious that they were quite flustered and just overall tired from the day's activities. After a day of waking up early to run, to then having to be transported for a WALL of press and people (who should have NOT been there, but alas), to then having to go back to the HYBE building to give a livestream (which was being monitored by staff)... I don't know, it seemed like a lot. They even said that they didn't entirely feel like celebrities anymore and that they had forgotten how to do everything. I understand that this is all part of the BTS post-enlistment 'tradition', but Jimin and Jungkook have had next to no online presence and have spent the past 18 months on the front lines, whereas the other members (minus Yoongi) have had pretty lenient phone usage and have been pretty connected to us during this entire time. So idk, maybe this is just me, but I just felt a bit sad after watching the live. I have personally never stanned anyone. When I was a teen I was into book fandoms on tumblr and the discourse largely surrounded fictional characters. I was more involved in fan theories and stuff. I like kpop but I only listen to the music. No performances, MVs etc. I like discussing kpop more than watching it (it takes less time). So I never managed to become emotionally attached to an idol group. Am I engaging with kpop wrong? I see fans engaging deeply with the idols. They go around defending their idols, hating on idols, having different discussions etc. I mostly focus on the music and concept of a group. Sometimes I won't even know the members of the group. I also really like discussing marketing strategies, zeitgeist, trends etc. I just find it hard to get attached to celebrity figures and people like that. submitted by /u/avrilsower [link] [comments]

This is ITZY's first studio choom performance from sneakers The song, being dance-pop, shines more with ITZY's performance Highlights 0:06 - intro Lia is just gorgeous 1:17 - Ryujin's Count 3 2 1 1:21, 1:54 - The slow-mo hand lock rotation 2:12 - The whole last chorus choreo. Lia's part is so perfect here. A lot of people wanted to see Lia's 2:17 move. But Studio Choom didn't show it. The chorus and the dance break are awesome too, but the highlights I mentioned were more memorable to me. I recommend watching the performance. Hello, is there some kind person out there from South Korea that is willing to receive my package? I’d really appreciate it. Recently I’ve ordered a game item code on Bunjang through proxy service ,,delivered“ but they denied to send me a picture of the item, instead they sent the item to their warehouse, which I originally didn’t agree to (misunderstanding in communication). The package is now on the way to their warehouse and there is no way for me to receive it (Iam from Germany).
