691. 💫 [COVER] aespa – “Dirty Work” | Dance Cover by NOW! from Taiwan

  • reddit.com language

Hi everyone! We’re NOW!, a dance crew from Taiwan. We wanted to share our cover of aespa’s amazing new song “Dirty Work”! ✨ We filmed this full cam in a very short time after the official dance video came out, so it was a fast-paced project. ✨ We also put a lot of effort into recreating the outfits to match the concept as closely as possible. Hope you enjoy it! Any feedback or love is truly appreciated 💜 Thank you for watching! submitted by /u/akane_ag [link] [comments]

692. I didnt know the movie was like this popular!?

  • reddit.com language

I haven’t watch it, so i dont even know why everyone likes it but it’s been all over my feed, and i just saw this today and was shocked by the popularity of the movie like even non kpop fans were talking about it. Do you guys think the show popularity/songs would die out quickly or do you think it would still be popular in the long run? submitted by /u/PrestigiousUse203 [link] [comments]

695. Who are your Top five 5th Gen groups? (Girl Group ver.)

  • 5 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Here are my top 5 (no specific order): • Hearts2Hearts - They could be one of the next big thing in KPOP. Not far from reality since they they have catchy songs that everyone love. Plus, I really admire the members. They are so cute and youthful. Remnant of the old KPOP vibes, especially SNSD. • KiiiKiii - Unique, refreshing and has the potential to be a top group in the future. Their songs are something I have never heard of on other groups. It's nice to see that Starship Ent. is experimenting on their concept and is actually doing a great job! • ILLIT - They have the most wins in music show as of now and I can see why. Nostalgic and cute concept with a touch of horror (in their marketing) is one my "OMG" moment in a good way. They also have a strong global branding which means they are on their way fast for KPOP INTERNATIONAL SLAYDOM! • QWER - Unlike any other girl groups, they are a band. Yes, they play real instruments. That's why they are one of my favorite since they debuted. They are currently shaking the KPOP Industry with their local chart dominance everytime they release an album. They also have an inspirational backstory on how are they built as a band. • UNIS - I had watched their survival show and since then, I stan them. They are really talented and has a bubblegum pop concept that really suit their age. It's really rare to see a group concept that is appropriate for their age. Plus, they are getting there! Still looking forward for that permanent contract though. But, while hoping, i'm enjoying them and will continue to stan them even if their contract ended. (I suddenly miss my IZ*ONE girlies) PS. i still stan most of the 5th gen girl groups but here are my top 5! What's yours? lemme know =)) submitted by /u/bossbaby_shushu [link] [comments]

697. I'm confused about the whole Asa thing

  • 5 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

So did she graduate high school? In the running man episode she said that she graduated from kindergarten which she cleared up here: https://preview.redd.it/r8lpv87r7kbf1.png?width=2449&format=png&auto=webp&s=b8bb7a816a69b830276df59b4537e422267c1e0b And everyones saying that means she only graduated elementary but isn't middle school legally required in both Japan and Korea? I thought she went to an online school like Chiquita and Pharita did. Ik Rora (sopa), Rami and Ahyeon (hanlim) all go to highschool so I think she was allowed to continue school. I saw this on another reddit post so i'm not entirely sure if it's true but apparently all the Treasure members went to college aswell apart from the Japanese members. In this post u/Asleep_Swing2979 said that "Her grandfather, Kazumasa Enami, was a Director-General of NHK Science and Technical Research Laboratories in Japan. Her father, Toshiaki Enami, is a director at Microsoft Innovation Hub. Her older sister, Lisa, is a successful fashion designer. I think it's safe to assume that her family can make reasonable choices concerning Asa's life 😂" Ik that Lisa was also part of a J-pop group and I think her other sister Chisa attended University of Adelaide since her and her friends were wearing Univeristy of Adelaide hoodies on her insta story. Anyway, what I'm trying to ask is did she graduate middle school and highschool? submitted by /u/AvocadoFun3905 [link] [comments]

698. Why lesserafim come over didn't got as big as other Bsides from the previous Albums?

  • 5 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Lesserafim always have b-sides on their albums that got as big as their title tracks like sour grape, Blue flame and eptb and some even got bigger than the title track like smart. Why come over didn't got as big as those songs? For me personally it's the best song on the EP as i prefer that song over hot and it's also the most unique song from kpop because i never heard a sound like that from other groups submitted by /u/Party-Confection417 [link] [comments]

699. i miss creative kpop greetings and what greeting would you come up with kpop groups?

  • 5 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

The title basically sums up how I feel. I saw this tiktok that showed a bunch of older kpop group greetings and how its not common in the 5th gen to have a greeting. Obviously there are some that still do it but it feels like its in the minority rather than the majority. Its obviously not a requirement but just something I miss and wished it still exists. It certain leaves a impression on you and when you got to kpop concerts, the fans also join in on the greeting so its a cute moment between the idols and fans. I know that it can be kind of corny when you get older or just something you'd not want to do anymore. For example, aespa totally dropped their greating "be my ae" and just greet normally. I remember watching the SM anniversary video with the different SM groups and you can see the shift from each generation and it was cool to see the greetings that they used to do. Some of my favorites are TWICE, MAMAMOO, BTOB just off the top of my head. What are some greetings you'd come up with and assign to the newer groups if you could suggest one? I've been getting into RIIZE and I feel like their "we riize" (and from their song memories) they do backstage before their performances was cute and could've been a greeting if they wanted to do that. submitted by /u/lipbalmsaveme [link] [comments]

702. underrated/nugu/small groups that would be a total HIT if they were part of the Big3

  • 5 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I'm talking about groups with good discography, amazing concepts, incredibly talented people and, basically, all the potential to be BIG My answer? Billlie, for sure. Not sure it counts since they're technically under sm(?... But seriously, they are one of the greatest groups out there. Their discography is one of the best, with barely no skips. The girls are very very talented, carismatic and all of them are insanely pretty (Haruna is, in my opinion, one of the prettiest girls in kpop). Also, their concept is the definition of AMAZING (it has a very developed storyline too) If you want to get into them, i recommend listening to their billage of perception ch2 album. submitted by /u/NeighborhoodTiny1431 [link] [comments]

705. Thoughts on this Jinkook interaction in BE interview?

  • 5 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I'm a new army, I was watching bts "BE-hind story" interview of Jin and jungkook, and I heard noticed Jungkook mistakenly called jin by "yeobo" and then corrected it to hyung after. I know a bit about the korean culture from kdramas and I know "yeobo" is a term used specifically by married couples. so my question is why jungkook called jin by that? is it common for korean male friends to playfully call each other by yeobo ? but jungkook didn't seem like he was joking, and Jin didn't laugh or react too, he just ignored it. I'm not a shipper or anything, I know bts bond is very strong and not like any other kpop group, but I just want to know if it's a normal thing in kpop or south Korea in general for male friends to be this affectionate call each other that? submitted by /u/Green-Raise2633 [link] [comments]

707. How good of a dancer is Emma side by side with Bailey?

  • 5 days ago schedule

Watched Emma as part of Want in SWF. Likewise, I heard about the accomplishments of Bailey as a member of Kinjaz, participant in WOD and a famous choreographer. Just thinking if skillwise they are at the same level or there are other metrics to measure whos who? Just want a non-biased opinion regarding this. submitted by /u/Prof3ssionalObserver [link] [comments]

709. Did the OT7 movement take effect for RIIZE

  • 5 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

So i was looking at RIIZE's spotify numbers for fly up and bad bag back and P1 harmony's duh and pretty boy, Both albums were released in May but P1 harmony seems to have more streams, despite having less monthly listeners than RIIZE. RIIZE had over 4M monthly listeners before this mess. So i started to wonder if RIIZE lost a huge number of its international fandom. RIIZE - 2.6M monthly listeners FLY UP - 6.8M Streams Bad bag back - 4.4 M streams (pre-released on YT) P1HARMONY - 1.4M monthly listeners DUH! - 5.8M streams Pretty boy - 8M streams Disclaimer: This is not meant to be a comparison, but its to show how much people are not interested in RIIZE's new music submitted by /u/WindowDirect7966 [link] [comments]
