With this song I fell in love with 2PM. I think if this song had existed with TikTok and the challenges, it would have been a huge hit by now. It has good views anyway. submitted by /u/Separate-Comedian-25 [link] [comments]

11. KPOP AVENGERS ?!. - MCU x KPOP.

  • 3 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

NO IT’S NOT ABOUT SUPERM OR ANY OTHER GROUP SPECIFICALLY “Nor its a competition between your fav idols!” Just a fun game where I give my avengers if they were from KPOP and why. So, here’s the list (and it’s an OPINION) ——————————————————-———— Captain America (Steve Rogers) → RM (BTS): principled leader who carries the team with heart. Iron Man (Tony Stark) → G-Dragon (BIGBANG): flashy genius and bold trendsetter with unmatched charisma. Thor → Taeyong (NCT): otherworldly presence and lightning energy on stage. Hulk (Bruce Banner) → Chanyeol (EXO): gentle giant with brains and brawn. Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff) → Jennie (BLACKPINK): mysterious, sharp, and effortlessly cool. Hawkeye (Clint Barton) → DK (SEVENTEEN): loyal, steady, precise and funny with a warm core. Spider-Man (Peter Parker) → Mark (NCT): witty, youthful, and do I need to say anything even? Black Panther (T’Challa) → San (ATEEZ): regal, royalty on stage, and powerful with quiet dignity. Doctor Strange → Taemin (SHINee): mystical, unpredictable, and hypnotic in artistry. Ant-Man (Scott Lang) → Jungkook (BTS): playful, lovable, silly with the right amount of seriousness. Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) → Hwasa (MAMAMOO): bold, fearless, and unapologetically powerful. Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff) → Rosé (BLACKPINK): emotional but strong witted, ethereal, and quietly unstoppable. Shang-Chi → Bang Chan (Stray Kids): humble leader with discipline and fighting spirit. Kate Bishop → Karina (aespa): sleek, ambitious, and confident beyond her years. Yelena Belova → Ryujin (ITZY): sarcastic, rebellious, and effortlessly cool. Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan) → Hanni (NewJeans): bubbly, bright, and full of youthful wonder. Falcon / New Captain America (Sam Wilson) → Hongjoong (ATEEZ): principled, outspoken, and driven by justice. Thanos → T.O.P (BIGBANG): towering presence with intimidating charisma, (come-on now). Ultron → Taecyeon (2PM): calm, calculating, and chillingly precise. Loki → Key (SHINee): mischievous trickster with sharp wit and hidden heart. Hela → CL (2NE1): fierce queen energy with dominance and elegance. Winter Soldier (Bucky Barnes) → Minho (SHINee): stoic, loyal, and quietly strong. Star-Lord (Peter Quill) → Jackson Wang (GOT7): adventurous, cocky, and irresistibly fun. Gamora → Lisa (BLACKPINK): fierce warrior with elegance and loyalty. Drax → Shownu (MONSTA X): straightforward powerhouse with unintentional humor. Rocket → Han (Stray Kids): sharp, witty, and small but mighty. Groot → Soobin (TXT): tall, gentle, and pure-hearted. Mantis → IU: soft, empathic, and emotionally grounding. Nebula → Yeji (ITZY): fiery, complex, and strong-willed with hidden vulnerability. ———————————————————— So, this is a funny thought came into my mind today, “What if Kpop made Avengers with the staple characters of the series?” Hence, this. Do share your list if you can. submitted by /u/Daddy1007a [link] [comments]

15. What are your thoughts on having a large number of producers/writers being involved in a track?

  • 4 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

In recent years of K-pop, we’ve seen more and more tracks being made with a large number of producers and writers involved. Nowadays, it’s common for a song to have six, seven, or eight composers, and in an extreme case, Illit’s Do the Dance had 18 credited contributors. Some might argue that having more people on a project can lead to a more refined track, while others may say it risks losing cohesiveness. What are your thoughts? Do you prefer the current trend of many producers collaborating on a song, or do you think fewer contributors make for a stronger result? submitted by /u/Organic-Cranberry955 [link] [comments]

16. BIGBANG - 'LOSER' + 'BAE BAE' + ‘뱅뱅뱅(BANG BANG BANG)' in 2015 MAMA

  • 4 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I was listening to Big Bang and remembered they were the ones who got me into K-pop. Actually, when Gangnam Style became popular, K-pop was very niche, and thanks to Psy, K-pop started to open up a bit more. I think it was because of Psy that I looked for K-pop songs that I like and that caught my attention, and they were Big Bang. I got into K-pop in 2015. I was never a VIP, but I adore Big Bang, and my biggest crushes were always TOP and GD. Every time I watch Big Bang's stage performances, I love how free TOP and GD are. If they did that today's idols, they'd surely get a lot of hate. Another thing I discovered was that, as an Inuyasha fan, I really loved the opening and ending songs, and BoA, who had done songs for Inuyasha, was a Korean idol. Orange Caramel was my first girl group that I liked. My favorite groups: Beast/Highlight, Infinite, Exid, BtoB, Exo, Got7, Monsta X, Mamamoo, Red Velvet, GFriend, NCT, Astro, A.C.E, Wanna One, Everglow, Ab6ix, X1. Then I love AoA, Sistar, 9Muses, WekiMeki, SNSD, T-Ara, miss A, Lovelyz, A-Pink, Kara, Twice, April, Loona, Iz*one, Aespa, IVE, 2PM, ONF, JBJ, Ateez, SF9, The Boyz, Winner, Oneus, NU'EST, SHINee, Victon, KNK, Super M, SVT... submitted by /u/Separate-Comedian-25 [link] [comments]

17. Majority of girl groups aren’t that good.

  • reddit.com language

I have been in and out of the Kpop fandom. I was a huge girl group fan in 2018-2020 and just recently got back into it this year. I have noticed a significant change in the way groups do things, which was to be expected. Im not trying to start gender wars or anything but it’s so obvious what you guys care about in boy groups and what you guys care about in girl groups. 1) ‘visuals’ is a must in girl groups always, I’m going name a list of things that people care about in girl groups. Looks, their weight, height, if they fit Korean beauty standards, and if they give off that ‘youthful and cute look’. To be honest girl groups songs aren’t great. They used to be, but now it’s just you guys care more about how they look and what outfits they wear than their actual job which is singing and dancing. Majority of Girl groups dances have become over simplistic especially paired with songs that don’t make any sense. It’s actually annoying and now people wonder and ask why some people only Stan boy groups. 2) The ‘concepts’ in girl groups are so lacking and it’s the same few concepts we have been using for decades. It’s the same ‘cute girl’ concept which I don’t have a problem with but it’s way too much almost every group does it, especially when you can tell some members would prefer to do other concepts. That ‘baddie/I’m a boss’ which again I don’t have a problem with, it’s not the concepts its just how every girl group that debuts doesn’t try to put their own twist on to it and people get annoyed when you can’t tell one group from another. Im not saying that there aren’t girl groups with other unique concepts but I’m just saying you guys will make the same boring concepts popular. Im surprised no one is tired of it yet. 3) the ‘music’ now this probably goes for boy groups as well but the same romance concept. Always singing about some ‘high school girl crush’ thats all pink and glittery. It pisses me off. Music is something you make your own not what other people want. Im not sure why but it’s not common for girls to groups to compose/write their own lyrics. (I said it is not common not saying girl groups don’t do it.) Theres plenty boy groups that i could name that write/compose their groups music. Im not going to sit here and say that boy group don’t sing about romance, or aren’t guilty of having bad songs or dances but as i say the concept/theme isn’t the problem it’s how it is presented. Im not also going to sit here and give boy groups all the love but i will say that boy groups tend (not saying that some boy groups aren’t ass) to have meaningful songs and great concepts and dances. it’s just girl group stans can’t even name five songs that they like from their ult group because all they care is about how they present themselves. If they’re attractive you guys don’t give a rats ass if the girl group can song or dance. But for boy groups regardless of looks if they cant sing or dance you guys mercilessly hate on the group. Im so tired of these divided expectations when we are all listening to the same genre of music. It’s ridiculous. This is just what i think anyway after being on both sides (of liking girl groups and boy groups.) submitted by /u/Top-Cod4129 [link] [comments]

Correct me if im wrong but to my knowledge flo is a lot harder to enter than melon top 100. So the fact that the song enter there first before melon top 100 is quite odd, But I'm not kcharts expert so i could be wrong. submitted by /u/Party-Confection417 [link] [comments]

22. Were Kpop positions ever a thing?

  • 5 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I know that things like Center and Leader were announced officially (like for Twice or IZ*ONE), but I can't seem to find any "definitive" sources that say whether someone is a dancer, visual, vocalist, etc. It seems like this is a more subjective category. Have these positions always been determined by fans? How do we determine that? Growing up I was sure that Jihyo was the main vocalist or that Momo was the main dancer, but finding anything official for most groups has been pretty hard. I just wanted to know because I wanted add a category to my kpop wordle game that used an idol's position as an identifier but not sure the best source to use. submitted by /u/Minute_Expression973 [link] [comments]
