875. Which 2nd gen classic: Miss A Hush or Girl's Day Something

  • 6 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

ok so i was listening to them back to back and i realized just how similar they were both very sensual songs with a minimal beat which puts focus on the amazing vocals enhancing the vocals and towards the end the beat fades and u just hear a line of sadness... also 4 members too frequently covered with clean simple smooth choreo anyways i was gonna make a poll but the app not working for me so comment down which one you prefer submitted by /u/Major-Specialist3658 [link] [comments]

877. Groups that behave/seem like "coworkers"

  • 6 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Recently I've been seeing a lot of people mention and discuss groups that feel like "coworkers" to them, a great example being IVE and NCT127. I think I am not the only one that genuinely could not care less if groups feel like coworkers or not. If they produce good music, what more is there to want? Like it or not, the K-pop industry sells personas first. It is no surprise that despite many group activities and variety shows etc that these groups are maintaining a "found family" persona without actually 'knowing' their groupmates. 85% of the groups we all like show us only what they want us, the audience, to see, so it's no surprise many groups are indeed coworkers first. What are your thoughts on this? For a group to be sucessful, does it or does it not matter? submitted by /u/kqtherines [link] [comments]

878. Relay dances are fun, but I'd rather have the focus always be on the member that sings THEIR line

  • 6 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

If the title doesn't make sense, I will preface my saying relay dances are one of my favourite formats for groups. In concept, they are perfect with one glaring weakness imo: the focus on the member doesn't always match who actually sings a specific line, and it drives me nuts as someone who is trying to remember who sings which parts for groups I don't follow as much. While I can understand it's cute for fans to see another member lip sync someone else's line for their 4 to 7 second focus at a time, it makes it hard for those unfamiliar with certain groups to remember who ACTUALLY sings which lines. I know there are lyric distribution videos out there, but I'm not sure if I'm the only one who feels relay dances are primed for taking on the "visual line distribution" role of helping you remember who sings what, but they don't actually do it consistently throughout and it can get confusing. Anyone else feel this way? I haven't really heard anyone talk about this pet peeve of mine, so I thought it was worth making a thread on this. submitted by /u/FanCaracal [link] [comments]

892. The most superior MC trios/duos in music shows

  • 6 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I’ll start — for me, it’s definitely Jinjido. They were just so natural together on Inkigayo and had such a genuine bond with each other in the show. I remember watching every inkigayo episode with them and each time they go it gets more entertaining, I really miss that era a lot. What makes it even more special is that even now, they still support each other — like often hyping up each other’s releases and projects. Most recently, Jisoo and Jinyoung even attended Doyoung’s concert together 🥹 It honestly means so much to me that they kept that bond even after their MC days. Who’s your favorite MC duo or trio that you think was truly iconic? submitted by /u/Legal_Potential4720 [link] [comments]
