Lets preface this by saying - stadium concerts are not start-all-end-all for idols and stadiums have their sets of drawbacks like crowd control, open air vulnerable to nature (rain, snow, heat) and poor acoustics. There is also difficulty in arranging venues for any concerts as there is always multiple acts doing concerts at the same time and Korea is also notorious for its lack of concert venues (sharing the venues with other events like sports etc). I am curious about one thing though - I know super popular acts in Korea like IU, BTS, BP, Seventeen, Big Bang/GD etc have done stadium concert in Korea. It is a given. Their streams are high in Korean charts, they have massive recognition in Korea and thus, it is easy for them to fill 20-40k venues in Korea. But I am interested as to why famous groups like Idle, IVE, AESPA, TWS, BND, TXT, basically groups who are famous in Korea and have great streaming numbers on Korean charts with RAKS/PAKS and such, are not doing a stadium concert? To be precise - why are their companies not doing one? Instead of KSPO dome with multiple dates - why one 1 stadium with bigger capacity because why not? Their audience in Korea is huge. Their presence in Korea is big and pretty sure they can fill those seats. I am wondering with company choices in venues in Korea for idols, especially idols who are doing supremely good in Korea. Again, in the end it does not need to be stadiums, but it is their home country and these groups are well-known in Korea to miss such opportunity. submitted by /u/Many-Ad-9007 [link] [comments]

This can be any band that’s not kpop. Who do you think would be the main/lead/sub vocalist, dancers, visuals, leaders… submitted by /u/redlipstick1010 [link] [comments]
I’ll go first, IVE’s An Yujin and Seventeen’s Mingyu i could definitely see doing acting in some capacity. Yujin’s already doing a bit but could see her in a rom com drama. submitted by /u/GodUsopp215 [link] [comments]

Please don't come at my but I feel like it's just a casual observation I've noticed, or maybe I'm wrong. But I stan 1verse, shinee, vixx, and xlov. All of the groups except xlov are pretty unhinged but from my experience at least the fans are pretty chill. Ken recently had an event at a hotel where he went to starlights rooms and brought them food which went perfectly fine. Xlov on the other hand, as much as I love them, some evols are pretty weird. I just see a lot of drama and speculation. Meanwhile the members seem pretty chill and are very intentional about how they present themselves. I'm wondering if the idols who speak and act more openly just have less rumors and speculation because there's more known about them and not as much demand for content. Where less social media presence and calculation makes a bigger demand and curiosity. I definitely don't think the less open groups should be any other way because people should know how to control themselves but it's just something I've noticed. submitted by /u/xlov_mother_muti [link] [comments]
Exactly as the title says, just please be patient with me making it im a uni student I'm busy most days. Rule: You can only choose one song you love and one you hate so in total you're giving me two songs. If theres more I'll randomly pick from them. submitted by /u/xunyomi [link] [comments]

With the release of H2H's mini album "FOCUS" I've been listening to them a lot more and I have to say that Ye-on has such a beautiful voice it took me by surprise. The Chase and Butterflies were both so mellow in my opinion that it was hard to differentiate and pick out any specific voice imo but Focus I feel did better to highlight the members vocals. One of those members in particular for me is Ye-on. She really did well and I look forward to hearing more songs from H2H and just wanted to share that. I hope you guys give FOCUS a listen submitted by /u/Nynasa [link] [comments]

Starting off, I'm not hear to discuss the legalities of CBX's case, that's not my place honestly. However, seeing the dumpster fire on every SNS site basically, it saddens me. Even if people say the cases differ, for me it's like going right back in time to 2009 when I see these comments. It's the same exact arguments of betrayal, greed, loyalty, etc, etc and it's just... I can't believe I have to see all of this happen once again, especially to a group that lasted more than a decade (even if stanning them was always stressful, EXO-Ls I pray for y'all, y'all have been through the ringer lol). I know EXO-Ls were never the most peaceful fandom, you got akgaes running amok, ot8/9/12 stans whatever duking it out in the comments, but at least for the group, it seemed like the fans could put their differences aside and be united in their support. Nowdays, it's a blame game with fans already taking black and white sides. Take it from me whose already been through this, even 15+ years after TVXQ's split Cassies are...well tbh we're still a high key mess. You've got fans being ot1/2/3/4/5 literally there's somehow new member beef combinations I still discover. It's hard for me to even call myself a Cassiopeia at this point because that fandom togetherness has long been forgotten except for the rare occasion (luckily I have my Cassie friends but genuinely, twitter scares me lol). But anyways, before it gets to that point, before you have to identify what fandom "sect" you are before you can get some concert freebies (because yes, that happens to Cassies/Babies/Coconuts 😂😭) I just wanted to give a few tips? advice? sanity checks to help 1. Everyone is right First off, this situation isn't black and white and everyone has their own thoughts on the matter, from the fans to the members. Acknowledge the fact that you may disagree with your fellow fans and you know what? That's ok. Just be logical about what happened, although I know that's asking a lot from kpop fans lol. CBX aren't greedy villains rubbing their hands at ruining the group and EXO-SM (ig that's what I'll call them for now lol) aren't ass kissing the higher ups to try and get a in. All of them had their reasons for making the decision that they did and that's alright. Even though I completely support JYJ's decision to sue, I also understand Homin's decision to stay behind. In the end, all of them protected the group in a way, Homin by keeping the name going and JYJ by ensuring SM has at least some structures (that they barely follow tbh but 💀) in place so that TVXQ and fellow groups are protected. It's the same thing with EXO. I know that in their hearts, whether you agree or disagree with their choice, they decided to do what they did for the betterment of the fans/group, whatever that means to them. Baekhyun even liked the picture of EXO's fanmeet announcement, clearly in the end they still care about each other and the group. At least to me, that's enough. 2. Don't let SM fuck y'all up Once again, even if you agree or disagree, there will 100% be media play by SM to gain better PR. Heck, I was already seeing it back in 2023 and I wanted to make an old hag lecturing post like this one lol but I thought things could get better (I wish 🥲). But anyways, don't let that media play and propaganda get in the way of loving EXO. The remaining members of EXO could potentially have more activities under SM, and of course, like clockwork, SM will naturally use it to say how CBX were soo wrong and EXO is doing just fine and they don't care about the people who left etc etc. But, like I mentioned, they probably had their own reasons for staying behind. I understand if people may or may not want to boycott this comeback because of what happened, it happened during TVXQs return during KYHD as well, but also, EXO-SM are humans too, not just a cog in SM's machine. Supporting them doesn't mean that you support every action SM has done. Of course, as the legal issues are still very much happening, people will have opinions and miss CBX. But in the end, when the dust settles, know that stanning both sides is an option, no matter how much SM says you're ethier one or the other. 3. Just be kind Literally, if y'all don't want to listen to the other points, at least listen to this. Cassies have had a decade worth of blame games for what happened in 2009 and onwards, even within the "designated" groups, and I don't want EXO-Ls to go through the same. If a miracle doesn't happen and CBX is permanently ousted from the group, that becomes a permanent fissure in the fanbase. Heck y'all already went through the ot12 vs ot9 stuff, but this is one is different because there's a decade worth of emotions and investments attached. Although honestly I could only wish to have that kind of time with a united TVXQ and fandom, ultimately the closest people can pierce you the deepest. No matter what divisions happen, know that all of you are equally people who used to support the same group. EXO are actual people, same as the users behind the screen. Heck I remember when the CBX lawsuit first broke, I was getting flashbacks to a tension filled TVXQ staring daggers at each other while doing thier last performances as five. But to my relief, the day after the CBX news, what did I see? All of EXO, arm in arm, happy, smiling. Clearly the members themselves were able to pull a miracle even TVXQ couldn't: they were able to stay friends. If all the members still care for each other, why are fans bashing one side or the other? Even if they agree or disagree on business matters, they still see each other as humans, as the kids that's grew up together under SM. That's the example fans should abide by, that no matter what "side" you want to be on, at the end of the day, your fave still cares for his members and would 100% be hurt/upset if you wish harm towards his friends. Honestly this entire thing probably sounded like an old southern grandma ranting and all of this is probably my unaddressed Cassie therapy needs talking lol, but still. EXOLs, don't make the same mistakes we did. You guys have a fandom that is more than a decade strong, a group that was, and still can be, on top of the kpop charts. I know things are difficult right now and I know emotions are high, but just stay united. If things are affecting your mental health, take a break. No matter what form they'll be in, and what form you do decide to support, EXO will be waiting for you at the other end. submitted by /u/l33d0ngw00k [link] [comments]
