So this is not hate towards the members, it’s more about their label’s direction towards their discography. Beginnings (Their heavy push towards Western market ) THE NAME CHAPTER: FREEFALL is a good album, but I personally felt Do It Like That wasn’t meant to be in the album. It’s probably because the song was meant to be a collab single, and Do It Like That really didn’t fit with the album. Blue Spring was the best ending for the album. 2024 (The under 3-minute trend) Minisode 3 was actually a good EP, so I didn’t have many complaints. Even though some of the songs were short, the EP itself felt complete The Star Chapter: Sanctuary(The worst take of under 3 min trend ) So when I first listened to Over the Moon’s preview, I was expecting a beautiful bridge, but the song ended up ending at the 2nd chorus, which felt like the song being cut off. The rest of their EP did have good B-sides, but I felt the songs being cut off, too, except Higher Than Heaven. I know songs being short doesn’t translate to incomplete, but having listened to their discography from the beginning, I could see that their discography is being heavily influenced by the trends, and it’s just hurting their listener base, even though they succeeded in increasing streaming numbers Love language (The Bounce Back) The song served everything the listeners wanted and this raised hopes for their next full-length album in July. Yoongi has donated 5 billion won to support treatment and independence for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder Building on these discussions, Suga and Professor Cheon co-developed the MIND program -- a group-based therapeutic model that integrates music into social communication training for children with ASD. The name MIND stands for Music, Interaction, Network, and Diversity, reflecting its core mission, which is to enhance sensory experience through music, foster social interaction, build relationships in group settings, and promote understanding of individual differences within a community. From March to June this year, Suga personally participated in weekend sessions with ASD patients to test and refine the MIND program. Why does it seem like Japanese men really despise K-pop? It seems to go way beyond just disliking it or having a preference for Jpop, cause more and more often I see literally insane and irrational hate comments on TikTok and Twitter from Japanese men. So, unless you've been completely offline, you probably heard about the scandal involving Ju Haknyeon from The Boyz. He was recently accused of sleeping with an AV actress. Haknyeon has denied the accusations, but then Dispatch stepped in and reported that he was allegedly seen spending the night at the AV actress's place and only left the next morning. What made things even messier is that Dispatch also claims one of The Boyz members said Haknyeon was bragging about it “to look cool.” That part really caught my attention. Now, I’m not here to say I believe this or that, I mean it's Dispatch, after all, and we all know how they operate. And ultimately, Haknyeon is the only one who knows what really happened. That being said, I find it really interesting that someone from the group allegedly spoke about it to Dispatch or someone close enough to leak it. If that’s true, it kind of implies there’s a serious lack of loyalty within the group, especially knowing the massive consequences idols face over personal scandals like this. So my question is: Who do you think among the members could’ve “betrayed” Haknyeon (if the claims are true)? I’m not saying this to throw hate or start drama, it’s a genuine question out of curiosity. I'm more interested in the group dynamics and how trust plays out behind the scenes in K-pop groups. Being a Blink right now is… complicated. I still love the girls, I always will, but I think it’s time we stop pretending like they have no responsibility in what’s been happening. It’s been almost three years with no group comeback, and now there’s a tour coming but no album just a single after all this time. And look, I get it, they’ve all grown so much individually, built solo careers, and that’s amazing to see but the truth is the group hasn’t been a priority for a long time. We’ve spent years blaming YG for every delay, every silence, every missed opportunity and honestly, that company is a mess, but atp these are grown women, with influence, with choices, they’ve had time, they’ve had space, the lack of group activity isn’t just YG anymore. Sometimes it feels like they love Blackpink in a nostalgic, emotional way, like a memory, like a sisterhood, and that’s beautiful, but being in a group is also a responsibility. So yeah… maybe it’s time to stop making excuses, to admit that part of this disappointment (part of this distance) is on them too. And that’s okay, this doesn’t mean I hate them, it means I care enough to want more.
