Hey folks! Over in r/kpop we just posted a new special Town Hall that is focused only on the Flairs we use to help organize our posts based on content categories. Link to r/kpop's 'All About Flairs' Town Hall We included announcements for new flairs here on r/kpoppers and also on r/kpophelp. The following is the section relevant for this subreddit. NEW FLAIRS! Connect - This flair will be used for anything where fans are trying to socially connect with each other. Announcing new K-Pop subreddits or Discords, looking for mutual fans on social media, wanting to meet up at a concert, seeking fans in a region to form a dance group, networking for a fan project, announcing a K-Pop night at a club, etc. Research - Academic surveys related to K-Pop or fandom topics. We'll keep an eye on these new flairs to see if they create any confusion or need adjustments. Let us know if you have any thoughts, concerns, or questions! submitted by /u/alleybetwixt [link] [comments]
With Ald1 about to debut and the end of B2P has now happened... I will actually say I am okay with the line up 5 out of my 8 picks made the debut lineup and I am pretty happy with it. That being said where is where my rant comes in. Some of you "vote" for "talent" but then you contradict yourself by voting against ACTUAL TALENT and yall justify it with "oh well they are too young or they are too old" or better yet yall have these weird parasocial relationship with "visuals" and vote for dozens.... which is it??? Also another part of this rant is the whole survival show concept in general I really think survival shows should start debuting 2-3 groups at once similar to the NCT brand. Since ppl keep saying "oh they are too young to debut a mature concept" fine then there needs to be a "young group" a "coming of age group" and a "mature group" so yall can stop voting actual talented people out because of that simple reason alone. Those people on that show are well aware of their own ages and are okay with it and they want to debut so you should as well. Mind you those "too young / too old to debut" trainees are more talented than some of the ppl yall vote for..... Another thing.... a lot of yall are lowkey borderline r@c!st and don't even know it... why in the world do yall think it's okay to say things like "they don't look ( insert ethnicity here ) enough" ... that's not okay to say and also shouldn't be a reason why you ARENT voting for someone... Also I will say... not actually looking into someone's talent based off of an EDITED show to make you vote a certain way needs to be studied... stop relying on edits and go watch the actual performances and clips of those invisible trainees yourself. Just because someone gets a lot of screen time doesn't make them good and yall justify this with "well they didn't get any screen time so I'm not voting for them" which is another contradiction because a lot of ppl who made it to the finals were some ppl who had little to no screen time they had yalls votes lol yall just pick and choose and contradict yourself constantly it's very frustrating. I've found so many talented ppl by just looking at their audition videos etc and if yall did the same it would actually HELP those ppl get visibility. Long story short alot of yall voting systems are ridiculous and need to be checked. Rant over. submitted by /u/No_Philosopher6682 [link] [comments]
Hey Kpoppers, I want to be completely honest with you from the start. Iām here to promote my best friend and artist, Slay. But more than promotion, I want to share our storyābecause itās one that means everything to me. Iāve known Slay for almost 20 years. We grew up side by side. Ever since elementary school, Iāve seen his love for music. I watched him write, sing, perform, and slowly grow into the incredible artist he is today. From his very first small-stage performances to his first TV debut, Iāve been there in the crowd, clapping the loudest, always his #1 fan. Some of you might remember him, he actually debuted back in 2017 under the name LOANN, but at the time he didnāt get much attention. After that, he shifted his focus to producing, and he quickly became a respected K-pop producer under the name LAS with multiple charting hits. But even while producing, I always knew his real dream never changed: he wanted to be a singer, a performer, and a true K-pop star. And Iāve heard his voiceāI know how powerful it is. I always encouraged him to take the leap into a solo career, because I truly believe that once people hear his voice, theyāll be captivated just like I was. Almost a year ago, we took a leap and started our own entertainment company together. Itās been a wild journey, and now weāve reached the moment weāve both dreamed of: Slayās first official solo release is finally here. For me, this isnāt just a song drop. Itās watching my childhood best friend step into the spotlight heās always deserved. Itās seeing a dream we both believed in for decades finally come true. I couldnāt be prouder, and I just wanted to share this moment with you all. If youāre reading this, I hope youāll send Slay some love and good energy as he takes this huge step. Heās not just my best friendāheās an artist with so much passion to give to the world. instagram: slay.las tiktok: slay9711 youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNo_bEtzick submitted by /u/Dismal-Trip1092 [link] [comments]
What do you think about Wendy's latest release now that you've had time to digest it? What are the standout tracks? How has your opinion changed since its release? What do you think about the sales numbers? How did the release stack up to your expectations? I thought it would be fun to have a two-week-later album discussion! However, I did not include information on the digital chart. I'm sorry, but I do not follow it closely enough to post. If you do, you're welcome to add it in the comments! Asked if heād want a U.S.-owned TikTok algorithm to suggest more content promoting his Make America Great Again movement, Trump said heād make it ā100% MAGAā Vance said the deal ensures that āAmerican investors will actually control the algorithmā under the new executive order, american investor group that will own tik tok will be pro-maga supporters like murdoch (owner of fox news) and others who are pro-Israeli. so will you continue to support your favs if they continue to promote on tik tok? submitted by /u/Serious-Wish4868 [link] [comments]

I hope this is okay to post here š I recently got into Kpop and itās basically all I listen to now. Unfortunately none of my irl friends are Kpop fans so I have no one to talk about the music with or go to concerts with. I really want people I can share memes/tik toks with, send song recs to and go to concerts with. Anyone have any suggestions on how to make friends with other Kpop fans? Iām a fan of both boy and girl groups and some of my biases are Hyunjin, Ni-Ki and Keeho (in case anyone is curious). Feel free to share any song recs and playlists. Thanks so much! submitted by /u/Hadesrex2 [link] [comments]
Correct me if im wrong. Oneus & Cravity are not considered as nugu groups. They did get some attention since they participated in survival shows few yrs ago. They got good songs & quite active but recently i didn't hear anything about them. The thing is why its hard for them to be recognized more by public? Does companies lack the efforts to promote them? Or is there any factors that contribute to this issue? submitted by /u/LazyProfile2945 [link] [comments]
The weather has been really gloomy these last few days. And I have realized that my playlist is way too upbeat for that š Please suggest any songs that y'all like to listen to in gloomy weather. submitted by /u/atulsui39 [link] [comments]

Since the month is over I wanted to do this. How it works: You can mention any song/ b-sides are allowed / ost are allowed/japanese releases are allowed/ if their isn't any mentions for solo artist because I know it might lack I'll just replace it with either the 2nd most mention song/an ost or a Japanese release. Example : gg song,bg song, solo artist song A Link to all September Songs If any confusion I'll answer šŗ š submitted by /u/winniecore [link] [comments]
As the title says; if you had the unlimited funds to create your own Kpop company what would you name it and what would be the rules? Also what would be the schedule for your idols and trainees? submitted by /u/jdpm1991 [link] [comments]
