*this may be trigger warning for some individuals - regarding sexual harassment* can we please talk about Soobin's fancall and how that "fan" made that man so uncomfortable with the sexual questions/content???? you could be a fan of any celebrity (doesn't have to be txt/kpop), but you need to realize that these celebrities are ACTUAL HUMAN BEINGS. they are their own person and they have their own thoughts and feelings. why do "fans" feel the need to act in a disgusting manner to these celebrities???? i have been a kpop fan for over 10 years and i have met/seen numerous fans.... some of y'all really need therapy 💀💀💀 this was a rant, but with TXT's tour coming up, please show soobin (and the other members, of course) a lot of love ❤️❤️❤️ submitted by /u/teeheexxxmy [link] [comments]

The seeds were randomized and I didn’t pick the matchups. The songs picked are amongst their most popular because they’re easy to recognize. So basically i prefer active groups, also for groups in fifth row i prob like the group/members itself more than the actual songs.. great example is LESSERAFIM, NMIXX. Also i really like CSR and i do listen to them quite often! My playlist is full of QWER, TripleS, IVE, SayMyName with some of the songs from other groups. submitted by /u/Samciia [link] [comments]

I love both groups but I'm curious, I know le sserafim has more followers but I kinda had the idea that Ive was more popular I was distant from kpop for a while so this is probably why I have the thought that Ive is more popular idk, either way, stan both groups bc those girls are fire and Ive is having a comeback very soon submitted by /u/Weary_Occasion1287 [link] [comments]

340. Putting K-pop groups in Camp Rock vs. Camp Star (for those who watched the movies).

  • 3 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Camp Rock and the sequel are two of my favorite DCOMs, and apparently a new one is coming out. I just had a thought about which K-pop groups would go to which camp. For example, groups like Seventeen, TXT, and Twice give Camp Rock vibes, while groups Ateez, Stray Kids, and Aespa belong at Camp Star to me. But that’s just me, what about y’all? submitted by /u/CeCeAlexus [link] [comments]

342. I like that K-pop fans say no to AI 👏🏻

  • 3 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I just saw some clips of Ab6ix's comeback, and it's horrible! I think I read somewhere that companies are probably testing how fans react to AI, and depending on how they react, they'll use it or not. I think it's already being used in music videos, but seeing the comments upset it gives me hope, haha. submitted by /u/Separate-Comedian-25 [link] [comments]

343. Are there any idols who have had no surgeries or procedures done at all?

  • 3 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Ik plastic surgery is very accessible in korea and is literally "gifted" by parents to their middle school kids because of how rampant lookism seems to be in the country (even people in corporate fields are rejected if theyre not "pretty enough"). So it should be no surprise that in an industry dedicated to beauty (even more than music which is just sad) it is no surprise that cosmetic surgeries and procedures are almost a base level requirement. Do you think there are any idols at all that havent had any work done? Just seems impossible to me and in my 14 years of being into kpop, idk if i have seen a single idol that i think is completely natural. submitted by /u/zylcasea [link] [comments]

345. 4th gen/5th gen Solos and Subunits you are waiting to happen??

  • 3 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Solos: - Yujin (IVE). She's my Ult, so I'll be there day 1 for her. - Ryujin (Itzy) - I have a dream of her releasing a rap mini album with Soyeon producing. Please Kpop Gods hear my prayers. - Chaewon (LSF) - Have listened to some of her covers and collabs, she's got one of my fav voices in the industry. - Yunjin (LSF) - I like the handful of songs she has released so far, so I'm curious what she will do next. - Aespa members. I've liked each of their solos so yeah gimme more. - Shuhua (I-dle) - She's the one member yet to have a solo release and I think it's been confirmed that it is happening right? She doesn't get many lines in their songs but I do like her voice a lot. - Lilly (Nmixx) - Can see her release an album down the line, like Rosé's, and be pretty good. Subunits: - Karina and Winter (Aespa) - Akin to Irene&Seulgi if this happens it will be pretty successful, I would wager. - Yunah and Minju (IllIt). I really liked that one performance of them together in the 'R U Next?' show. I feel like they could bring something really nice and different to the table. - Asa and Ruka (Baemon) - 'Woke up in Tokyo' is a banger and I hope to see more releases of Baemon's J line in the future. submitted by /u/Lfoboros [link] [comments]

346. What's the most korean kpop song that got viral among locals?

  • 3 days ago schedule

Most "kpop" songs that are very popular outside of kpop spaces are just songs in english by korean groups. What's the most kpop-like song with mostly korean lyrics that got so popular? Is it gangnam style? submitted by /u/Purple_Exit5906 [link] [comments]

348. Idol political view is not our problem

  • 3 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Lot's of fan try to force their political, moral values on K-pop idols, and tend to assume thing about their political view or ideology (I'm not a Enhypen Stan) but I see people saying Enhypen members are homophobic bc they don't part take in the ship culture. I don't care if idol are rcist, sexst or hom*phobic or anything as long as they don't show it publicly. There is a reason why idol don't talk about politics it's because, in this industry it's more profitable to not talk about it. Therefore if idols don't want to share this information let's be respectful and not assume anything. Also, international fan need to be more open minded and understand that those idol grew up in a different cultures who value different things, so ofc they might have value that conflict with your own but as I said anyway as a fan it's not our business. Idol job should only to do music and entertain. Same goes with their 'real personality' please let's understand that it's just entertainment, and again not assume anything about their real persona. This unhealthy obsession in the internet with people's morality or true personality is so toxic, because, now people are obsessed about finding a tiny mistake and make it so big, in order to be allowed to bully. I know in western country celebrities are more open about their political view but honestly I don't really think it's for moral reasons either, it's also for monetary purpose, because ever since being part of right wing party is more accepted and bring money we see more celebrity screaming out loud their support for this party, even though, it was seen as not moral in the past and still not very moral today. submitted by /u/zerolust_ [link] [comments]

350. Fans who say just ignore hate and stop bringing it up are just protecting themselves and the group’s image

  • 3 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

When a member gets hate and it’s brought up, a lot of times, fans will say to just ignore it and stop talking about it. Their excuse is that drawing attention to it will make haters happy and cause more hate. I think fans have a self serving and selfish reason to ignore the hate. They don’t want the fandom and group to look bad especially if the hate is from solo stans. They do not care about protecting the hated member at all. They only care about protecting the fandom and group image. submitted by /u/taejinkook28 [link] [comments]
