Firstly, Itzy are collborating with Spice girls (Wannabe × Wannabe hopefully) in apple tv's kpopped. Because of their appearance, I don't think the company would keep pushing the girls if they thought they would just leave. Although, it was filmed last year so that's probably not a valid point. I just love mentioning spice girls, okay??? 😭😭😭 Anyway,Yuna's having her acting debut early next year in tvn's new drama which means her contract with the company probably would extend longer for it? This combined with her endorsing several brand deals recently and becoming muses for some this year. Yeji also had her solo debut with 'Air' this year, which made me sure she's staying with the company because why debut solo in your last year of contract with a company you're going to leave 😭 also Yeji replying to fans on bubble asking her to promise Itzy will stay together for 7 more years (she promised) She also mentioned in Hyoyeon's variety show that she wants to stay in jype for a long time. Chaeryeong also said a while ago that she wants to be Itzy till she's old and wrinkly lmao There's also the fact Lia came back from hiatus after a whole year. She could have just left, but she came back and also improved her skills a lot. During Itzy's last tour (when Lia was on hiatus) the girls kept saying how they'd come back with her. Itzy also reportedly have another comeback later this year (though, I think it's a jp one which means not that much promotion) and another tour scheduled. I hope they continue as Itzy regardless of whether they all renew or not 💕 This is just me chucking my thoughts into one place |:) submitted by /u/Gold_Meaning3688 [link] [comments]

i'm saying this to a pov of someone who knew her since 2014 i think and i watched this kid grow into a whole lady with top tier potential in dancing. i think she has been making choreos to kpop grps and as predicted, she will be an idol - she's a korean decent afterall. i am so happy that she has gone to this path but there is also like some thoughts wherein, kpop will rob bailey's full potential in dance. if you have not yet watched videos of matt and prominent choreographers in USA where bailey is featured, go now so you can feel me lol. i just hoped she stayed as choreo, kpop won't showcase her full dance potential. submitted by /u/ggggbbybby7 [link] [comments]

It’s honestly kind of sad. Just a few months ago Seunghan and his girlfriend were trending everywhere. Millions of people were showing support and saying they’d stand by him in his solo career but now that he’s finally debuted as a solo artist almost no one seems to know about it. The views are low, there’s almost no supportive posts and if it keeps going like this his future could really be at risk. What’s even more upsetting is that all of this seems to be because of his relationship. I wonder if his girlfriend feels any guilt seeing how things have turned out. submitted by /u/ExcellentTree8990 [link] [comments]

Hyunjin has read over 40 books — and that’s just the ones we know about. He discovered them through recommendations, vlogs, or interviews. One of the first books he recommended shortly after his debut was Harmless Person to You. Harmless Person to You — a feminist story about women's issues, class struggles, and how male culture relates to women. Fire Salamander — a psychological book that explores the world from women's perspectives. To the Warm Horizon — about women's lives during an apocalypse and their challenges. In Dialogue With Nature — about the relationship between humans and nature. 날씨가 좋으면 찾아가겠어요 — a story about two lonely people finding comfort in each other. 언어의 온도 — "The Temperature of Language," a guide on choosing the right words when communicating with others. 사서함 110호 의 우편물 — about people aged 30 to 50. Pride & Prejudice — a novel about the importance of connecting with people through love and how love can change a person. Berlin Diary — told from the perspective of a russian aristocrat living in Germany during World War II, loyal to her homeland and the conspirators against **tler. Torrent — about rediscovering love and personal growth. The last book he read is The Vegetarian, which tells the story of a housewife named Yeonghye who decides to become a vegetarian. This decision shocks her family and society, symbolizing a rejection of social norms and a struggle against the violence women face. In fact, her choice to stop eating meat is a metaphor for refusing to conform to societal expectations, making Yeonghye an "inconvenient" woman for those around her — as a wife, mother, and daughter. The novel touches on feminist themes — how society controls women's bodies and minds. Yeonghye's choice serves as a metaphor for the fight against both physical and psychological violence that women experience worldwide. The Vegetarian also highlights how consumerist men can be towards women, even those closest to them. To them, women are just convenient objects: "He decided to dump his wife just like you throw away broken watches or household appliances." Hyunjin's favorite author is Han Kang, who has written many feminist books (like The Vegetarian) and is a Nobel Prize winner. Hyunjin has honored her several times and has read a lot of her works. The Han Kang team is grateful to Hyunjin for his love of her writing. Hyunjin really loves reading, although not many people know that. He reads a lot of books, especially those exploring themes of selfless love, personal growth, the lives of oppressed classes in society, human nature, and so on. submitted by /u/Wonderful-Ad7877 [link] [comments]
