Pretty common complaint about kpop concerts is that the concert is dead and everyone is just recording. People especially get mad about those in the front who don't react and just look at their screen. Well a lot of those vids get high engagement online. You can't get those HQ vids unless someone uses their complete focus to make those vids perfect. The Samsung Ultra phones are known to be the best phone camera for concerts, but their camera settings are highly manual. You absolutely need to constantly watch it to make sure it still looks good. submitted by /u/insidedarkness [link] [comments]
I was just learning about Chuu, so I visited her profile and found out she used to work at a sandwich shop but got fired for eating 10 cookies a day!!! It’s so funny! I even checked the source to see if it was true, and I still can’t tell if it was a joke or not. 🤣🤣🤣 submitted by /u/_berrystrawberry [link] [comments]

I was reflecting on how most my bias’s and svs contestant picks fit one of 3 categories with a bonus one Diva’s, Maknae’s and Vocalist’s (+ I also love distinct interesting unconventionally attractive visuals or distinctly good conventionally attractive visuals) (bonus bonus category if the person is also slightly unhinged) (I should clarify I only stan boy groups so these archetypes are reflective of my boy group preferences (I do listen to girl groups but I am a fruit so if imma fangirl it’ll be for guys)) Then I realised this reflects my ult group really well. The group in question is AHOF they have not one but 3 diva’s, a peak maknae, 2 excellent vocalists and all of them have distinct interesting pretty visual that complement each other. (and their all slightly unhinged!!!) So what are your archetype preferences and how are they reflected in your ults? submitted by /u/ARG_obesessed [link] [comments]
For me it’s JayB from Got7, because i like his leadership and he’s very talented. But YUGYEOM tho😩. I don’t know why. I miss him, i think submitted by /u/Kepler-888 [link] [comments]

I want to know if there any successful case against a foreign harassers online to an idol. I know if the harassers is korean the label can easily sue that person, but what if the harassers is from different countries? submitted by /u/Ok_Quiet_3080 [link] [comments]

People talk about them like they are the best thing since sliced bread 😭 They are very good and highly impressive for a debut EP and deserve praise but I think they a tad overrated imo. submitted by /u/SnooOranges829 [link] [comments]
And neither should you (if you don't want to). You don't have to watch every single thing your ult bias or group puts out. It doesn't mean you love them any less. submitted by /u/SnooOranges829 [link] [comments]
I saw some discussions online where fans were saying that domestic success doesn’t really matter anymore, and that making hits for international fans is the way to go for all groups. I have a lot of counterarguments to that take but I’ll save those for another time. No matter how much international fans might downplay domestic success, the truth is that idols themselves want to be successful in SK more than anything. That's their home base. You can see it in how emotional they get when they finally chart on Melon, even if it’s just breaking into the Top 100, or when they mention hearing their song in public for the first time. That kind of validation just hits differently. So yeah, global tours and streams are amazing but let's not pretend that idols don't care about how they perform at home in 2025. They absolutely do, maybe more than anyone else. submitted by /u/Carelessies [link] [comments]
As an introverted guy like him, I find it so endearing and funny watching him. submitted by /u/pototoykomaliit [link] [comments]
Wtf do I mean by this? Well, many K-Pop fans often ask why we can't and why doesn't K-Pop have any idols as vocally talented as the best in the west. Why is there no singer at Beyonce's level in a K-Pop group? Well I do agree we should always thrive and push for better vocals, did you ever stop and think about how freaking weird that above statement is? K-Pop and western/American music are two VERY different things. K-Pop does not demand or need the same level of vocals of a Beyonce. Imagine just how weird and out of place Beyonce would feel in 99% of K-Pop songs or just with a K-Pop group at all. Just like how a standard Kendrick Lamar rap verse, no matter how talented and awesome it is, would be super weird in most K-Pop songs. K-Pop simply does not need those levels of vocal ability and rapping, and that is ok. If you think this is me saying K-Pop is less than or not worth good skill, you are misunderstanding the point. A Karate student does not need to be able to do a submission hold at the same level as the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighter. Karate is not worse, they are just different things. Trust me, you do not need a Beyonce or a Kendrick Lamar in your K-Pop group. submitted by /u/SnooOranges829 [link] [comments]
