I just saw this comment and had to ask for others so I could process it better submitted by /u/VodkaAunt [link] [comments]
9K likes and 1 million views but stans on this sub will tell you that “it’s an isolated comment from one fan” and that “Twitter comments don’t matter” (as if Twitter isn’t a platform with TWICE the amount of users, with a lot more K-Pop fans on it and whose opinions hold the same weight as people here lol) submitted by /u/KyeodeurangiMerchant [link] [comments]
Just saw the thread about bp's new tour here n it got locked Sad to hear only 40% of the set is solo songs. That's less than half! Wth Who agrees the show should have be like 75% solo songs? I saw the setlist and two clips of the new tour where bp title tracks were being sung. They should be at least singing more b-sides and b-sides they never sang before. I'm sorry but not sorry but alot of bp title tracks are boring now. Having the set filled with title tracks feels like all their other tours with the same songs. Anyway I think the whole show should be mostly solo songs and songs from a new album Being they're under YG I doubt things will get modified submitted by /u/Crystalitefire [link] [comments]

I wanted to share a quiz I made on my channel. I have 0 Idea what tag to put it under! But i did a bunch of research and so if you got under an hour to kill and wanna test your general knowledge of all things Kpop, why not give my video a try! (I mainly post reaction videos, this is a special project) Thanks for reading! ❤️ submitted by /u/DdogPlaysGames [link] [comments]
So, it's official that TWICE and BLACKPINK will both drop new music next week, July 11th. I think this is interesting because their fans are kinda 'rivals' lol! There's lots of competition between blinks and onces. Fanwars will be inevitable but that's part of stan culture. However, as a BLINK, I'm going to be biased and say blackpink will def be performing better on the charts lol. It's gonna be interesting to see! Even tho Blackpink's entire song is already heard by most people, I still do think they will do better because the GP tunes in for bp and (respectively) blinks are a bigger fandom than onces. Anyways, what's everyone's opinion on this? What do you guys expect? submitted by /u/floraa5 [link] [comments]
So viviz held their concert "new legacy" on the fifth, Iam just a fan from across the globe that did not attend but have been binge watching any and all the clips I could find. i was going to wait till the album drop the talk about how much I love these girls but oh my god they never, never fail to blow my mind away with anything and everything they do. Imagine they were on a very hectic tour last year about two months of concerts back to back with only one or two days in between, then they had a comeback and promotions. Then they cameback as gfriend and toured again. Now they have a full album and another tour in line. In less than a year. the members have also visibly improved in their vocals and dance skills. They take part in the music and creative process as well. I'm just so proud of these girls, they never stop giving their best and it really shows. I mean look at the choreography for "cliche" (https://youtu.be/5kc6k_5ztSg?si=h4DPeF2piFVjAEMP). Not to mention literally the besides of all their albums have title track potential. They don't cut coners and it shows. (They kinda give huntrix vibes now that I think about it lol) they probably performed like twenty songs and three solo stages, their first solo songs that show they've really grown into such refined performers. This is their new legacy 10 years in and still killing it. Genuinely jealous of seungkwan for being a successful fan lmao. they also performed the new title track "la la love me" which I think is an absolute banger of a summer song. Or course now I'm just blabbering, I hope they receive a lot of love for their comeback and tour as they definitely deserve it. Just a very proud na.v. submitted by /u/seokjinseyebrows [link] [comments]
I go to voice class every week on Mondays (no, unfortunately, I still cannot sing IU's Good Day high note), and every time I go, there's always Kpop music playing in the lobby; Twice, BTS, Blackpink, Day6, etc. There was always the same receptionist, too, but only after I came in once for a make-up lesson and there was no Kpop, or the receptionist from Mondays did I realize that the receptionist was the one playing Kpop. Now, I never hear Kpop music being played in public, so every week I always looked forward to hearing what Kpop song would play next! It's a simple pleasure, but hearing Kpop being played in public just makes me feel so happy and validated- I've been judged multiple times before for liking Kpop, unfortunately. I'm a little shy, so I finally worked up the courage this week to ask the receptionist if she was a Kpop fan. And she was! We chatted for a little bit about our favorite Kpop groups (I'm a Reveluv and she's an Army) and also about how inevitably expensive those BTS concert tickets were going to be (😭). It was such a great experience! We even traded song recommendations, so now I have some BTS music to go listen to. I feel like Kpop stans online are always fighting over something or other but in real life, it's always really nice to meet another Kpop fan and chat without fear of being judged for your music taste. And now I'm excited to go enjoy some more Kpop music next week! submitted by /u/ful_joy [link] [comments]
BLACKPINK kicked off their DEADLINE tour last night in Korea. Out of the 25 total songs in the setlist, 10 were solo stages, and 14 were songs already included during their previous Born Pink tour. The only new group song in the entire set was their latest comeback track. Maybe Blinks won’t mind how the show is structured, but I personally think it’s kind of ridiculous that such a large portion of the concert was made up of solo stages (especially when the group is making their return after three years). And who knows when the next comeback will even happen after this tour wraps? Couldn’t they have just limited it to one, maybe two solo performances per member and filled the rest with other BP songs? As I’m writing this, I can’t help but wonder if they just didn’t have the time to prep & rehearse additional group performances, so they leaned into solo stages they were already comfortable with. As someone who dislikes lots of covers and solo stages for group concerts, I think this is way too much. What are your thoughts? Do you think it’s too much? Or is it justified? Below is the setlist for the DEADLINE concert: Kill This Love Pink Venom How You Like That Playing With Fire Shut Down Earthquake (Jisoo solo) Your Love (Jisoo solo) New Woman (Lisa solo) Rockstar (Lisa solo) Pretty Savage Don't Know What To Do Whistle STAY Lovesick Girls Ruby (Jennie solo) with the IE (way up) (Jennie solo) like JENNIE (Jennie solo) 3am (Rose solo) toxic till the end (Rose solo) APT (Rose solo) Jump (new song) Boombayah DDU-DU DDU-DU As If It's Your Last Forever Young submitted by /u/Acrobatic_Prize_7749 [link] [comments]
Tell me which group got you into kpop and I will tell you my favorite song by that group! Others can answer too! submitted by /u/Suitable-Stay-6696 [link] [comments]
Idk why but i was just listening to LOOK AT ME by twice and could imagine it being a good mosh pit song. Like i could imagine people jumping and pushing each other around and getting rowdy to this song. It sucks that kpop concerts don't really do mosh pits the same way rap and rock concerts do. But there's gotta be other kpop songs that have moshpit type energy lmao. LOOK AT ME is just the first one i noticed submitted by /u/Mynameisbrk [link] [comments]
For me it is Hoshi from Seventeen and Joohoney from MonstaX. Their mannerisms, humour and everything is so similar. But obviously each of them have their own individual charms submitted by /u/Vital_Lamp [link] [comments]
And BTS will always be that group. submitted by /u/Mobile-Structure5702 [link] [comments]
