I haven’t followed the news very closely but I have heard that they were refusing to continue working under hybe. And in response ador filed a lawsuit against the group. But some people were saying that this proves they are some of the most spoiled and privileged idols or something like that. I was hoping someone could explain context as to the timeline and context of this series of events. They really have no limits when it comes to what they’ll say or do just to get their way. Meanwhile, idols are getting kicked out of their groups or forced into hiatuses for something as small as looking at someone the wrong way when they were 12. Yet here we have an entire group and their CEO bullying multiple active groups and facing zero consequences. And yes, this post will probably get deleted, because unless it’s BTS or Blackpink, you’re apparently not allowed to say anything negative about any other group. Even when they’re literal bullies. I just finished watching Aespa’s lost media. I am confused as to why Giselle’s Solo Album “Pookie” was not released. There were about 6-7 songs in that album and only dopamine was released. A lot of footage that was deleted as well were clips of Giselle Mainly. I don’t know why I find this category eerie but can anyone explain about her solo album not being released? I was thinking about The group and The twins. Another day, they released more Japanese EPS than Korean EPs. I know The twins were child actors before who appeared mostly in advertisements, modelling, and as extras in TV shows. They probably got discovered by The Starship company and only trained for two months before debuting. Donghyun starred in a variety show Conduct Zero in 2006 who was The oldest. Not sure of The other members I know The leader wasn’t called up for conscription service because of his vision in one of his eyes. I just wanted to make this post because I thought it would be cool to just shed some light as to what it's like to be connected to an idol, or at least closely associated with their inner circle. My family was very closely associated to the family of an idol because my sibling almost got married to their sibling. It's a long story. Of course, out of respect for this idol and their family, I will not be naming the group or the company, but they're under a company that a lot of people in here know! Another reason why I don't feel comfortable sharing too much is because I decided to check their wiki page and some of the information that I know about their family has not yet been made public. Basically, I knew this idol through their older sibling, who was studying abroad in the United States and who lived with us from time to time since they were engaged to my sibling. I'd often hear updates/receive photos about this idol training in Korea, their private English lessons, their time out with friends, and I followed all of this idol's family's private Instagram accounts as well. This idol's mother often sent us gifts, and she got me a lot of limited edition merchandise (they were very wealthy) from some of the bigger groups in Korea since she knew I was studying the language (and the two of us had mutual love for BTS, this idol's mother often posting the Jimin poster she had next to her bed, lmao). We remained in contact, and all of us were anticipating this idol's debut. When they debuted, I remember their older sibling was constantly glued to their phone, scrolling through all of the comments people were making about their younger sibling. They even told me that they kind of hated the fact that people were using their sibling's face as a profile picture, but at the same time, it was super cute seeing how overprotective they were of this idol. But all of us personally congratulated this idol and watched all of their content, and the idol's older sibling just gawked at the press tours and they often did typical sibling stuff, laughing and joking about the things they said on the TV. I have to say that this idol's persona on TV is a lot more cute, but they still have that down to earth charm that all of us loved. Of course, after my sibling and their sibling broke off the engagement, things became a little more distant, but I still follow this idol's entire family on Instagram and I often see private updates on them, and we still exchange messages from time to time to let them know we're cheering them on. submitted by /u/Lost-Opinion3554 [link] [comments]
