Hi everyone! I’m a K-pop fan and developer who built a small Chrome extension called K-Pop Romanizer. I wanted to share it here in case any of you find it helpful (I know self-promo is limited, so I appreciate your time). What it does • Converts Korean lyrics / sentences into English-style romanization so you can sing along more easily • New: TTS (Text-to-Speech) support — listen to the Korean text with pronunciation • Pop-up UI, right-click “Romanize Korean” option, drag-to-highlight → romanize feature • Works locally in your browser — no data is collected or shared • Usable on any webpage through Chrome, so you can romanize Korean text wherever you browse Why I made it / use case As fans, many of us struggle with Korean pronunciation when singing along. This tool bridges that gap. Whether you’re learning Korean, practicing pronunciation, or just want to sing your favorite songs more accurately, this might help. How to try it You can install it from the Chrome Web Store here: K-Pop Romanizer — [Chrome Web Store link] (Screenshots & demo are in the store page.) If anyone wants feedback, suggestions, or finds a bug, I’d love to hear from you! 💬 Thanks for checking it out. submitted by /u/Express-Culture835 [link] [comments]

Dramatic title, sorry. But I’ve been on internet since age 11 and I’m only 23, but I really don’t fit in anymore lmaooo Nothing shameful about teenagers being fans of kpop, I’ll defend them against ignorant outsiders anytime but 💔 I will add, I do have my own circle of friends now, but I still want to get fast time updates on my favs so that’s why I’m still there. Also fyp and algorithms make it hard to escape. It just makes me laugh (not really) that I can spot immature tones, drags, logic so easily. I can feel they think they are too cool for kpop and that they are smarter than everyone else. Was I annoying like that too? I don’t know but at least I didn’t call people above age 18 hags. Because teenagers have more time and they have such big influence in kpop, that what irks me the most about these individuals. It made me realize that most smart 20+ years old escape fandom spaces and leave us alone lmao. Good for them submitted by /u/mycatyeonjun [link] [comments]
It's divided into four categories: Looks like a cinnamon roll, could kill you (Person A) Looks like they could kill you, is a cinnamon roll (Person B) Looks like a cinnamon roll, is a cinnamon roll (Person C) Looks like they could kill you, could kill you (Person D) Is a sinamon roll (Person E) submitted by /u/Sea-Republic8892 [link] [comments]
Soyeon's raps (especially the korean ones) are personally SO satisfying to listen to. Something about her kinda nasal ringing tone combined with the way she enunciates her raps such scratches my brain in the best way possible. Even in the songs like 'Whats in Your House' or 'Im the Trend' her raps just DON'T seem force into the tracks at all. 'Whats in your house' might be the only cutesy song with a rap that is OPPOSITE to the vibe of the song but still fits so well (it's genuinely one of my favourite raps). (Please don't jump me for this) Okay so i love me some Blackpink and Twice, but in songs like 'As If It's your Last' or 'I can't stop me', it might be a personal preference but I don't like the rap parts in these songs. For some reason it just seems TO ME that the rap is forced into the track. Again, I love their raps in Likey, Pink Venom, etc, so it's just about specific tracks, but so far any of Soyeon's raps that I've listened to, it just somehow fits regardless of the song. Alr so I have seen people saying that her flow is unoriginal and stuff but does it really matter?? I assume that her production skills that help with the 'sitting' of raps in the songs. submitted by /u/Commercial-Many-1407 [link] [comments]
