769. ITZY is still successful, but I can’t help but miss the widespread hype they had in their early years.

I’ve been a MIDZY since debut, and I’m so proud of everything the girls have achieved over the years. They’ve already made history and earned their place as one of the biggest groups in K-pop. Their talent is undeniable, and their fanbase remains strong. But I miss the time when ITZY was everywhere—charting high, trending non-stop, and constantly attracting new fans. I miss the days when the girls were truly loved by the general public. Don’t get me wrong—I still believe they’re releasing good music (I love their recent comeback), and I’ll continue to support them. However, I just can’t shake the frustration that no matter how solid their comeback is or how bold the concept may be, they just can’t seem to regain the same level of widespread appeal they had in 2019–2021. As a MIDZY, I only wish for their continued success, and I hope they achieve the kind of longevity their senior group, TWICE, has enjoyed. 🥹 submitted by /u/why_dmn [link] [comments]

774. HUGE Shout to J-hope for the best 2025 Festa we could’ve had!

I was privileged enough to see Hope on the Stage in LA, so I knew Hobi could put on a killer show. But he really went all out for Festa. We got “I Wonder” and “Seven” with JK. We also got “Spring Day” with Jin and “Don’t Say You Love Me.” We FINALLY got a live performance of “Jamais Vu” with Jin, J-hope, and JK!! We also got the premiere of “Killin’ it Girl” before the concert, and a live debut. Hobi killed it with the choreo, he’s so charming and talented!! His ments were very sweet and heartwarming. He thanked his members in the audience and ARMY. Overall, the perfect night for me. I really don’t think we could’ve asked for more as a fandom. Always grateful to BTS for the love and care they put into their craft. 💜 Hobi mentioned that he woke up with a swollen throat, yet you really couldn’t tell thru the entirety of the show. He gave it his all, like always, and put on amazing performances time and time again!! The concert was a little under three hours long, but it really flew by for me. He’s such an ace, and I will always sing his praises! Happy Festa to any ARMY reading this, and don’t forget to stream Killin it Girl ;) submitted by /u/perpetualparanoia0 [link] [comments]

775. Unpopular opinions: kpop lookalike edition!

What are two idols who you think look alike, but nobody is talking about it/agrees with you? I’ll go first! For me Stray Kids’ Seungmin en Itzy’s Yeji are soooo similar, but I never hear anyone agree! I think they look more alike than Yeji and Hyunjin. submitted by /u/StrawberryOnFire [link] [comments]

All that waiting has finally come to an end and it seems like poetic justice for whatever BTS & armys have gone through in the past few years! Seeing all of them enjoying Jhope's concert is making me so emotional. PS: Jhope is a born star. That man can PERFORM!!! submitted by /u/rndmthoughts7 [link] [comments]

784. TREASURE'S main vocalist Park Jeongwoo NEEDS more recognition !

i have been obsessed with his recent cover on X. he covered SZA's open arms and honestly i'm mind blown! the runs and the riffs and the high notes are insane! he even does riffs IN falsetto. he is insane and needs to be recognized as one of the BEST if not the best vocalist of his generation. i know YG doesnt really promote TREASURE but you guys have to check him out. submitted by /u/jwvision [link] [comments]

785. Sometimes people hate simply because of the influence of other people.

  • 1 week ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but I've noticed that many people don't even know the context of something and already have an opinion against it... this is general. You know those prank videos of everyone doing something strange in some environment, and the person doesn't understand right away, but in order not to be "alone" they repeat the same thing unconsciously? That's what a lot of hate is. You have to research on your own and judge according to the principles you believe in, not let people tell you what to do, just to "fit in" submitted by /u/azio_o [link] [comments]
