My daughter and I just attended our very first live concert together with TWICE! I’ve been an ONCE since 2015, following them since their Sixteen era. TWICE has been one of the reasons I endured various chapters of my life—college, career, and even motherhood. Moving forward, I had my daughter in 2018. Even while I was pregnant, I became more fond of TWICE to the point that I almost named her Mina. When she was born, I never stopped living my ONCE life and I even influenced her! I’m not exaggerating, but when she was little, her first favorite song was “Cheer Up.” Instead of saying “Mama” as her first word, her first phrase was “shy, shy, shy” lol. Growing up, she listened to TWICE’s songs, and we often watched their reality shows together. In 2023, I attended their concert alone. I remember how she cried because she wanted to come with me, but she was only five years old at the time. I promised her that on their next world tour, we would go together. Tonight, that promise came true! She was so happy—vibing, dancing, and jumping! She kept saying things like, “They’re beautiful. They really have two eyes.” For context, she has always believed TWICE was named that because they each have two eyes lol. What touched me even more was what happened after the concert. On our way home, she suddenly said, “Mama, thank you for making me happy. You’re the best mom ever!” I couldn’t help but tear up. TWICE, thank you so much for making my little lifeline happy! I'm curious about more singing performances by Kelly kim from the time turner survival show. I know she doesn't sing well but all I see is the clip where she's singing 'all i want for Christmas is you', nothing else. I don't see any other performances solo and group on YouTube. Minor Spoilers for ‘Debut or Die’ I was recently reflecting on the idea from ‘Debut or Die’ where fans could vote on the number of members in the final group. In the comic trolls purposely voted 1 to lower the group number To amend this I making the lowest number be five so there are five guaranteed members. For the upper end it can be 16 which would be the number of members in the finale. This allows the show to have a top bit you want to be in without spoiling exact the numbers. Now you may wonder how the finale could work in a show where they could all debut. First the top 5 are announced from five up, then you announce the ranks from 6 down but as each rank is announced if they are in the debut group or not is announced. This model keeps the suspense though it does make for a nail biting finale. I listen to a lot of kpop (maybe not so much into the new gen post 2023) but I still listen to a lot of kpop and honestly I’m an album listening kind of person and among all the numerous kpop albums I’ve listened to I can in a very confidently (in biased way of thinking) say that SM artists have very insane discography. and while still it annoys me how it’s very very very rare it is for the artists of SM to write their own songs… but still the songs are so good that I can’t even complain. This comes after listening to No manners by SuperM lol. That being said drop you favorite NO SKIP ALBUMS.
