Each tier is also ranked from top to least. I do have ggs like ILY1, Tri.be, Oh My Girl, and ElzUp in my playlist but probably like 3-5 songs which to me, isn’t enough to merit putting them on the list. Explaining some ggs: Red Velvet, I’m surprisingly not as deep into their discography as I thought I was. So they’re at the top of the I Like. I know more of their songs than the other ggs in the category. BLACKPINK, if I wasn’t tying in the solo content, they would be bottom of ‘I Love’. But I am counting solos so they’re high ‘I Like’. I’m not too familiar with GFRIEND or Apink yet. I have been slowly diving into their discographies so those two would get bumped up at some point. Same goes for Kep1er. Got The Beat, love the lineup but not a fan of the songs in the first release. Keep forgetting they have a second release so once I get to that one, I might bump them up to high-mid ‘Ok’ or lower’I Like’. Made an error that UNIS should be at the end, behind STAYC and Purple Kiss. Didn’t notice till now and I’m lazy in correcting. watching bp1 and bp2 at the same time makes me realize how absolutely unreal this whole cast was, especially hanbin and Zhang hao, I mean sangwon and the whole bp2 cast are good and all, but I feel like bp 1 had more character and bond between the cast, seriously hanbin and hao can never ever be replaced by anyone. hanbin is probably one of the contestants with the most potential and teamwork skills ever in the history of survival shows. Not to mention bp 2 feels so rushed because they're trying to replace zb1, I feel like not all the trainees aren't really talent based and the mistreatment is insane, not to mention the judges are actually batshit insane. I feel like they just collected a bunch of trainees from failed projects (not trainee A shade... they deserve to debut), nugu groups, and didn't do proper background checks on their trainees. I wish mnet had waited to make a boys planet 2 just like the gap between wannaone and zb1, but of course after seeing zb1s success they got greedy and rushed for another cash grab, but I feel bad for the trainees that will debut In the new group because I just dont think they will be able to live up to zb1's name like wakeone expects them too. the whole reason zb1 was successful was because they had genuinely passionate and talented trainees, I'm not saying the bp2 contestants dont have passion but the editing is making me not want to vote. the reason people voted and where so invested in bp1 was because all the trainees where passionate in growing and they where all extremely talented, that's why people wanted to vote because they genuinely for the most part couldn't tell who would debut and who wouldn't. but in bp 2 its so obvious who's gonna debut. I'm not gonna lie I adored trainee A but it feels like people are just voting for Sangwon and Leo based on their background, of course they are extremely talented but after seeing the whole ot9 lineup for zb1 I dont know what to think of the bp2 cast. The trainees are either great, terrible, or just not able to show their potential because they've been edited out. Mnet made this season even more rigged, from the C trainee controversy to the editing, it feels like they already have their "Zerobaseone 2.0" line up already in mind and are just waiting to debut them too long to read: I feel like after bp1, bp2 seems so lack lustre and has no personality, I feel that this season is just made for trying to replace zb1. I don’t understand why most of kpop community keeps dragging them up as the example of a failed BG. They’re from JYPE, a big agency, they’ve already won two rookie awards (SMA and ASEA), gained 1M TikTok followers, and sold over 600k albums. But people keep using them as an example of failure. Context: a new BG from Bighit 'Cortis' debuted, their song got mixed reactions and their Spotify debut was only ~138k streams. Then the comments were full of ‘The KickFlip of Hybe,’ ‘The next KickFlip,’ etc. The fact is, KickFlip is a successful BG from JYPE, but it feels like people are purposely refusing to acknowledge them.
