ive just only been on tiktok for a few weeks now, but this is an issue that genuinely pisses me off. like i'd just be trying to watch (for example) skz's videos in peace, and when i open up the comments expecting funny/relatable stuff that ppl say, the top comments are literally FILLED with those type of comments that ive mentioned in the title. i really dont dare to scroll down further, it makes me uncomfortable. ive been blocking and reporting those typa comments too- tiktok doesnt do anything about it for some reason. omfg, im tired. and this doesnt just happen only in skz's videos. its been happening in a few other groups' content as well. i follow very few grps so i dont know if this is happening in alot of them, but this happening in the first place is genuinely horrible. these commenters have even said stuff like " (idol) leave (grp) " , " (rest of the members): 💓💝 (one specific member): 🧌👹 " and others. its not as severe as the example in the title, but again still an issue. oh ya, forgot to mention, its bad bc people will usually use the names of idols who have passed to harass specific members of grps which srsly disrespects both sides. has this always been happening?? im not quite sure bc before tiktok, i was mainly on yt which has SIGNIFICANTLY better comments than tiktok tbh. like are they ragebait accs or something,, because i admittedly still haven't fully grasped the concept of ragebait and how to know what a ragebait comment is. plus, even though I feel really frustrated with this issue as well, ppl really need to stop responding to them. ive usually seen "sybau" memes which is uhh relatively tame, but still gives unnecessary attention to the commenters. but some ppl literally have the same problem of disrespecting idols that have passed, just using their names against the commenters instead. like... you're doing the same exact thing wtf... okay, im done. thanks for reading, and give an input on this if u want :) also pls tell me if im overreacting TT submitted by /u/qqvanillara [link] [comments]

I’ve been thinking about this for a while now but I really can’t seem to express my opinions anywhere cause I feel like I’d be hit back with an immediate hate or “You’re overthinking it!” But GENUINELY when I sense smth fishy or weird from a person it’d turns out to be true most of the time but I’m not really sure if it’s true this time. I came across a TikTok on my fyp (I wasn't looking at the screen, just listening) and i literally thought it was enhypen performing future perfect (pass the mic) on their tour but it was cortis performing fashion. Random morning emotions. Listening to TPN Pt.3 as I start my day & thinking about how amazing this group was, & how much they delivered during their short time. There are plenty of artists that are capable of making good music, excellent music even. But not everybody can truly STICK OUT from the crowd, just by result of there being so many people in the industry out & about. GWSN to this very day have a sound & look that feel so distinct. They really had it in the bag. Dreamy MVs with creative set design, excellent songs with a distinct atmosphere, executed so well that now some people dub othersongs that sound anywhere similar as "GWSN-like". I also think the group had some really underrated singers. From ad-libs, to highnotes, to runs; every vocal performance for each of their songs was executed with such finesse. Special shout outs to Lena: I just lovee her voice so much. I'm glad theyre out of that god awful company, but it still sucks that we didn't get more from them. Thankfully they were able to put out a catalogue that, while small, is large enough to keep me glued in for the rest of my life. At the end of the day, when you move past all the flash, the glitz, the instantly catchy title tracks; The good music will be what sticks around. It’s really disappointing to see big accounts trying to set Rosé up for hate trains. Even Olivia fans have started dragging her because certain blue tick channels twisted her VMA achievement with misleading “paved the way” titles, all for clout and money. Instead of focusing on her success, they’re pushing her into fanwars that she never asked for. This moment was the time to celebrate rosé success but instead ended up with fights between fandoms and dragging rosé for something she didn't even asked for. But Rosé’s VMA win is something that should be celebrated on its own. She worked incredibly hard for this moment, and her talent is finally being recognized on a global stage.💞 That’s huge and deserves respect. Winning a VMA is a huge honor on its own, but calling it “paving the way” is simply wrong. “Paved the way” is a very heavy phrase. It doesn’t just mean winning an award, it refers to breaking barriers, opening doors for others, or changing the industry in such a big way that the path becomes easier for the next generation. That’s something built over years of influence, not from one single award. By throwing that phrase casually onto Rosé’s accomplishment, people are undermining both her win and the true meaning of paving the way. That doesn’t lessen Rosé’s accomplishment in any way. In fact, this win adds to her growing legacy and proves she is carving her own path as a respected artist. Rosé doesn’t need exaggerated titles to shine, her artistry, hard work, and achievements already speak volumes. Real Blinks should stand behind her and celebrate her success, instead of giving attention to clout chasers who only care about engagement and money.
