What are some beautiful songs that are over three minutes long, but still feel too short—and you wish they had more?

Weeks ago, I saw a post about songs that felt complete even though they were under three minutes. Now, I’m curious about the opposite. One song that comes to mind for me is ILLIT’s “Do the Dance.” It runs a little over three minutes, and I think a big reason for that is to showcase its beautiful instrumental. However, I really feel like the song deserved a proper bridge—it would have added so much more depth. submitted by /u/why_dmn [link] [comments]

Soobin sunday driver music video got released. it is such a cute song, which instantly puts you in a good mood, with a smile on your face. Soobin's vocals are quite underrated, he has such a pretty falsetto and sweet, smooth vocals that almost feels like a lullaby,He can also belt out highnotes really well as he proved in the title track beautiful strangers. lyrics are also soo lovely and romantic for the song sunday driver.my favourite lyrics are- "Drawn by the dazzling sunset. We arrive somewhere off the planned route Now I know, even this wrong turn Feels like a scene from a movie" MV visuals are really cute. The plant as a passenger, soobin being a plant dad, with changing of seasons with music cds.The 2D animation in between and the ending adorable plot twist is a treat to the eyes. The song of the summer is here,in the form of sunday driver. submitted by /u/Fearless_Support_505 [link] [comments]

3.056. i don’t really vibe with lara?

i wasn’t sure whether to use this flair or rant but rant seemed way too extreme. anyways, i feel i’m going to be crucified for this but i don’t really vibe with lara from katseye. like she’s gorgeous and extremely talented but there’s this “mean/fake popular girl” aura/vibe i get from her. maybe because she reminds me of the popular girls in my teenage years and it just rubs me the wrong way. might be some sort of unresolved trauma idk. i hate to drop the “i’m autistic” bomb but i think that might contribute to if i’m reading her the wrong way. i’m also trying to be very decisive with my words as to not offend anyone, esp eyekons. it also might just be my age talking even though i’m not that much older than her. even so, i find i don’t really vibe with younger gen z so that could be a factor as to why i feel this way. submitted by /u/After-Confection147 [link] [comments]

3.066. Kpop fans need to stop projecting on their favs.

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

A 5 am rant cuz I cannot sleep. Honestly you don’t even have to be a sociology major or even an enthusiast to understand how truly cooked fan-idol relationships are in the kpop sphere. But something I never quite understood is how kpop fans consistently treat their faves as if they are fictional characters. Like it’s genuinely insane. I’ve been both an anime and kpop fan for years and there is no difference in the way people speak of characters like Deku or Gojo and how they speak of idols. They genuinely do not see them as people. Sometimes it’s a bunch of harmless fun with videos like (how I think the members of xyz would react to xyz) but others border on delusion and projection. I m a multi but I ult BTS and ENHYPEN so best believe I am qualified to speak on this topic since both those fandoms are front and center when it comes to projection and so called “headcanons”. But obviously this is an a problem that is solely exclusive to armys and engenes. An example is how some engenes treat Sunoo. Overanalyzing every single interaction with the members, making up entire stories about ENHYPEN’s bond or even work relationship and just straight up projecting an “odd sheep” or “sidelined victim” narrative of Sunoo as if they know these boys personally. And then in true kpop fashion antis and non-fans jump on the bandwagon to hate on ENHYPEN and proceed to again project their vision of what they think ENHYPEN is as if it was the truth. Another case is jikookers/taekookers and their delusion that Vminkook hate each other so that they can fuel their agenda that either of those ships are real. Like you’ll have them microanalyzing every single interaction and projecting what they want to happen on them and it’s so fucking weird. Like they’ll be saying shit like “jikook included tae in this show because he was sulking and pressuring them but they didn’t want him there” like did they tell you this personally? Also whether or not their relationship is platonic or romantic or even just professional is none of our damn business. At the end of the day, no matter how much content we consume or how much facts we know, they are still strangers to us and we are strangers to them. However we should at least have the decency to take them at their word when they speak of their fondness for each other. It’s their relationship not ours. We are not entitled to every second of their life nor are we entitled to know everything about their relationships with each other. submitted by /u/m0mmymikasa [link] [comments]

3.068. Any K-pop fans here who learned Korean in 8-12months? I need help fr

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I’ve been trying to learn Korean for a while now, and honestly it feels like I’m going nowhere. I’m a K-pop fan and I really want to understand what idols say without waiting for subs, maybe even hold a basic convo one day. I’ve been using Anki, Duolingo, How to Study Korean, and I’ve watched Peppa Pig in Korean like 50 times. No joke I’ve rewatched the same episode 5 times in a week just trying to catch small stuff. I also watch YouTube videos about grammar, Hangul, all that. But grammar?? That’s where I get stuck. I kind of get particles when they’re explained, but when I try to actually use them or understand full sentences, I freeze. I feel like I’m memorizing vocab and rules, but it’s not clicking when I hear real Korean. So… if any of you actually learned Korean in under a year, especially if you started because of K-pop,how did you do it?? What helped grammar actually make sense? Did immersion help? If so, what kind (shows, vlogs, lyrics, etc.)? What did your daily and weekly routine look like? I’m not giving up, just feel like I’m missing something and would love to hear from anyone who’s been through this and made it out the other side lol. Any advice is seriously appreciated ❤️ submitted by /u/Sad-Prior-8480 [link] [comments]

And I can’t even explain why I think that, maybe the eyes+cheeks+smile combo? Or are his eyes a little downward tilted at the outside corners like hers are? Pls validate me, I don’t even see him that often because I don’t follow BTS but every single time I say in my mind “dang he REALLY looks like Julie Andrews” if he wore a wig he could be Maria von trapp submitted by /u/Mindless_Candidate90 [link] [comments]

3.070. Will there ever be a kpop group with idols who are plus size?

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I've been happy with the increase of diversity within the upcoming groups in the recent years. More international groups and also idols who are allowed and even promoted to celebrate pride and express themselves more. That being said I still am seeing or should I say not seeing a single plus sized kpop idol or group. This really does disappoint me, I'm sure there's a very large audience for this maybe not as much in Korea but internationally. We all know plus sized dancers definitely exist and do just as well in a routine as anyone else of a different size. However, there talents aren't being showcased, unfortunately there is a large bias towards skinnier idols and exclusion to anyone who's more plus sized. Do you guys think this will change? And will we ever get a plus sized idol or group? submitted by /u/Interesting-Trip-233 [link] [comments]
