What nicknames for group members do you find the most funny/endearing/cute? Either fan-made or from within the group. Some examples:Saki for Sakura "where the heck is Saki?!" Yoonchip for Yoonchae (Katseye) is adorable. Also Swim Kim for Sooin (MEOVV). I also like that pronouncing Asa from Baemon as Ace-sa has stuck as a nickname. 1.654. Is anyone else excited for the upcoming Twice tour?

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Ever since the drop of the solo teasers for the concert the other day, I've been daydreaming of what stages will accompany them. I haven't listened to all of them yet mind, but here's my thoughts for the ones I do have. The image of Jeongyeon with a cowboy hat is so strong in my mind, and I can already just imagine that soulful look she gets when she really gets into a song. I know Momo will open up with a huge dance break. That very long opening is clue lol. She will impress for sure. I honestly have no clue what Dahyun will do lol. Does the Fur Elise sample mean she is playing the piano again? I also don't know how she's gonna do a darker stage. She never has before, so I wonder what that will look like for her. Lastly, I can already imagine where Nayeon will go all out dancing for her solo lol. She also spoilered a rose emoji on bubble so I have no clue what's that about. Anyway, that drop really has me excited for their tour aaaaaah. submitted by /u/BlueThePineapple [link] [comments]

1.655. idk if i should be a txt/bts stan again and its guilting me

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

for context around 2018-2020 i used to stan bts and txt, while knowing abt stray kids however i didnt consider stray kids to be a group i wanted to stan since my former friend group and i thought bts and txt competed w skz (yeonjun/changbin and jungkook/lee know are really close iirc) and we were having beef with our classmate stays (eg "Adrien" and "Shmuel") it all changed in june 2020 (when gods menu came out.. omg i cant believe its been 5 years it felt like yesterday) and i js fell in love w the song (i previously had awkward silence and my pace as a guilty pleasure, my former friend group and i even planned to cover my pace as a "farewell" for a civil leave) this was when i started getting more estranged from bts/txt and my friends and felt like stray kids were the group for me then came the time i asked for permission to like skz (when i first heard miroh and school life) and they were like "sure go ahead.. be careful/dont go overboard, ur already kinda neglecting bts/txt" i completely ignored them tho and also got into groups like wjsn, wanna one, suju, bigbang, 2ne1, snsd, gfriend, twice, rv etc. which i didnt plan for such a thing to happen, but even i feel like im a traitor/snake for letting it happen they excluded me from their gc since i hadnt listened to them and started calling me out on their instas/snap and telling everyone im a snake/i kept getting mean comments from their friends/family/alternate acc so i ended up blocking them all this came up again since ive been doxxed by their male friends (Kento and Jimmy) who sa'ed me a while back (and theyve befriended/dating them to shove it in my face) and ive been feeling like its all my fault for my falling out with them.. as for bts/txt, i used to have posters of them (along w sf9/enhypen/itzy posters im gonna sell but idk where to begin) and i wanna sell the bts/txt/etc. posters since i keep trying to get back into them and it just doesnt work for me.. ive found my place in skz (and gidle, seventeen, 14u, wjsn, wanna one, suju, bigbang, snsd, rv, gfriend, twice, day6 etc) and i feel like theyre the group that i have never realised i wanted my whole life so what should i do? is this doxxing a result of my own actions and i am selfish? or should i try and give js one more chance to txt before i decide to sell the posters for good? submitted by /u/Minute_Ice_7434 [link] [comments]

1.656. Wich B-Side song should have been a title track

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

We all have songs that were we think that it should have been a title song. Maybe even songs that performed better than the actual title track song. Here are some of my thoughts: EXO - The Eve Seventeen - Good to me Le sserafim - Sour Grapes BTS - Magic Shop Aespa - Illusion Let me now your opinion submitted by /u/Injeolmie_04 [link] [comments]

1.658. Ticket areas wildly different - Stray Kids Amsterdam

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

my friend ordered 3 tickets for my husband me and them a while back, we talked about the seating and everything. I didn't look at them for a long time, but I just logged into Ticketmaster and all 3 have wildly different areas and entrances? My friend is certain they just picked one. Is this a possible quirk? Is there a way around it? submitted by /u/d_grub [link] [comments]

This is prompted by NCT WISH's Steady album. When it originally came out, for some reason I really disliked it (what the hell was wrong with me) except for the TT & Dunk Shot. But I came back to it about 9 months later and wow, i must have been crazy cause that album is absolutely amazing. (my queen steady i'm so sorry i paid u dust 😔🙏) so whats it for u? submitted by /u/5iv3_ [link] [comments]

1.661. Kpop Demon Hunters was so good and really made me love Kpop like I used to!

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I haven’t been as hardcore into kpop the past year and a half and at one point it made me really sad but eventually I came to terms with it. I still listen to the music but am not as invested as I once was. Watching this movie though really made me remember how special kpop is and how it healed me during a hard time in my life. I’m not going to get too sappy on here but the movie was beautiful, the animation was amazing, and the soundtrack is fire!!! I definitely recommend checking this out because this movie does a great job of poking fun at kpop culture and how manufactured it can be on a surface level but overall embodies the beauty and love in kpop! Also, I loved how they showed things like entertainment shows, a sequence of music show wins, and even had their own MAMA awards! Oh and last thing I want to say is that the soundtrack is pure fire!!! So many of the songs remind me of current groups. “How It’s Done” could be a Blackpink song, makes sense because Teddy and a lot of their producers were on it. Also the beginning instrumental sounds so similar to Girls by Blackpink. “Your Idol” could definitely be an Enhypen song, especially with their vampire fantasy concept. Totally recommend checking out the music!! EDIT: RIGHT AFTER MAKING THIS POST I GOT THIS TIKTOK submitted by /u/SnooPickles6034 [link] [comments]

1.662. University festivals are the best performances to watch

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

No backup dancers, you get to see just the idols dancing and you truly get to see how good they are at without any extra stuff. The crowd doesn't know every word, but is actually more rowdy. Some of the concerts where the fans know every single word and sing every word and constantly do fanchants are a bit annoying. It's a performance, not a sports game where you have to hype up your team to beat the other team. It feels less organized and more natural at a university festival. You can also actually hear their voices. No constantly moving camera. I dislike how you can barely see how the dancing is when the camera changes angles every second in the concerts. submitted by /u/SpecSlayerSC [link] [comments]

1.665. Why is everything in K-pop styled in ALL CAPS.

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

For example: TWICE takes the stage by performing SET ME FREE at the READY TO BE WORLD TOUR Stadium, or TWICE Pre-release english track "MOONLIGHT SUNRISE" M/V or BABYMONSTER - 'LIKE THAT' EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEO. You know what I mean? This includes the group, idol's name, and song titles: BLACKPINK, TWICE, BTS, ITZY, EXO, LE SSERAFIM, NMIXX, IVE, etc. or IRENE, HANNI, TZUYU, JANGWONYOUNG, etc. Like, why can't they have a song with just without all CAPS? I know not every group or song is in all caps, but 90% of the time, everything is all caps, even with the softest, calm songs; they are mostly in all caps. submitted by /u/SatisfactionAdept548 [link] [comments]

1.666. How much do you think idols doing dance challenges with other artists helps with the promotion of a song?

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Here's my opinion: when more popular artists do a dance challenge with a non-Big 4/rookie group, I think it may help bring attention to the less popular artist's song. At this point, I think idols doing dance challenges with other idols who have overlapping promotional periods is going to be a well-established tradition moving forward. But I think it is inherently more interesting when the idols doing the dance challenge have some sort of history together, whether they appeared on a show together or they have a friendship. What do you think? submitted by /u/Ruler_J [link] [comments]

1.668. What other 4th/5th generation groups have unique voices?

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I feel like groups tend to do better/stand out with unique voices for each of the members like just by hearing the song. Skz, twice, itzy, bp, bts you know the bigger groups in the past etc. You can tell whose part it is in the song sooo easily even if you're a casual listener or a new fan. And it's even harder to pull off when there are lots of members in a group. A few exceptions like NJ/fifty-fifty who made it big but sound the same (for me). The newer generations have good songs but for example, all of H2H's members' voices sound the same like the stock-standard kpop girl voice sound. nexz, zerobaseone and more. But nmixx is different for example. And then there are groups that sit in between like you can maybe tell apart some of the members in the group like babymon, meovv. Ofc, everyone's different but this is just me. submitted by /u/dbzonepiecenaruto [link] [comments]
