Context, this person apparently saw Taehyun out an about in his private time and decided to post it on weverse, and this was Taehyun's reply to it. Taehyun has never been the one to shy away from respctfully calling out fans or setting boundaries, and I'm glad that he continues to be that way Massive side eye to that OP. This was clearly his private time and it wasn't even supposed to be posted. Worse, OP posted it in real time, just after they met him, when he could still potentially be around that area and other "fans" might take the initiative to flock him or stalk himπ. submitted by /u/ilovemeeeeee [link] [comments]
Do you guys think there will eventually come a time where the Big 3 wonβt be monopolizing the industry anymore and other companies will take over? Obviously, the Big 3βs legacy is huge - even if one of their groups doesnβt blow up to some crazy level, theyβll still pull a big fandom just from the name alone. But lately, it feels like things are shifting a bit, and I've been into Kpop since 2007. HYBE has for sure cemented their place as a leader in the industry, nobody can deny that. The Black Label and Starship have also been doing really well recently. Meanwhile, YG doesnβt have much going on at the moment, JYP doesn't seem to be hitting big with their groups, and SM just debuted a new group - itβs still too early to say anything, but theyβre not making the same level of noise as before. It makes me wonder if the market now has more room for other companies to grow big and maybe even take over that Big 3 in the future. What do you think? Could that happen eventually? submitted by /u/Special-Ad6201 [link] [comments]

I don't know if she did end up getting the surgery but the long term effects of this have to be bad, right? submitted by /u/hellhound_1505 [link] [comments]
Hereβs the 2024 K-pop scene in a nutshell β these groups have been dominating both Korea and the global stage: BTS β Global influence, insane album sales, massive social media following. BLACKPINK β YouTube queens, global fashion brand ambassadors. TWICE β Huge fandom in and outside Korea, strong chart performance, always active. SEVENTEEN β Performance kings, rapidly expanding global fandom. NewJeans β 4th-gen girl group taking over with fresh vibes. aespa β Unique concept, growing fanbase, strong rookies. TXT (Tomorrow X Together) β High on global charts, rising powerhouse. Stray Kids β Known for performance + self-produced music, killing overseas charts. (G)I-DLE β Original music style, strong international following. MONSTA X β Charismatic performances, active overseas promotions. Of course, other groups like ASTRO, SEVENTEEN, (G)I-DLE, Stray Kids, NewJeans, aespa, TXT, and MONSTA X keep climbing high in the rankings every year. π¬ Question for you: Whatβs your favorite idol group? And why are they the best in your heart? π submitted by /u/Total_Deal1544 [link] [comments]

Iβve just seen a photo of RosΓ©βs double eyelid surgery scar and Iβm curious: have you guys seen photos of any other idol with such scars? Iβve only seen another one of Lisaβs nose a few years ago, I canβt recall others. Idk if this is weird, I just find plastic surgery interesting in general and idols hide their procedures relatively well, as most are really well-done or a couple of small tweaks rather than less of major surgeries. These are kinda the only confirmations weβll have and I prefer these over just accusing them of whatever bc it appears different (like Iβve seen people accusing T.O.P of multiple surgeries, but he had a 20kg weight loss and that does a lot. He essentially looks the same, just skinnier obviously) This isnβt hate, just curiousity <3 submitted by /u/OddScreen7805 [link] [comments]

βββββββββββββββββ Hey everyone, I hope you all had a great first week of August. My week has been decent since Iβm on vacation with my friend, and weβve been having a good time. This week delivered some tunes that kept popping up on my playlist as I kept returning to them like crazy. I did find my summer anthem, which Iβll be sharing with you sometime in August. Now letβs jump into the music and see what the artists released. βββββββββββββββββ https://preview.redd.it/m12pnebq9zhf1.jpg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3539dcb7183d57a7afcc51018cb3eb7a81e465f0 Best of the Week: August 6th Dancing Alone - KiiiKiii KiiiKiii is back with their first single album, one Iβve been hyped about. KiiiKiii debuted in March and quickly became one of my favorite groups from this year. Dancing Alone is the title track with a funky-synth vibe that has been pulling me back for more. The smooth and sweet vocals fit wonderfully with the overall vibe. The more I hear this tune, the more it gets stuck in my head, and Iβm not mad about it. The B-side is Strawberry Cheesegame, which has this piano melody that gives this track a bit of a jazzy vibe, something we never heard from the group. The members' vocals fit perfectly with the overall vibe. We do get a little rap in the second verse that adds to the overall vibe. KiiiKiii is back with a single album that keeps pulling me back https://preview.redd.it/6u9ylp38azhf1.jpg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6a1947e9d466d1a7b313ee76c162f230d7898a26 Other Korean Releases of the Week: August 3rd Diamond Stars (feat. YOUHA & Kim Seungmin) - MINIT DJ and producer MINIT is back with a new single, teaming up with Youha and Kim Seungmin for this short single. The bouncy beat fits perfectly with the vocal effects added to Youhaβs vocal moment. The hook is pretty decent as Youha sings that moment of the track. Seungmin comes in with a little rap that fits the overall vibe the producer crafted. With the song being 2:05 seconds, it makes me wish the track were longer, or even adding another artist to the tune to help make this tune a little bit longer to flesh it out more. https://preview.redd.it/zphcmnfhazhf1.jpg?width=225&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aae1293487b77a0e552df7ed71fcdf27b52b38cd βββββββββ βββββββ Non-Korean Releases of the Week: A Little More - Ed Sheeran Ed Sheeran is back with his fourth single from his upcoming album, Play. The first time I heard this track, it put a smile on my face with its sweet melodies and vocals from Ed. The hook is pretty catchy, as it didnβt take me long to learn that part of the song. We get a rap from Ed in the second verse, which adds to the playful vibe that the instrumental delivers. Iβm glad that each of the singles has been different, showing different sides of Ed as we enter this new era with the singer. https://preview.redd.it/i6yxyphwazhf1.jpg?width=276&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5939a41dd1bafbfdcbaf0e03fa7eb2034f754854 βββββββββ βββββββ Liar of the Year - Ploychompoo Thai-pop singer Ploychompoo is back with a new single. It opens with guitars as the singer's sweet voice comes into the mix. The percussion helps move the tune forward, but I feel ike the vocals are the real star of the show. The hook is still growing on me the more I hear it. I do like that Ploychompoo is going for this pop-rock sound. Iβve enjoyed what the singer was doing in 2024 and was hoping 2025 would be another smash year for the singer. https://preview.redd.it/la49ddg8bzhf1.jpg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=09a4df5838b12ded209d9e5612b36186a6938ea3 βββββββββ βββββββ Lastfm Weekly Roundup (August 1st - August 7th) Artist: Twice βββββββββ βββββββ Album: T-world - Tray B βββββββββ βββββββ Song: μνΌλ§¨ - Kambo https://preview.redd.it/ht3twy36czhf1.jpg?width=224&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2fa9fd4db138b800283f09788128e342269087a9 submitted by /u/Maltifandom23 [link] [comments]
