To me it will always be SNSD, Bigbang, and EXO. They set the bar too high š submitted by /u/No-Vehicle1562 [link] [comments]

I can hear the similarities but honestly Iāve heard a ton of songs with that same kind of vibe. Still if the original artist is saying āhey this is basically my songā then that speaks louder than whatever I think. And honestly this is just classic YG behavior: ripping off Black artists, profiting off Black culture, and never giving credit. Treating Blackness like a costume their idols can put on and take off whenever itās trendy. Theyāll steal the music, the style, the attitude, package it for profit and then pretend it was all original. As I have said before, Kpop needs a YG cleanse. Please donāt go after BABYMONSTER for this though. They didnāt write it. They didnāt produce it. This is entirely on duckass YG. submitted by /u/thebarted [link] [comments]

So, I made this post because suddenly I remember about 4D personality that being pinned to the K-POP idols. I remember it's sort of personality that's different from the common how idols usually had. It's kind of charming, funny, and they kind of don't care about to stay cool and love to act or say random. And recently when I look at IAN Hearts2Hearts, I wonder if she can be categorized as one as well? But apart from that, I'm questioning another question to myself. Is 4D personality is a real thing? Isn't a human personality something that can't be categorized easily? What do you guys' thoughts about it? Do you believe in it or nah? If so, would you consider IAN as one as well? submitted by /u/shaftmajo [link] [comments]

as a fan and as a human, i have grown to respect TWICE so much more over these last four hours. the girls performed back-to-back tracks for 90 minutes with minimal breaks, and they still didnāt want to leave the stage. in fact they came back once again after saying goodbyes. at last their mics had to be cut off to take them away lol. its so impressing how they rehearsed for lollapalooza, coldplay concert, their world tour 360 stage with new adaptive choreo for the stage, K-pop Demon Hunters collab, full KOREAN album, full JAPANESE album, saweetie collab, and in this meantime dahyun was busy filming for her drama and chaeyoung for her solo debut. and iām sure i missed out on a few things more. these girls are in their 10th year and are still reaching new peaks. twice might be the first girl group to be releasing music till their 20th anniversary lol. iām just so proud of them. everyone is praising then left, right, centre. it truly feels so nice to ult a group that loves their fandom and their job as performers. submitted by /u/SeparateClassroom117 [link] [comments]
