What is a lyric that bugs you for some reason, because it could actually work, but they decided not to write it that way?

For some reason, there are some lyrics where you can hear the fix and wonder why they didn’t just...? I am gonna go first. In How You Like That, Rosé in the first verse says “I’ll kiss you byyyyye” instead of “I’ll kiss you goodbye.” WHY? Just why? They even write “I’ll kiss you goodbye” in the captions! I’m a Queencard enthusiast, I don’t usually mind wacky lyrics, BUT I can forgive the Ariana and Kim K line (even though it’s awkward), but the “my boob and booty is hot” is pretty fixable. They could’ve just said, “My boobs and booty, hot!” Like... why?? submitted by /u/Any-Listen4184 [link] [comments]

3.867. What can we do, as fans, about the exploitation of workers in the K-pop industry?

  • 1 month ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

As we all probably know by now, K-pop is a very exploitive industry, where idols have very little freedom and are always being commodified by their companies. If idols are workers, then us fans are consumers. So here is the question: What can we, as consumers of K-pop, do about the exploitive nature of the K-pop industry on workers? Either individually or collectively. submitted by /u/Mountain-You9842 [link] [comments]

3.868. idols who say that every song is about fans

  • reddit.com language

anyone finds that funny? like yes they might write a song about fans, but a song could be about romantic love or sex but the idols would be like “it’s a song for the fans” i just find it funny cause we all know that’s nawt true and y’all are writing about your actual partners submitted by /u/sunsetky [link] [comments]

3.869. What kind f'ed up show is thisss??? I am so angry and sad rn!!

  • reddit.com language

I am so angry and sad. What kind of show is this?!!?? All they did was tell the members how handsome they are and how small their heads are! Like wtf?? And all the comments were like that too, i was waiting for the time where they would dance or sing or do something related to them being idols but nope. Guess their heighs, check their weight, make them uncomfortable, ect. I could literally see the cringe in their eyes and every time they smiled it was so fake. Why did they do that? I started crying, my ult group was being treated like it they weren't there but their faces were. Ps: they are 'K', 'Jo' and 'EJ' from &team. STAN THEM submitted by /u/shiny0009 [link] [comments]

3.870. Kiss of life tell me choreography

  • 1 month ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

okay, so... it's just something i wanted that i wanted to share to see other people thoughts related to Kany's tweet about choreographing part of the "tell me" dance. https://x.com/kanydiabate/status/1937701104835588241 https://x.com/thailainthemood/status/1908197110198984761 About the whole kiss of life thing, I'm honestly so upset about it still lol because i really liked their music. Apart from really liking julie's and natty's stage presence and style, i never was a huge fan of the members deeply as I am with, for example, twice or red velvet, which I care for the members. Now kiof, I was always mostly inclined to them because they make really good music. And them this whole thing came out and to be honest, for the first few weeks after the live, i still listened to them, even knowing everything (yeah....). but after a few weeks, the whole thing really started to sink and i just lost so much the respect i had for them to the point even if i still listened to them, was different because, not just because i felt it was wrong but because i kind of got hurt by how they handle the whole thing, really upsetting. first was a apology sent by the company, then the written ones for each member, and then like a week before their last comeback Julie made a live and apolgoize directly, but before that Natty and Haneul still had birthday lives and no one said anything, just moved on, and then with this live Julie said they didn't want to say anything before to not ruin the other members birthdays but like, i think, personally, showing that you're really sorry (in her case for the 2nd time) should be more important. also, she was the only one to apologize like that (even if was her idea that theme, everyone participated). Anyways, that's it, it's just something that i really wanted to share my thoughts, i know it's sounds dumb but i wanted to get this off my chest, because it's so annoying how upset i got with everything. And i also hate how they still make good music (just another dumb thing i also needed to say). submitted by /u/GuiltyReport5463 [link] [comments]

3.876. The never ending saga: Jaejoong and his sons

  • 1 month ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

this is purely a lighthearted joke about their similarities in appearance — they’re all people with distinct talents and unique personalities as we know and love <3 As a jaejoong ult this is SO hypocritical of me but I’ve recently come to realize that my bias line is literally just jaejoong and his sons in SM. After being away from kpop (the tvxq breakup traumatized me a bit lol), what got me back in was nct. Taeyong literally appeared on my yt algorithm and I did like a triple take because I thought jaejoong respawned in the land of unblacklistment. 6 years later my bias line is now jaejoong, taeyong, sungchan, and wonbin. I personally think early era taeyong is literally identical to o jung ban hap jae (+ sharper jaw and thinner lips). It’s kind of funny how different their personalities are given their physical resemblance lol Sungchan looks like a milder version of taeyong. Jaejoong is also a softer version of tae but in a way that’s slightly different from the way sungchan is imo. I see strong similarities between them though nevertheless. With wonbin, I think it’s more of the vibe induced by his 2nd gen styling (the long black hair suits him so well) and his affinity with the undisputed center position. A lot of people say there’s very little resemblance, but I do see VERY young jaejoong (think hug, pre-debut even; you’ll see) in wonbin very much. I am actually so disappointed in myself for sharing the exact same taste as LSM 🥀 Please let me know if there are other lookalikes! (and no “they failed to clone jaejoong” comments please they’re all talented in their own ways…) View Poll submitted by /u/shiomusubi [link] [comments]

3.881. Who were the first vs last members you recognised, and how long it took to you? (of either your favourite group, your first, or else, I just think this would be interesting)

as a brand new kpop fan, I'll do it about the only 2 groups I listen to STRAY KIDS \it took me 2/3 weeks of obsessive listen/watch]) first: Felix (mistaking him with Hyunjin for the few days, but then it clicked) last: I couldn't tell apart I.N and Seungmin for the first weeks (also Lee Know for a bit, but then I started to recognise him) ATEEZ \I'm still learning to tell them apart (listening them occasionally since 2 weeks maybe)]) first to caught my attention: oreo Wooyoung popped up in my pinterest (but couldn't recognise him with any other shorter cut) first to tell apart: San and Yeosang (they have such unique facial features!) then finally Wooyoung clicked, followed by Seonghwa (I couldn't tell them apart for a while) then Hongjoong and Mingi (I mistook him with San in the beginning) last (still struggling to tell apart): Yunho and Jongho XLOV first: Hyun (mostly because he's the one who's less femme, + he's taller and more tanned, so he always stood out to my eyes) last: couldn't tell the other 3 apart for weeks until it suddenly clicked submitted by /u/disasterpansexual [link] [comments]
