RosĆ© is a talented singer but I think her current vocal technique holds her musical direction back and isnāt ideal for the emotional, slower songs she makes. When listening to her ballads, I felt like her lack of belting and straining in some parts (āstay a little longerā comes to mind) made the songs a bit lacklustre as there wasnāt really a climax. Number One Girl and On My Mind suffered the most because of this in my opinion, it wouldāve been great if those songs ended with a really strong vocal part. Obviously not all ballads need crazy high notes but I think Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo is a good example of a song that is improved by the singerās great capabilities. She could do so much more with her music if she had a wider vocal range and dropped some of her stylistic choices. There are multiple times I think āan open, clear high note or run would really fit this partā when listening to her music. Itās nearly been a year since Rosie came out and Iāve grown to enjoy the album much more than I did when it first came out. I still prefer her poppier side with APT and ādrinks or coffeeā being my favourites but I donāt think her slower songs were as boring as many suggested when it first released. I would love to see her show off some vocal acrobatics on her future projects. And in case someone brings it up: I do have a previous post about the success of Rosie and I just wanna clarify that I talk about BP because I stan them and I generally just like analysing chart performance as you can tell by my post history. Iām not a BP/Rosie anti and I donāt intend to bring any hate to her. submitted by /u/DowntownFee1 [link] [comments]

I need every commenter to put their parasocialism aside before they say anything. There is no way someone is smaller at 36 than they were at 18 (when they were already bordering on underweight then) without being unhealthy. I'm not going to name names but I've seen this with so many female idols from 2nd generation and I genuinely don't know why. It makes no sense because even if you take the Korean beauty standards into account they objectively looked better prior to their starvation regime that has led them to look decrepit. They often times get a lot of filler to combat the gaunt face effect but that looks very obvious, too. It also makes no sense because they're nowhere near as active as they were in the past. You may say that they're just harsher on women as they grow more mature, which, true but then they have coworkers and bandmates that don't do as much and whose fame is of the same caliber if not higher. It's just sad. submitted by /u/balmybuttons [link] [comments]

So I combine some songs that in my opinion could be on the same album (you can disagree obviously) but I am curious about which group could had this "album" : https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0ypTf7fRCrS6EMniVCZp6o?si=aN0kwvuDTsqNpQQAuk5F7w submitted by /u/Pitiful-Ad2342 [link] [comments]

For me it has to be the parasocial relationships and the āheās my man etcā¦ā that have gone too far. submitted by /u/Impressive_Mode_9993 [link] [comments]
What is objectively the most difficult SNSD choreography and why is it Hoot? š As someone who has been a fan of SNSD since 2009, I found it easy to learn their choreo for Gee, Genie, Oh, Run Devil Run, Chocolate Love, Lion Heart, Forever 1, etc. But I could NEVER learn how to dance Hoot gracefully. What about you? What do you think is the most difficult SNSD choreo? submitted by /u/GainElectrical9594 [link] [comments]

Iām looking for a copy of Baby VOXās Come Come Come Baby album but all I can find are ones on eBay coming directly from Korea and I donāt want to pay the extra fees. Are there any online shops that sell 1st gen albums where I might be able find a copy of this one without having to pay the extra fees? Iām a having a hard time with this particular album because 99% of my Google search results are unrelated empty photo albums and baby supplies. submitted by /u/nipplequeefs [link] [comments]
