i saw a twitter post from aboutmusicyt saying that the saja boys from kpop demon hunter have surpassed bts on the charts. fun little announcement, right? it's lighthearted from a great animated film. WRONG. tons of bts fans in the comments going to war over a bunch of pixels from a movie 😭 i honestly don't know what i expected tbh. here's a few notable comments that made me giggle a bit. "Good for them. It's a fictional group, never gonna be real. Let them just wait a bit. Bts are coming to take it back. Yeah they made it first, but we know who really did all of the hard work" "people are soooo funny like these pixels were inspired by bts keep it cute" "these mfers aren’t real nor a real kpop group this shouldnt actually count like 💀" "This movie will be not existing without BTS impact and everyone and they mama know that. The movie creators got inspiration from BTS activities during Covid time for it. Like to call fictional characters from movie a k-pop group … a joke. P.S. nothing against movie itself" .. you guys... aren't serious right? you can't be THAT sensitive over a single tweet, right? you're acting like the saja boys came through the screen and shot you in the leg 😭 a key point regarding this as well - kpop demon hunters boy group is not solely inspired by bts. they are inspired by a number of popular kpop groups, such as bts, txt, stray kids, ateez, etc. says so right there in their interview. idk. just my opinion, but getting so heated over a bunch of pixels from a silly fun movie is crazy, like it's really not that serious 😭 have some joy and whimsy in your life submitted by /u/slcwdmg [link] [comments]

In my one of my ult groups, although initially I liked all the members a lot a few years back (even despite my biases), now that they have aged and changed as people, I'm starting to dislike some of them :/ I would never be an akgae or send them hate but I don't even wanna follow some of the members anymore. But this is one of those groups where the members are very close and kind of operate like a family so it's like I feel guilty for not liking them all equally. Now with the added bonus of who she is! She looks incredible, sounds great, and looks the happiest she ever has on stage in years. Her stage presence has improved so much. Just saw the thread about bp's new tour here n it got locked Sad to hear only 40% of the set is solo songs. That's less than half! Wth Who agrees the show should have be like 75% solo songs? I saw the setlist and two clips of the new tour where bp title tracks were being sung. They should be at least singing more b-sides and b-sides they never sang before. I'm sorry but not sorry but alot of bp title tracks are boring now. Having the set filled with title tracks feels like all their other tours with the same songs. So, it's official that TWICE and BLACKPINK will both drop new music next week, July 11th. I think this is interesting because their fans are kinda 'rivals' lol! There's lots of competition between blinks and onces. Fanwars will be inevitable but that's part of stan culture. However, as a BLINK, I'm going to be biased and say blackpink will def be performing better on the charts lol. It's gonna be interesting to see! Even tho Blackpink's entire song is already heard by most people, I still do think they will do better because the GP tunes in for bp and (respectively) blinks are a bigger fandom than onces.
