For context, le sserafim and txt both have their concert in LA on 12th September. My parents won't allow me to go to another city so I need to choose one of them. I have seen neither group live and i am a big fan of both of them. So if someone have seen both groups live, can anyone tell me which concert should I attend? submitted by /u/Odd_Entertainer9554 [link] [comments]
I'm new to the Kpop scene. So forgive me for being out of the loop But what's the deal with the negative discourse around Blackpink, specifically on reddit? They're clearly the biggest girl group in the world right now, and individually, they are also among the most popular artists around the world. But you wouldn't think so if you set foot on the kpop subreddits. I'm basing this on threads like this. . And other subreddits like r/kpoppers. So, what's the deal? submitted by /u/LaurieCunningham [link] [comments]
What would your hypothetical first albums (or more if you want) be for a new group based of the boyhood pop genre from TWS What time period would you pick or would you explore several in the same album? What album names, what would the title tracks be, what b sides would you have? What concepts would you go for? Is there a specific theme youād like to explore? What aspect of youth would you emphasise? Also what other musical genres would you like to see explored with this? You can base it of your experience/s or what youād like to see submitted by /u/ARG_obesessed [link] [comments]

When I was still living in my home country, there was a channel that played about six hours of K-pop straight, and I was like, "IS THIS THING NEVER ENDING?" I was really mad, lol. The thing that bothered me most at the time was how some of the videos seemed too silly for people, and I simply wasn't used to seeing people so white (I didn't know they considered them yellow, forgive meš). But sometimes I watched the channel because it was cool to see people dance to a group. My favorite was always "Love Dive," then "Kill This Love," "Shut Down," "DDU-DU-DDU-DU," and "Cupid." The songs I really watched without taking my eyes off the TV were "Christmas Evel" and "Blueprint" by Stray Kids; they were two songs that were actually played every day. Later, I discovered BTS, but my favorite groups were always Stray Kids, Blackpink, and IVE (cut so I didn't know their names at the time, lol) What about y'all? submitted by /u/VFLOWERAL-MININDay [link] [comments]

Hi everyone š I wanted to ask something a bit personal but also heartwarming: has an idol ever āsaved your lifeā or been there for you in a way no one else was? For me, this summer I lost all my friends and honestly felt so alone⦠but having Wonbin from RIIZE to support, watch, and love gave me the strength to keep going. Without him, I donāt know what I wouldāve done. What about you? Did an idol ever change your life or help you through a hard time? Iād love to hear your stories š„ŗš submitted by /u/Purple-Ant-6007 [link] [comments]
Hi š I wanted to share something a bit personal and see if anyone feels the same. I donāt really have friends or much of a social life⦠my days basically revolve around loving my favorite idol (for me, itās Wonbin). He honestly means everything to me, and he feels like my favorite person in the whole world. Call me selfish, but if one day he has a girlfriend, Iād honestly prefer if he didnāt announce it publicly. I know idols are human and can date whoever they want, but itās just the way I feel⦠Of course I know Iāll never actually be with my idol, but still, heās the one who gives me happiness and comfort every day. 𩵠Does anyone else feel the same way about their idol? submitted by /u/Purple-Ant-6007 [link] [comments]
Hey Briizes š So I was just wondering⦠do we actually know anything about Wonbinās pre-debut life? Like, school stories, ex-gf rumors, or just funny little things from before he became an idol? š I swear this is not hate at all, I just think many of us have the same curiosity lol. Of course not looking for made-up stuff, just whatās already out there/known. Letās keep it chill and not turn this into hate pls šāØ submitted by /u/Purple-Ant-6007 [link] [comments]

I donāt know who needs to hear this, but if youāre a solo stan expecting hybe, jype, sm or literally any kpop company to put your faveās solo career above the groupā¦youāre delusional. Flat out delusional. The group is the breadwinner. The group is the brand. The group is the reason your fave even has a platform in the first place. Companies arenāt investing millions into training, debuting, and promoting a group of kids just to throw it all away so karen can get her one member fantasy fulfilled. You think companies are gonna risk alienating the fanbase, sabotaging group cohesion, and cutting into group album sales just to give your fave an extra 3 minutes of solo screen time? Nope. Groups bring in collective money. The groupās name sells out tours, brand deals and endorsements. Solos are the cherry on top, not the main course. Akgaes crying āmy fave deserves more solo workā need to remember: your faveās paycheck, clout, and opportunities are tied directly to the groupās success. And letās be real. If companies started prioritizing solos over groups, kpop would crumble. The second one member gets shoved front and center permanently, you destroy group chemistry and fracture the fandom. Nobodyās dropping $30 on a group album just to watch the company shove one dude down our throats like the other members are backup dancers So yeah, solos are a bonus. Theyāre not a right, theyāre not guaranteed, and theyāre definitely not gonna come at the expense of the group. Solo stans can cry about āmistreatmentā all they want, but at the end of the day, the group will always be king. Period. Cry louder, akgaes. (Just to note, this applies to fully active groups, not senior groups where all the members have already moved on to their own individual activities) submitted by /u/ResponsibleUsual7536 [link] [comments]
Like an idol who gives off the same vibe and concept as wonyoung, elegant, classy, the perfect idol image, but doesnāt get much recognition. submitted by /u/kay738 [link] [comments]
