When TXT performed at Lollapalooza, you all called it a nugu festival, downplaying txt's achievement of being the first K-pop group to headline it. They were the first K pop group to headline Lollapalooza. Now you’re begging your faves to perform there. It’s obvious you’ve always had something against TXT. It’s obvious Kpop stans hate TXT. Accused them of having privileges and Hybe payola, but that’s completely wrong. TXT went through everything, the hardships, the struggles during their trainee days, the immense pressure and they endured it all. Now they’re shining and they’ve earned every bit of it. submitted by /u/txtnmusic [link] [comments]
I would like to bring a few things to people’s attention today. Over the last few days Taehyung has had alot of hate thrown his way due to his involvement in Coca-Cola Korea’s latest ad. (Whom might I add has no monetary association with Coca-Cola Co). I find a lot of it to be fake outrage peddled around by opportunists rather then people actually caring in the slightest. (we all know how k-pop fans can be sometimes). However I do want to point out a few things here today. Most of the products you consume on a daily basis whether it be facial products, food, clothes ect are sourced/ manufactured through unethical means. It is an unavoidable reality with the exception of maybe living off the grid. The phone you carry on a day to day basis contains things such as cobalt and lithium in which even today is sourced significantly through forced child slavery. The point I want to make here is that nobody really has any moral high ground to stand on in this particular matter. I’d be willing to bet as well that most of these type of people are completely oblivious to the things I just mentioned because its virtue signaling plain and simple. I’m not against criticizing people when necessary but sometimes it goes too far. Next time please consider looking inwards. submitted by /u/Odd-Sundae-4251 [link] [comments]

Kenny - Former SM trainee who was also on a survival show called Asia super young but he dropped out due to medical issues. Aito - Also a former SM trainee. He went through an identity crisis and dropped out of idol life to become a dance instructor back in Japan. Joined 1verse after Kenny convinced him. Nathan - He's an ex tiktoker from Arkansas who used to post kpop dance covers. His Southern accent is 🤌 Hyuk & Seok - Both are North Korean defectors. Hyuk grew up very poor and foraged for mushrooms in the forest to sell. He fled when he was 13 all by himself to meet his mom. He made a rap for a school project and his teach encouraged him to pursue it. Singing beetles ceo gave him free rap lessons for a long time. Seok left NK around 2018. Not much is really known about the details or how he joined the company. He was from a wealthier family and was a professional soccer player. submitted by /u/xlov_mother_muti [link] [comments]

I have been thinking this but JYP was not prepared for a global girl group. They were greedy and only after the title to be the 1st company to produce a girl group in the west with the kpop methodology. Hybe X Geffen announced their partnership and audition for a global girl group under a kpop company on november 2021. Following this, JYPE X republic records announced their a2k project(america to korea) for the same purpose on july 2022. Following this trend, you would think dream academy started first. However A2k project premiered on july 2023 on youtube while dream academy premiered on september 2023. It was obvious that jype was rushing to claim that title. Also a2k concluded on sep 2023 the same month dream academy started. VCHA officially debuted on Jan 2024 while Katseye on june 2024. Based on the timeline, you can see that jype was being greedy for that title that's why it felt rushed and i feel like there was no intensive planning made. And right now, I think jyp is trying to revive girlset(formerly vcha) because they are seeing katseye has been doing well. submitted by /u/Party-Confection417 [link] [comments]

Lately, I've read about singers who, despite their excellent vocal technique, have suffered damage, whether with the appearance of polyps, nodules, or hemorrhages on their vocal cords. They've had to undergo long breaks and even surgery. In a way, I feel like good vocal technique isn't generally prevalent in K-pop. Are there idols who, despite knowing they're good vocalists, in your opinion, destroy their vocal cords? Or are there those who have stated themselves that they have suffered damage? submitted by /u/Someonehihi [link] [comments]

What an extremely competitive year. Jay comes in so close to complete the podium for 02z but Taehyun edges everyone else. 🥇Taehyun (Tomorrow x Together) - 20 votes 🥈Sunghoon (Enhypen) - 18 votes 🥉Jake (Enhypen) - 14 votes Past winners: 2003: Sunoo (Enhypen) 2004: Jungwon (Enhypen) 2005: Ni-ki (Enhypen) 2006: Haru (Xlov) 2007: Han Yujin (Zerobaseone) Rules: Duplicates are allowed, but only a comment with the most upvotes will be counted. The article, just as this title states, was about how people were saying it's excessive with how much bodyguards they have and how the bodyguards push people away is cruel. It blows my mind that people don't think about it more. In the article it was about ZB1. If you need to think about why they have security let me remind you, TVXQ orange juice incident where someone who Yunho thought was staff gave him an orange juice with glue in it. The attempt to sabotage the car from A.C.E by putting glue on the door handles which would have caused physical harm. This is a bit lighter but Vixx being kidnapped by a random person to be brought to the princess of the country who was a fan of them. Do i agree with how they are being pushed? Absolutely not. But do i think all this protection is necessary? Sadly yes. Bad people exist with the intention to hurt idols for simply existing. So the article kind of just blew my mind how making sure they are safe from harm is excessive. Thank you for listening to my rant submitted by /u/WookWon [link] [comments]
