1.931. Being a fan is not a full-time job 💀 “I’M TIRED OF WAITING!! I unfollowed them on everything, it’s just not worth it anymore!”

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Why do I see posts every week like: “I’M TIRED OF WAITING!! I unfollowed them on everything, it’s just not worth it anymore!” You talk like being a fan is some kind of obligation. You’re spending months waiting for new releases, refreshing socials daily, killing your own excitement just to catch a glimpse of news. Here’s the thing — if you’re simply following them, you’ll hear about major updates like new songs anyway, probably the same day. But no, y’all are out here stalking every move like there’s a paycheck waiting if you’re the first to know 💀 Then you guilt yourself into liking every release just because you love the artist — and end up burning out over songs you didn’t even enjoy. And finally: “I’M NOT A FAN ANYMORE” — like it’s some life-altering tragedy. Seriously… do y’all remember you have a life outside the internet? submitted by /u/DisastrousOutside787 [link] [comments]

1.934. Out of the big 4, rank them best to worst

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Just curious - I don’t mean for this to be taken too seriously - but out of the four major K-pop companies (JYPE, SME, HYBE, and YGE), how would you rank them from best to worst based on things such as music quality, idol treatment, and consistency? submitted by /u/_Eternalconfusion_ [link] [comments]

1.935. Blackpink doesn’t even seem worth it anymore

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I have been a fan of Blackpink since 2017. Even when fans started unstanning them in 2019/2020 cause of their long ass hiatus I stayed with them because I liked their music and these girls were talented. When they started releasing solo music last year and this year it was even more obvious that the members want to continue making music but YG just locked them in the basement for whatever reason. But alas, I’ve finally realized it’s not worth it anymore and unfollowed them on everything. To be clear, I have unfollowed Blackpink on everything not the individual members because YG doesn’t make money off of their solo stuff (as far as I’m aware). With YG putting literally 0 effort in their new tour, it’s clear that company just cares about money and not about making actual quality music, performances, and videos. Don’t give that shitty company anymore money. Support the girls separately because they actually get profits from those endeavors. submitted by /u/blinkswinks19 [link] [comments]

1.936. Name a group and I’ll reply with their most musically unintuitive title track

I’m really good at predicting chord progressions and guessing where the melody will go, but some songs are just so unintuitive that it would be a nightmare to learn to sing and dance to. submitted by /u/MonacleTopHatPenguin [link] [comments]

1.940. jeongyeon has been getting promoted a lot more this year

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

i only just thought of this after seeing jeongyeon's dance challenge with kiiikiii and their song "i do me". i don't know if people have noticed, but 2025 has been jeongyeon's year so far! she received a lot of attention for the "this is for" album teaser, was a part of the ojogang dance crew, sang with jihyo and chaeyoung for the new "kpop demon hunters" netflix show, has been thriving on her "inspector" youtube channel, and is definitely going to only do more with the upcoming tour and japanese album. i'm honestly just so happy to see her get more recognition. submitted by /u/Jumpy_Site4831 [link] [comments]

1.941. Looking for accounts that upload high-quality fancams

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

With Blackpink and Twice starting their tours this July, I’m looking for Twitter, TikTok, or Instagram accounts that usually post high-quality 4K fancams, especially from front row seats. I can’t attend the concerts myself, and I often find clips only after they’ve been reposted, with the original accounts hard to track or taken down. If you know any good accounts that are likely to upload content from the upcoming shows, please share their names. Thanks! submitted by /u/diego11289 [link] [comments]

1.944. I believe JYPE fumbled Yuna’s popularity

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I’ve been a midzy since debut though I don’t follow them as closely as before. Even when I was younger, I always felt like Yuna would be an amazing center for Itzy because of her energy and how well she looks on camera but I understand why it is Ryujin. However, when I look back on any solo promotions Itzy did and how often they were on variety shows, it doesn’t seem like a lot? They mainly focused on stuff for their channel and as a group, which is good in the beginning, but I don’t think they capitalized on the immense popularity they had and the individual stardom of the members. Yuna has this amazing bubbly energy that works well on stage and on camera. I feel like Itzy’s individual energies are not highlighted enough, outside of their dancing capabilities, mainly due to lack of individual marketing. I genuinely think she could’ve been an IT girl for her generation (I say as a Lia bias) submitted by /u/Used-Refrigerator465 [link] [comments]

1.945. BABYMONSTER Hot Sauce might be a remake of YG boy group 1TYM song called HOT(Teddy is the member of the group btw)

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Basically seeing the little teaser of Hot Sauce and also comparing it side by side it seems like it is really a remake of HOT by 1TYM. It has a little similar beats on the teaser. Alsp yg said on the announcement that Hot Sauce was like old school 90s Hip Hop style and HOT by 1TYM was released on the 90s so it is really a remake This is the song: https://youtu.be/gh2B1RtJbXg?si=cF_uLSE3kht1gKXJ submitted by /u/MitchXWeebyForever [link] [comments]
