We're practically a day and a few hours away from both groups making their long-awaited comeback. One with a single and the other with an album. What do you expect from both groups? What do you imagine the MV, the choreography, the song itself, etc. will be like? We already have some previews from Blackpink due to the concert (although of course, some have been avoiding spoilers). To be honest, I feel like it's a new sound for them, but what do you imagine the MV will be like? The music imagined something from the old west, but the teaser shows a city, so I'm intrigued. In Twice's case, their backsides haven't shown much, but the little that can be heard reminded me a bit of this sound we've been seeing lately with 5th generation groups, and in a way it also reminded me of "Tell Me" by Wonder Girls, so I'm still intrigued. I hate boastful and "I'm better than you" songs. It's so shallow and futile. Okay, fun little songs with a bubblegum chorus can be shallow too, but at least it doesn't try to inspire the listener to feel superior to other people. Clarifying: I'm not really a MY, I just follow what Karina and Winter do a lot because i've really liked them since debut. I was just interested in this topic because i've seen it a lot. I've heard a lot about Giselle's mistreatment/unfair treatment situation and after seeing how they left her out from a solo shot in Japan (her home country) the other day, I was so confused. What is SM (or anyone) gaining from this? Iirc, SM have divisions, but i'm 100% sure Giselle alone brings in more than a lot of other SM idols. It's not like she doesn't bring in any money at all. From what i've seen, her and Ningning have blown up hugely since Drama-Supernova-Armageddon-Whiplash (their biggest eras as well, mind you), so why would anyone feel the need to leave her out and treat her unfairly in comparison to other members? She brings in a lot of publicity and has a lot of fans, so it seems stupid on SM's part. And people can't use the typical, 'SM are scared she'll get so popular and they won't be able to control her' excuse they use on other idols because... They have Karina in that group lol When it cones to styling, I don't really like saying anything bad and unfair about it because sometimes idols do choose their own outfits, and aespa seem like they are in a position to decline an outfit if they really wanted to. But her outfit differences with other members seem like a big reason fans think she's treated unfairly. Is she actually being treated unfairly? And what could possibly even be the reason?
