248. KATSEYE - Time Lapse - Favorite Recent Kdrama/Korean variety shows/etc. OSTs

  • reddit.com language

Now that KATSEYE has finally released their version of Time Lapse for Good Boy OST Part 6, what do you guys think? What are your new favorite Kdrama, Korean variety/reality, etc. OSTs? KATSEYE - Time Lapse, GOGOSING SoundLess Live version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTfUNqPiA4E KATSEYE - Time Lapse, official audio version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uav-2BxMv9U Shout out to one of the most prolific Canucks in Kpop/Korean R&B/etc. these days, Junny, he's done quite a few collaborations and OSTs as of late. Hopefully KATSEYE will work with Paul Blanco too in a future track, he's another Toronto legend in the making (there's actually a bunch of folks from the GTA/416/905/etc. in Kpop/Khiphop/etc.), as his vocals (timbre/tone/color, or really everything) are incredible. It was delightful to hear Yoonchae sing in Korean for Time Lapse, so nice. The Kdrama (with Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, Lee Sang-yi, et alia) is pretty good btw, lots of cool scenes for fellow international fans/non-Koreans/etc. in the show. Anyway, one of my other favorite Original Soundtracks these days is CIFIKA's 미미 (MiMi). Like for vocals and soundscapes, I'm watching Our Movie with Namkoong Min and Jeon Yeo-been, and it's super relatable, like wow, feel so melancholic. One of the best Kdramas in a while, there's 4 more episodes left (12 in total) after today! One of my legit favorites in recent memory (it just released 3 weeks ago and I've been replaying/repeating/looping/etc. it every day) for all of Kdramaland/Cdramaland/etc. is that ending scene of Our Movie Episode 3, Jeon Yeo-been opens the frosted glass door, and then you hear the OST, CIFIKA's 미미 (MiMi): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7xVcD9c1u0 (it encapsulates everything, absolutely beautiful, c'est la vie, pour toujours) And it's hauntingly ethereal, vocals soundscape heaven. ~네가 남긴 한참을 숨어 있던 글자만으로. 알 수 있어 우리가 나눈 모든 밤들과 별들...~ ~네 의미가 닿을 듯 말 듯 하지만...~ ~Your hidden words echoes in my head, I can't get any closer...~ Beautiful, amazing, magnificent. Marvelous fit for the whole show's tone, the slice of life bliss! submitted by /u/MNLYYZYEG [link] [comments]

249. Karina talked about her recent controversial IG post

  • reddit.com language

I went out with the staff to buy clothes in the cold weather, and I posted something to communicate with the fans. But then I got a phone call and immediately deleted the post. I realized I was really ignorant about things like that. Even if I'm overseas, it's something I should’ve known, so I felt I needed to be more mindful and study more. I think I was too ignorant. Anyway, it's true that I posted it and had to deal with it, but what really hard was seeing the harm it caused to the members. submitted by /u/tresnosliramu22 [link] [comments]

250. Which idol has the most compelling story on their survival show appearance?

  • 2 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

This is in a sense of if this story were to be made into a movie, it would absolutely be a hit in box office. Or really just such a great journey to watch from beginning to the end (whether it is worth it or not) Sunoo's journey in I-land is nothing short of a roller coaster of emotions from beginning to the end. He started of as one of the very first contestants to ever enter I-land. On every performance he constantly performed super well and consistently always earn praises from the judges and the producers. However due to the show's brutal format of the trainees having to vote each other out who they should send to the ground, he gets the end of the stick so many times. Long story short it is an absolute rollercoaster to watch, going from up to down from up to down all over again. But the thing that really made him stood out, is just his pure resilience and positivity. Never once does he ever harbor any ill feeling towards any of the other contestants, even if they were the ones who voted him out to the ground in the first place. This kind of positivity and innocence is so one of a kind that no one can really dislike him for any reason, he is just that resilient. He came very close to not debuting due to global votes dropping right at the final, but he was saved as a producer's pick, completing Enhypen as the future stars they are today. 253. It's really tough for me to like idols knowing that everything I see is heavily edited and fake.

  • 2 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

We really don’t know these idols. At all. It's kinda wild how people still talk about idols like they know them personally. Like “____ would never do that” or “she’s such a sweet soul, I can tell.” nope, you can't tell shit. You’re just projecting a personality onto someone you’ve only seen through variety shows, choreographed performances and livestreams. All of which is heavily edited and calculated. Every interview answer is rehearsed. Hell even the quirky moments might just be clip farming. Not saying that ALL of them are bad people, just that we don’t actually know them. K-pop is especially good at creating that illusion of closeness. You feel like you’re in some parasocial friendship when in reality, it’s a business. Fanservice, fan signs, birthday lives, all of it. Which makes fanwars so much more crazier to me like dawg 💀 chill before defending someone like your life depends on it, or demonizing someone else based on 5 seconds of out-of-context footage. You have absolutely no clue about who the idol really is as a person, just like how you don't know that I goon to furry futa twice a day. submitted by /u/myepicname1637 [link] [comments]

254. I love the sets used in K-pop music videos.

  • 2 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

This is just my personal opinion, but I prefer when K-pop idols perform in real sets with a bit of VFX, rather than just dancing in front of a green screen. I also love that you can see how much effort the artists and crew put into creating the sets for the idols. submitted by /u/Nervous_Emu_2233 [link] [comments]

We’re halfway through 2025, how’s everyone feeling about the Big 4 girl groups so far?SM with Hearts2Hearts YG’s with BabyMonster, JYP with NMIXX, and HYBE with ILLIT. NMIXX might still be 4th gen, but the others are part of the 5 generation. Still, I’m including NMIXX since JYP hasn’t debuted a new girl group yet Curious to hear what y’all think about their performance and overall presence so far. submitted by /u/matt_vaghn [link] [comments]

256. What porn do you think your favs goon to?

  • 2 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

It's incredible to think that since idols are humans as well, they're gooners too, just like us. My personal favorite headcanon about Bang-chan is that he lowkey loves getting off to furry futa but is ashamed of himself. Guilty pleasure at its finest lol. I relate to that because I goon to furry futa just like my goat. submitted by /u/myepicname1637 [link] [comments]

258. Ningning saying she's not a nice person but she seems so nice

I love aespa's music and saw them live noy long ago. I've recently been trying to get in to them and learn about the group. I've been watching some funny videos, weverse videos and vlogs. I still need to watch more but i was watching them on knowing bros episode and ningning said she's not a nice person and was proud to say it. I was so shocked because throughout aespa videos i watched she seemed so sweet and nice. I wonder why she thinks she's not a nice person. Throughout my life I've tried sooooo hard to be a nice person and ningning saying that brang a new perspective for me. I'm sure she is nice to her members otherwise they would dislike each other and they dont. people in life try so hard to be nice and call themselves a nice person so this was a culture shock to me in way. What's everyone's opinion about this maybe she just said it to look cool and edgy? I'm sure she tries to treat people well and be nice otherwise nobody would like her. submitted by /u/SlowDelay8831 [link] [comments]

That song is sooo good and even better live, i mean jimin is not playing with those vocals, and obviously He is the best performancer in kpop according to me, the dance on that song, the visual the grace he have is soo soo good. But i never see people talking about it at all, either they be talking about filter or like crazy but Lie is soo criminally underrated. submitted by /u/dazaiyoupoorsoul [link] [comments]

266. I wish i-dle would step up their b-side game

  • 2 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Don't take this as hate, I like i-dle's music. I just feel like they are very title track heavy with rare b-side hits. Like most of the time they have one good title track and maybe one good b-side per album/ep (even though I did not like wife or girlfriend) I do give them a chance but their bsides rarely stand out and I forget them super fast. There are some I like : villain dies, dahlia, already But the three latest albums (the ones with superlady, queencard and good thing) I feel like the b-sides were pretty mediocre HOWEVER if some of them stood out to you recommendations are welcome! Again no hate, I am NOT saying they always have bad b-sides just kind of one of those groups with quantity over quality especially with the latest releases. Groups like le sserafim, illit and red velvet have almost always multiple good bsides if not no skip. submitted by /u/Impressive_Cod9892 [link] [comments]
