I don't know if this topic was already discussed or how people could react to this, but i genuinely can't stand all of the bad songs were getting lately. A lot of groups had their worst comebacks ever with this year's releases. I will be honest and give my personal examples of this (you can give yours too! Feel free): Twice with this is for, BP with Jump, Aespa with Dirty Work, Enhypen with Loose/Bad Desire, Ive with Rebel Heart, I-dle with Good Thing... And probably many, many more. This songs leave you with a feel of disappointment, they all feel really bland and boring, almost without some sort of soul for me. Some of them are straight bad songs. Obviously there were some very good songs, but I feel like the number of bad songs was disproportionate to what was usual. Please, be kind while sharing your opinion and try to respects other's too! (Also, English isn't my first language, so sorry for all the gramatical mistakes that are probably here lol 🥹) submitted by /u/NeighborhoodTiny1431 [link] [comments]
I discovered this cover yesterday and to say that I'm obsessed would be an understatement lol. Nothing attracts me more faster than a hyped and energetic performance. This is BOYNEXTDOOR covering Bling-Bang-Bang-Born submitted by /u/Adventurous-Dog5560 [link] [comments]
idk how true this will be but that is my opinion from a non-elf who only started listening to suju with express mode their new comeback and i am working my way back through their music backlog. now i like them, i watched killing voice and some promotion videos. i think i will be a casual listener or casual fan and i will be getting the album soon. for context i only stan 4th and 5th gen groups but i also listen to a few 2nd and 3rd gen i just read through the other post saying suju are mad and suju fans are angry because they didn't win anything or that they had no promotion. but i was catching up and looking at all the promotion and there is a lot even on youtube. they even went killing voice. meanwhile i have a friend who is exol and another friend who is shawol and they were talking about how their groups dont get much even with shinee who did get a comeback but only a single. shinee don't even have a world tour while suju always goes on one. i realized while listening to them that suju always get full albums. there is a lot of suju stuff for this comeback for 2 weeks long, while other sm groups get barely anything super junior are a 2nd generation group they won't be super active and everywhere like my favs are for example. i have read they are mistreated but i don't think sm was sabotaging them for this comeback. sm just doesnt care but that is the case for all the groups. music shows and awards are not a priority. even without the awards it is a 100% certified slapper. groups that came after them are long gone or inactive or wont ever have as many comebacks as suju. i wish my favs survive as long as suju does where they are so popular and loved they dont need to worry about charts anymore. even my own friends are jealous that suju are still active because their sm favorites (shinee tvxq exo red velvet snsd) arent getting regular comebacks anymore if im wrong let me know why but this is a perspective from a nonelf submitted by /u/throwawayfriend2006 [link] [comments]
They also trademarked New GG which I dont understand why but it's just cube things. But XOGEANS? submitted by /u/sunshineofkindness [link] [comments]

Im pretty new to KPOP, mostly listen to girl groups atm, tried aespa since they were all gorgeous but the lyrics for an american were too cringe. Lsf i stuck with n still like em. now im trying ITZY So, I've listened to a few casually here and there. and 1 was wannabe since i really liked ryujin's bit n thought it was catchy. BUT i was watching one of their performances with choreo that i thought was cool in KILL SHOT. does the production remind anyone of daft punk?! i like it. i was wondering if they had more songs similar since i do kinda get the vibe even just a little from wannabe as well submitted by /u/No-Investment-7986 [link] [comments]
I like both of them. Yeah honestly I didn't like the jump mv but the song is good and " this is for" is good too, i don't know why but that song makes me feel nostalgic, the mv is colourful and that's how mv were used to be . I wanna know your opinion. submitted by /u/mystical_0603 [link] [comments]
So I want to maybe get back into kpop but I don't know where to start and honestly I'm a bit scared of the community, I've heard it can be pretty intense and I'm easily overwhelmed by "controversies" etc (even tho I know there's not much real controversies in Kpop). I would love to have recommendations of girl groups, the least "controversial or problematic" possible and with a good community, one with not a fanbase too crazy and fun members if possible! I really don't know much about the kpop community except that it can be a bit intense so I hope it's not a weird thing to ask! submitted by /u/udonyadon [link] [comments]

Today marks one month since the release of Kpop Demon Hunters. Three months ago, I made a post about the movie, and people were trashing the summary, calling it cringe or claiming the production would be bad because of TheBlackLabel. Now look at the reviews for the movie and its songs. It even broke some Kpop records this year. You can argue whether it’s a Kpop group or just an OST, but it was still produced by Kpop producers. My only advice is please judge (or trash) something after it’s released whether you end up liking it or not. Same goes for Kpop songs. If you already know a company/group isn’t your cup of tea, just move on and find something you enjoy. 😉 submitted by /u/NatureSimple729 [link] [comments]
You can also give your group a creative name, what would their concept/overall sound be like? etc (pls don't report my posts if your faves aren't here... this takes a lot of time to make. ) submitted by /u/KpopDivas [link] [comments]
I followed NCT dream in 2020-2023, years where the group hit its stride music and concept wise in my opinion. Hello Future, Candy, Beatbox, and so on, was a generation run in my opinion, and I don't think it's a surprise that ISTJ is their best-selling era as a result. The bsides were no slouches, either. Now I can imagine why they want to move on from the youthful concept, but the hard left turn recently starting with Smoothie is so jarring. Group progressing their sound is good, but I'm not sure it had to be like this. Just my two cents. submitted by /u/Recent-Pension1179 [link] [comments]

i was scrolling through twitter and came across blinks spreading the vid of jimin in Paris claiming its recent and that he was doing drugs (obv not true). Got me wondering was this actually a big deal when it came out in 2019, did ppl actually talk abt it in korea or was it just intl antis dragging him? submitted by /u/jmrmjksgvjinjh [link] [comments]
First, she’s charismatic and bubbly like Kaori. She’s also musically inclined, and there are even rumors that she can play the violin. I can’t believe I only thought of this now, as someone who cried over that anime and as a ONCE. submitted by /u/why_dmn [link] [comments]
