So as the title says, I want to size down my collection a bit since right now I only stan like 2 groups. I have albums of groups I don’t really follow anymore so I’d like to sell them or just give them away. I tried announcing them for sale in my city but there are not many kpop fans where I live. What should I do? Where should I post or sell them? Can I just sell them to thrift shops or something? submitted by /u/Marandry [link] [comments]
The sound is still more mature of course, but these two songs are so reminiscent of the old Twice sounds! Mars is their quintessential bright, hopeful music. My friend called it mid-era Twice and I find that perfect. It would slot neatly in the Feel Special - Fancy - Alcohol-Free run of albums! It captures the feel of Twice in the summer. Seesaw falls in a bit of the later. I'd place it around the sounds they were using in the ICSM-Talk that Talk-FoL eras. It's mature Twice but before their US run, for the people missing that. I think part of what impresses me about this album is how they so seamlessly weave their old sounds with the new ones. It's not a jarring jump from where they were but is instead a demonstration of their growth. They touch on their roots even as they reach forward towards the future. submitted by /u/BlueThePineapple [link] [comments]
I remember seeing that singer Anne-Marie had one of the most-streamed songs on Melon or one of those platforms. Are there any non-Korean groups or singers who dominate the charts thanks to their popularity in the country? submitted by /u/Someonehihi [link] [comments]

Kpop adjacent I know. Katseye is blowing up currently, as in I've heard Gabriella multiple times on the radio this week. They're getting a lot of appreciation by both locals and Kpop fans. That being said, I just KNOW people like around a month from now or even earlier will find something dumb to be upset at. I think when you're like me (unfortunately lol) and you're online a lot, you just start to notice the pattern: GIRL (important part here) group becomes popular, gets appreciated by the overal public or in fact gets seen as the 'superior' group around, fans drag them into every conversation in an uplifting way or to put another girl group that's currently being hate trained, then this group suddenly starts becoming 'too' popular and fans that stan other groups start feeling threatened and so the hate train begins... I just know it's coming lol and so I guess I'm just here to remind y'all of this tiresome cycle that girl groups unfortunately are the main victim of. It not happening would be great but like has it ever been that way? submitted by /u/Due_Improvement_5699 [link] [comments]
I've always been curious as to whether some idols play instruments in the studio. I know a lot of Kpop Idols play instruments in general (which I think is really cool!), but just curious if there's ever been a instance of a idol playing a instrument while recording material for a album or EP. submitted by /u/Lopsided_Reveal7410 [link] [comments]
lily's the vocalist!! now onto the dancer :) name whatever gen 4 or gen 5 idol you'd like, that fits into the category (male or female) please don't post the same idol twice, and instead upvote comments with the idol you'd like after 24 hours the voting is closed and I'll post for the next category ^ submitted by /u/hyun_chuu [link] [comments]
Not dance performances specifically but you know those little acting skits they do to introduce/close out the concept/lore for that award show performance? submitted by /u/-puca- [link] [comments]
This can be male or female. Preferably from 3rd generation to 5th generation because im not that familiar with 2nd generation . I really like Japanese idols especially in the kpop seen cause most of the groups consist or few if not any of them. So I just wanted to check out more of them out. So what are tour opinions and suggestions? submitted by /u/Fast-Championship694 [link] [comments]
No doubt mine is Han Jisung. Who is yours? submitted by /u/Suitable-Stay-6696 [link] [comments]
Nmixx- know about me, BLACKPINK - jump, twice- this is for, Jennie - like Jennie, jisoo - earthquake, Irene and seulgi - tilt, aespa- whiplash and perhaps more they all have desaturated mvs with grey and skin tones. I think it could be something related to fashion or arts world, what's trending right now, oh yea ive- attitude as well, literally almost similar in concepts or at least in colour tones. Colourful mvs are not out, there are idols doing different stuff but damn so many big names with just similar aesthetics. I was watching jump mv and that was my last straw, i thought "when did kpop get to bland?" It's kinda sad. Now don't think creativity is dead, viviz just dropped a very pretty mv, but why do most companies just follow trends, even all day project - fame is similar in aesthetics all the concrete and silver. These companies got all the budget, they've got the money, the mvs are actually very nice to watch, most do the songs justice, but they are all so similar. I noticed the same thing with making one member really pale with blonde hair, which is fine in groups i guess, but I kinda miss those super crazy colour eras of kpop. submitted by /u/seokjinseyebrows [link] [comments]
As the title says, what are your favorite birth names from idols? Mine: Park Chaeyoung aka ROSÉ also I love Jennie full name; Jennie Ruby Jane I lowkey think Ruby or Jane would have made a great stage name for Jennie submitted by /u/jdpm1991 [link] [comments]
I mean, so much for farming streams. submitted by /u/minbeforeyoo [link] [comments]
I'm sorry, but jeongyeon's physique does not match with the others from the group. I've watched her fancam and I think she herself knows it, she looks uncomfortable and when she's centering there's less applauses compared with the other girls. I know it's not her fault she's fat, she has cushing syndrome so that makes it harder for her to lose weight, but the fans are always trying to cope by saying: "she's not fat" or whatever... submitted by /u/National-Track4995 [link] [comments]
this is my favorite part of their choreography, it’s so fun! full video on my dance page 😊 : https://youtu.be/TFrQT-2a0EA?si=maMyPI0POIWk7z9K submitted by /u/Sad-Mess9669 [link] [comments]
I was dumb when I first became a fan I believed: Seventeen had 4 hidden members And Hoshi was Japanese (no idea why I thought that ðŸ˜ðŸ˜) Seonghwa from Ateez was a woman. No idea why I thought that, but I love him he is my bias Felix was the Maknae because of what he looked like but I took it back when I saw gods menu (Became a stay during s class) Aespa are Ai And Niki from Enhypen was the oldest These are so dumb, no idea why I thought these ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ submitted by /u/ClickMelodic8652 [link] [comments]
This is not hate. It's an observation, call me out if you think I'm wrong. I'm more than happy for people to state their opinions like I have. Honestly I like this group but I tried but I just can’t with Annie, she does not give nice girl vibes at all. Her face can go from dead straight/almost pissed off looking when Woochan says something she doesn’t like, then smiling in the next to cover up. It’s like watching someone constantly performing, too aware of her ‘image’. And the dynamic with her and Woochan in some of the content is just a NO. In their studio choom BTS, there is a part with Annie, Youngseo and Woochan and he looks so sad, his head is down, after Annie cuts him out by saying something like ‘you’re not part of this.’ And Youngseo agreeing to save her own skin. It's not cute. I’ve seen this dynamic a few times and it’s so off putting. There’s an another part Woochan jokingly (unjokingly) says he was scared of her but his face is dead straight and even Youngseo looks off as she tries to save the situation, the whole thing is WEIRD. submitted by /u/Careless-Pie-2390 [link] [comments]
It feels like most posts here are just asking people to name a song, an idol, a group, or to share their favorites. I enjoy those sometimes, but it’s a bit repetitive. Do you ever feel the same way? Would you rather see more creative posts, or do you like how it is now? submitted by /u/Standard_Basil_5269 [link] [comments]
