I really don't know what went through people's mind when Itzy released Sneakers, like I get it, you were expecting the Royal concept, ok its sad, you didn't get what you expected, but BOY that was One of the BIGGEST HATE TRAINS I have ever seen?! We have to make 2 things very clear: hating is useless! Like ok you don't like that genre of song, what happen to good manners?! "OMG no we must defend everyone! XYZ rights!" And then the same people hate a girl group so bad One of the members was on hiatus for almost 1 YEAR! And also, let's not forget the fact that all I saw was "Old Itzy is way better" or "Bring old Itzy back!" Old Itzy was back?! WITH SNEAKERS?! Mind you their debut was Dallas Dallas, first comeback was Icy! Not Wannabe, In the morning, etc? Im not saying that the songs were bad, but Sneakers had alot of Icy vibes, the playful aura and the lyrics which are clear metaphors!! Im bringing this because I saw alot of comments saying "Finally old Itzy is back" "I might be an Midzy again" in their recent comeback related posts, Yk, true fans, even if they disliked a song, don't hate their favs! Or should I say, no One should hate anyone, it doesnt solve anything! I hope they Shine and the hate stops! submitted by /u/Yuna_buns [link] [comments]
NewJeans who are widely known for their nostalgic throwback 90's concept and their use of Baltimore Club mixed with electropop and of course the prominent genre New Jack Swing where their whole name came from in the first place. FRNK made their biggest hit "OMG" but the rest of his songs were just B-sides. 250 made basically all hits but they were lead singles so got more promotion like their hits "Ditto" and "Attention". Many k-pop fans say FRNK's production is geared more towards westerners and say 250's is geared more towards South Koreans but after watching the video what do you think? submitted by /u/p0pcultured [link] [comments]
Let's see if you're truly a 3rd Gen fan. Try to guess the MV based on the random screenshots I took from it. Category: 3rd Gen only, Big 4 groups includes their subsidiary labels and sub-units (no bands and duos included), ranging from 2012 to 2019. Each group will feature only one MV. Some of them are extremely difficult if you're not a fan of the group or unfamiliar with the MV. Let's see how many you can get right without the hints below. submitted by /u/NatureSimple729 [link] [comments]

Just something I’ve been curious about. I’ve noticed that in a lot of idol content like vlogs, behind-the-scenes clips, and variety shows for male groups, the staff working closely with them (like camera crew, directors, etc.) are often women. At first, I assumed those roles would mostly be filled by men, especially when they involve physically running around with cameras or being in close contact with the idols. But I keep seeing a lot of female staff doing those jobs, which honestly is cool and impressive. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with women working in those roles, in fact, I love seeing it! But from the company’s point of view, I would’ve thought they might choose male staff instead to avoid unnecessary drama from overly possessive or toxic fans who can get weirdly jealous or start rumors when female staff are seen too close to idols. So it made me wonder , do companies intentionally hire more female staff because they think female staff can better understand what the (mostly female) fanbase wants to see in the content? Like they can spot the tiny gestures, reactions, or facial expressions that make us lose our minds 😂 I mean, let’s be real—we girls are experts at noticing every little detail about our faves. A male staff member might miss those golden moments that fans would totally freak out over! Would love to hear thoughts, especially if anyone has industry insight or has noticed the same thing! submitted by /u/BOOSHUA_17 [link] [comments]
I have been a fan of lisa for 4 years and i just noticed that lilies as a fandom is slowly losing it’s original spirit. It is saddening that lisa released alter ego, such a good concept, she gave it her all with all the mvs, collabs, appearances in oscars coachella etc. but lilies seem to not have the energy anymore to stream or atleast be more vocal in supporting her. More lilies are engaging in nonsense rage bait things that sometimes they are the ones who are attracting more hate to lisa. Not to mention the obsession of talking about the guy she is allegedly dating. Like i dont like the guy but i will not also create tweets or things that talks about that guy and just garner additional hate to fave. I guess to fellow lilies who will read this what are your thoughts , how can we revive the spirit of our fandom. So sad to see how we were one of the strongest fanbases and see it slowly lose it’s spirit. submitted by /u/Money-Key-1033 [link] [comments]

So it's not really a thing to have "deep voice girl" for GGs like it is in BGs, so I'll just ask which female idols do you think have deeper voices or are comfortable with a lower register? My selections are J (Stayc), Sullyoon (NMIXX), Moonbyul (Mamamoo), and Yuqi (Idle) submitted by /u/SageSageofSages [link] [comments]
I love enhypen but why does it sound like my headphones have water damage 😭 I was so hyped for this comeback but when I listened to “Bad Desire” and it got to the chorus it sounded crunchy like I just stuck my head under water and the song was playing in the background. I had to check my headphones to make sure they weren’t broken. The song had the perfect everything and then there’s that chorus. The members vocals are top tier so wtf are the producers thinking by adding whatever the hell that crunchy layer was over the chorus? (I don’t know what to call it🤷♀️) and this isn’t me saying that the song itself is bad cuz it’s not, it’s just that one part that pulls me out of it. I need to know what y’all think because I can’t be the only one. submitted by /u/Forsaken_Bend_7170 [link] [comments]
It's not that they're there only because they have a deep voice, but their voice is notably deeper than others in the group and is often a point of focus within and sometimes outside the fandom. It's been a thing since The Temptations, and I'm glad it's stuck around over the decades. My selections are Felix (Stray Kids), Jackson (GOT7), Taecyeon (2PM), and RM (BTS) submitted by /u/SageSageofSages [link] [comments]

I don't know if anyone posted here, but that mixed group all day project, it raises a huge suspicion if it is something fixed. Well, first of all they are quite random people and random main careers. I think it's just to introduce the "trainees" present at TBL to create a certain hype around it. I've seen a lot of comments from people feeling a bit suspicious about the group. The company's use of "Project" and "Special Collaboration" makes it sound like it's not a permanent setup, but more of a temporary one. It reminds me a bit of Co-Ed School – a mixed group that eventually splits into separate girl and boy groups, with everyone forgetting they were ever together. Edit: Now I remembered what reminded me, it was YG's NONAGON, which included Bobby from Ikon, Lisa from BP and some models to promote a brand. Any time an aespa show video pops up on my yt, i cant help but notice the lack of energy. I even started looking more at their hands and i did notice that there are hands dont have pronounced movement, more like sausages. This doesnt help with the fact that they rarely sing live either. Im not making this post to dog pile on them, aespa is my ult group. submitted by /u/somebod_w [link] [comments]

I'm rewatching season three and honestly love how she makes every guest feel so comfortable. She’s hilarious but always has something postive to say. I just wish she would invite more actors or other foreign guests. Who would you love to see on her show next? submitted by /u/cremebrule00 [link] [comments]
