127s are coming out with banger after banger solos last year and this year... Like I really thought Mark's First Fruit would be my all time favorite album of 2025, then Doyoung's Soar came out and really challenged that, PLUS Yuta's solo single Twisted Paradise, PLUS Haechan is getting ready for his release, after Taeyong's banger streak of Love Theory, Shalala, Tap.... It's crazy. Like this amount of talent coming out of ONE group is really crazy. And how different all of them sound. They all have really developed, polished identities as artists, they're all executing their releases at such a high level..... It's CRAZY! I'm brand new to following them as an stan and I always heard that theres subfandom beef in ncity but after getting deep into it, I can't believe how bad it actually is. These akgaes are delusional. Like these akgaes don't appreciate how much strength each member is getting from the core group, if they have dreams of their bias making it as a successful soloist... like you're not gonna get the same lives, variety content, selcas, you're not gonna get the same promotion or success. "SM doesn't support them anyway" girl you are delusional. Can you point to any idol that left for solo pursuits and had the same success??? Like am I forgetting something here?? I can only think of one: Kang Daniel. It's just crazy to see all this talent being almost systemically sabotaged by akgaes from their own group... if the subfandoms just supported the members and each other, 127 would be so powerful. Their 10 year is coming up and there's just this rancid cradlerot in their fanbase for nooooooo reason. Like every single one of these albums are worth bragging about, NCTzens could ALL be bragging about each of these albums instead of arguing about the degree of artistic integrity they imagine went into them... but okay I guess.... fighting for no reason and not supporting the members is good too..... π submitted by /u/snowoftheyear [link] [comments]
Hey guys. Moved to the area recently and looking for friends to hit up kpop events and concerts and just hang out. If there's a group would love to be added and if not, would love to start one! submitted by /u/highclass_lowlif3 [link] [comments]

I just watched I-dle's MMA 2024 , where they're wearing these golden fits which are absolutely gorgeous and they all looked really beautiful especially Shuhua but they looked kinda off with the songs they performed. Fits looked good with latata , hann and lion (they were made for lion) part but after that I felt like they really didn't suit rest of the performance especially with Fate. I never expected to see fate in golden fits lol. I'm not complaining cause I loved the performance it's just an observation hope no one gets offended lol. submitted by /u/Adventurous-Dog5560 [link] [comments]
(can't post on enhypen sub due to account age or something, also don't know any other big sub that would allow pictures so bear with me) Could you please check how your German ticketmaster ticket page looks on mobile? Especially if you have a VIP ticket? I am trying to buy a ticket and the seller sent me a video. This is a screenshot from it. It just doesn't sit right with me, idk, why does it say "Seated" for example if it's GA? Even though it was a convincing video, the design of the page just looks sketch to me. I want to confirm my suspicions and maybe make other people aware if they encounter scam. I would also appreciate an example of how it is supposed to look like (put a watermark over it to protect others from scammers) Thank you! PS I put a doodle over the image so that no one would use it to scam others. https://preview.redd.it/7nl50aigoc7f1.png?width=562&format=png&auto=webp&s=b0d6aeb9c890e2a239e6d6579b7a219d5bab275a submitted by /u/PitchOk1315 [link] [comments]
Iβll start with this one. I canβt believe that this really happened. Itβs txt (here: Soobin on the right and Kai on the left) on inkigayoβs snack bar. When I watched this the first time, I couldnβt trust my eyes and had to close all social media to process it. I felt too delulu and had to touch some grass. What are k-Pop moments that also made you reconnect to society to avoid getting delulu? submitted by /u/nashi-4 [link] [comments]
I had this idea obviously before the boy group audition video, but today on my way to work I passed an investment company that had a huge money laundering scandal. They have since been liquidated but that scandal has stuck so deeply in people's minds that even the new company that is now situated in their old building, people avoid with a ten foot pole. So...imagine ador? It would do them very much good to rebrand because at the end of the day although hybe is a corporation and not a label people tend to group the idols for marketing purposes. Just my thoughts, yours? submitted by /u/AggravatingListen188 [link] [comments]
In the announcement video for next monster (and baemon, BP, and treasure upcoming activites) the man said theres 4 prioritized and skilled trainee teams at the moment 2 boys and 2 girls and next monster is apparently one of the female trainee teams, but since they're rolling out member introductions now it seemingly confirms that their team will be the one debuting. This makes me wonder what's gonna happen to the other trainee team? Are they just going to eventually leave YG one by one like future 2ne1 did or is there even a hope that YG debuts 2 new girl groups in the near future? The other team is made up of older girls I'm pretty sure so they dont have the luxury to wait around for years like next monster does. I've heard that having multiple trainee teams are common in kpop companies but I'm confused on why he even told us the existence of this other team (giving them minimal exposure when we dont even know who they are) when next monster is seemingly locked in. With the loona style roll out they're doing I doubt they're planning on doing a winner/ikon where both the trainee groups are publicly competing to debut but both eventually do or a treasure where both teams merge since both situations have a survival show element to them. Off topic but since he said a boy group is next on debuting in the company are the 2 trainee boy teams competing for this debut privately or did he perhaps already choose which team (probably the one made of younger boys) to debut already and its just a waiting game now submitted by /u/Cerbzzzzzz [link] [comments]
We know that "It's Live" performances benefit from post-processing. Music show live encores seem to be subject to evasion: let the best singers in the group sing, and the others be "preoccupied" by doing their "thank you" gesture to fans (e.g., putting on cute animal ears, etc.) or some other on-stage goofing-around. I noticed that the weakest singer in a group recently had a very convenient mic problem during an encore on a music show. I doubt the artists knew it was going to happenβbut their manager and the show's production team? I mean...come on. Also, the audience's noise drowns-out some of the artists' singing, further obscuring their voices. Same with concerts, where there's also more often than not a background trackβMR or LAR, faded in and out depending on who's supposed to be singing. That makes it possible for the best singers to show they're singing live (e.g., by briefly pausing their singing), so that the audience can thereby believe all of the members on stage are singing live. It seems that, when it comes to structured programming, only "Tiny Desk Korea" (a local version of NPR's series) is where you can hear idols' unprocessed, live voices not subject to evasive tricks (e.g., convenient "technical issues"), MR/LAR, etc. NMIXX did great at "Tiny Desk Korea": https://youtu.be/bm-p-3Eh3G4 Is there any other way to hear idols' singing voices in a show format without any processing or other tricks? submitted by /u/freeblackfish [link] [comments]
Hey Guys! I think most of us in life might have been obsessed with someone or something at some point in life. Mine is, I recently looped back into the habit of consuming Kpop content after the BTS members were discharged(ik suga is left) and Kdrama content(either through reels or watching dramas) for plot and the extraordinary cinematography(definitely also for their lethal facecards)! This started as a curiosity about them few years back and became a habit of only and I repeat only consuming korean content. I somehow broke the loop and everything seemed good until they got discharged and their content is all over the media again. I'm not saying I don't want see their content. I indeed get emotional and inspired by watching some of their interviews/live and I respect them as artists. But, all the factors put together it has that feeling of warmth while consuming the Kpop/Kdrama content. Also the thriller or other genres of Kdramas are also mad good! Feels good but it feels like I'm going into that rabbit hole. Can't justify myself from stopping. Please leave your thoughts on this!! submitted by /u/Former_Human_310 [link] [comments]

I was thinking that New Jeans is the strongest girl group on stage in terms of overall music, vocals, dance, visuals (pre How Sweet) . If I had to make a custom group that was close or stronger I would choose: Gfriend Yuju (Strong vocals) Sinb (Strong dance) Eunha (Balance of vocals and dance) These 3 from Navillera/ Rough era, when they were considered the female BTS Yunjin (Strong dance, strong vocals, big stage presence) I kind of struggled, I was thinking between An Yujin (Strong vocals, fun/ cheeky stage presence) , Wendy ( Strong vocals), WooAh Nana (Strong dance, fun stage presence) Concepts: Smarter, Easy, Pierrot, a light hiphop Genz theme. Sometimes serious but mostly fun Ive seen some strong talent from Izna, Illit (they dance well in shorts, I think theyre given weaker choreo than theyre capable of), Meovv, strong vocals from Nmixx. But overall I dont think there is a group on the elite elite level as New Jeans. But I think weβll have to wait and see from the newer idols. I think if NJs didnt go on hiatus, and they kept making songs like Super shy, OMG, ditto, hype boy, they could have left a legacy like Red Velvet (the Goat GG) So if you were to make a custom GG, who would you put in? What concept? Would you focus on a specific niche, dance, vocals, visuals? Or have a balanced group? Let me know submitted by /u/BigBanditxoxo [link] [comments]

ββββββββββββββββ Hey everyone, today, girl group ILLIT returns with their third mini-album. I've been excited to see what the group will bring to the table with this new release. I've been enjoying the group's music as they've been bringing a playful vibe to the table that keeps pulling me back for more. I can't wait to see what this album brings to the table and see if the group keepsthat playful vibe or did they switch things up. ββββββββββββββββ https://preview.redd.it/2e0ehouwyb7f1.jpg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=25c2a6ea237aebfd45ec453acd710a4de1c1dbf7 Bomb - ILLIT Little Monster Little Monster is the opening for this record bringing in this synth melody that blends wonderfully with the vocals. The smooth drum machine is another thing that helps to bring out the smooth vibe. The hook has a bit of a glitchy vibe that works wonderfully with the performance the members bring to the table. After you hear the chorus a few times it will start to get stuck in your head which I'm not upset about. I still have the synth melody stuck in my head after hearing this tune this morning. I'm glad this album opened up in a great direction. https://preview.redd.it/29bln9i5zb7f1.png?width=996&format=png&auto=webp&s=2c1a69bf9b1469e80963446be00171bd9d95326e βββββββββ βββββββ λΉλ €μ¨ κ³ μμ΄ (Do the Dance) The title track and the longest in the album is something that has been stuck in my head like crazy. The song goes for thisbouncy vibe that fits perfectly with the group's sound. I love how funky the beat is which gives this tune a 70s disco vibe. The sweet vocals from the members are something that drives this tune home. The hook hits hard as its repetitive vibe will have you coming back for more. The more I hear this tune the more the melody hits me. During the verses, we get this thumping vibe that adds to the overall soundscape. I'm glad the group has released a 3-minute title track one that works wonderfully with them. https://preview.redd.it/dgg4hzdbzb7f1.jpg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1e5e1134c12b5c847faf82b034ed659ba5f0dc32 βββββββββ βββββββ 3. jellyous jellyous is another infectious tune as the slick vibe helps to bring out a funkier melody. The thumping of the instrumental is something that will keep pulling me back for more. We also get some 8-bit synths in the backing track that add to the catchy vibe. The sweet vocals fit this tune like butter. The tune is packed with details that all blend for this bouncy playful tune that beat that keeps me wanting to hear this song all over again from the start. The hook keeps getting stuck in my head the more I hear this tune. https://preview.redd.it/w6w0elygzb7f1.jpg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e3dab06579ba8238dacbe159368ca674206c1d2e βββββββββ βββββββ oops! oops! was described as this pop-punk-style tune. I love how slick this tune is keeping the funky vibe from the last tune. I find oops! To is the slickest track the group has released. The hook has this playful vibe that fits perfectly with the smooth vocals and verses. The hook is another catchy moment on the album blending wonderfully with all the other catchy melodies this record delivers. One thing I love about the chorus is the guitar you can hear as it adds to that funky vibe that keeps getting stuck in my head. I will also say it sounds like the members are having so much fun singing along with the instrumental. https://preview.redd.it/r4zcus3kzb7f1.jpg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6a6803dbb18df998bd64a8b9b917f6d7af70368f βββββββββ βββββββ λ°€μν The closing song on the album is the shortest tune coming in a 2 minutes and 19 seconds. The track goes for this dreamy synth-pop sound that works beautifully with the sweet vocals. The closing song isn't as upbeat as the other tunes on the album, but its chill vibe does a great job ending out this album. The hook has this relaxing vibe that is still catchy. The group does a wonderful job delivering their vocals that help to end this album with a bang. I do wish this song was a little longer cause i love the smooth production on it and a few more seconds wouldn't hurt. https://preview.redd.it/pyg6bq7ozb7f1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3088b584b23816137d69264f34fa3d1dbf528b93 ββββββββββββββββ Summary: ILLIT is back with their third mini album one that continues the playful sound that their first two projects brought to the table. It's hard for me to pick a favorite cause each tune is produced wonderfully. The vocals work beat with these bouncy playful beats. I will say ILLIT music knows how to give us choruses that will be stuck in your head for a while. I'm glad the group could return with new music, but I hope the group grows its sound and gives us something new to hear from them. ββββββββββββββββ https://preview.redd.it/3nz326sozb7f1.jpg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=79b8755f7ab22f4757da8fa625ca8dcd79b21786 submitted by /u/Maltifandom23 [link] [comments]
This is a topic that has been on my mind for a while. I am well aware that within the sphere of kpop fandom it seems to be an unspoken rule that if you stan a group and you want to be seen as a 'real fan', you have to like every album they drop, every concept and obviously if you can you also have to buy every single album to show support. Now I do buy albums but I don't buy them for showcase. I buy them because I actually listen to them. When I return from work, the best way for me to calm down is to chill on my couch and just listen to an album on my cd player. This is exactly why I only buy albums that I know I like. I can't justify to myself buying a 20-40 euro album that I know I won't listen to only because of some photocards and the privilege to be seen as a 'real fan'. For example I love bts, I would still consider myself a fan (even though most would call me a 'fake fan') and I own all their albums up to Young forever deluxe edition (or whatever it's called). I didn't buy further albums because I don't listen to their stuff that has been made afterwards, not because I think they have gotten 'bad' but simply because I just don't like their newer stuff/don't listen to it. However, I still keep up to date with them and the fandom. I almost never dare to say this out loud because the Army fandom (what I have seen in the past years) mostly exist of people that became fans somewhere around 2018 or 2019 or even later and you rarely see armys that date all the way back to 2013-2015 - hence they most likely became fans through their newer music and quite often you even find some of them who don't even know any of bts's older albums pre 2018. If I dare to say "Actually I don't listen to their new stuff" I'll get shredded into pieces for being a fake fan. Does anyone of you only listen to certain albums from your ult group or are you the type to like everything they produce? What is your opinion on this? I am looking forward to a kind and interesting conversation :) <3 submitted by /u/gt86xv [link] [comments]
Recently, many K-pop concerts in the West have been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. Possible reasons include low ticket sales, visa issues, or tariffs. However, in Asia, the demand for concerts remains high. Image 1 : There were 750,000 fans on the waitlist for cancelled tickets to Doyoungβs concert. It seems like scalpers are deliberately trying to stop fans from getting cancelled tickets. Image 2 : Blackpink concert in Taiwan 2023, originally priced at NTD8,000 (about USD 300), resold for NTD420 million (about USD 14 million). Yeah, no mistake for the price. Itβs likely these tickets were never sold. Lmao Where there is demand, scalpers will always appear. I don't think there's any real way to stop them completely, when some may even be working with ticketing companies. Some of the anti-scalping solutions I've seen online include: Blocking Chinese IPs : Effective in Asia, as many scalpers reportedly operate from China. But Chinese fans who live in the concertβs host country (eg. Korea) would still be able to buy tickets. Requiring fans to take a fandom quiz before purchasing tickets. The answers can still be shared online. Lottery-style ticketing (like in Japan) This seems to be the fairest method, tickets are distributed randomly. Itβs still possible to create multiple accounts to increase chances. What are your thoughts? Have you ever bought tickets from a reseller? If so, how much were you willing to spend? And what do you think is the best way to stop crazy scalpers? submitted by /u/NatureSimple729 [link] [comments]
you know how some people love to put screenshots of hit tweets with thousands of likes here or making them an indicator of some sort? yeah i wanna talk about this. im not sure whether they are new or dont know yet but kpop has so many gcs (group chats) where they spam their tweets there so the members of the gcs will repost and like to increase engagement. there are also bots from paid likes where they buy engagement for shady ahh sites. numbers on twitters now are inflated, somehow. for example, you see a hit tweet dragging your fav with 40k likes, before sharing that here, i can guarantee you 50% from the gcs, 30% from bots and only around 20% actually matters. thats why you will notice sometimes the tweets have thousands of likes but the commenters dont match the usual ratio, or when they only reply with emoji or something unnecessary. completely bot behavior. you dont have to worry about this at all. hit tweets from antis dragging your faves unprovoked daily wont affect much. when your faves release music, they will thrive as usual. submitted by /u/ataraxia2406 [link] [comments]
