~ Name any Japan idols, that fits into the category ~ it is forbidden to add any members of a completely or almost Japanese group such as Xg, NiziU ~ Please don't post the same idol twice, and instead upvote comments with the idol you'd like ~ After 24 hours the voting is closed and I'll post for the next category ~ Today category: Dancer ~Vocalist: Minami submitted by /u/Ok-Database9509 [link] [comments]
Even though I listen to more bou groups than girl groups, I have never been emotionally attached to a boy group so my standards for god tier is different. God Tier- I listen to all of their albums and love most if not all of their music; they have amazing live performances; they have excellent vocalists Love- I listen to their albums and love most of their music but they lack one of the aspects for my god tier standards Like- I like some of their music Mid- I like some of their music but they also lack in some aspects submitted by /u/threelayersofchinfat [link] [comments]

You probably wouldn't actually do it irl because realistically there would be 7 layers of pressure not letting you and it IS your job that pays your bills, but in a magical universe called "the realm of imagination where there are no consequences" what's a bit whose impact relies on being a famous idol to really hit (Replace "minecraft youtuber" with "kpop idol" in the screenshot bc it is my wholehearted opinion that the culture around them is interchangeable) submitted by /u/SomeRaceHorseName [link] [comments]
I'd like to preface this by saying that I myself have only been in (women-dominated) girl group fandom spaces until I recently delved into MOA spaces, but I don't stan based off of gender. I noticed a LOT even when I was only in girl group fandoms, that an extremely high amount of stan lists would consist of like 5 girl groups "and txt". The phrase "ggs and txt" had become a meme in my head. To an extent, I understood it, TXT (although they've branched off since) have always had a more cutesy, bright, and generally magical reputation. The members are relatively unproblematic and often break stereotypes of toxic masculinity, and are generally just softer people in general. But after being a MOA for a while, I've started to think that it isn't to a crazily different extent than other boy groups. They're still very much men, men who talk about working out, who talk about being masculine, who do indulge in a little fanservice, are messy at home, just generally do "man things", and from what I've seen of other boy groups, they don't saturate their "cute factor" or even enjoy aegyo to a different extent. But (girl) girl group stans, who are known to have pretty strong beliefs in only stanning girl groups, will always make the exception for TXT. But the same thing, as far as I've seen, does not consistently apply to other "bright" boy groups, such as ZB1, BND, some NCT subunits, recent BTS, even Seventeen back in the days. Again, I'm not referring to girls who in general love boy groups and will make pretty content of them. It's specifically girls who stan no other boy group and are adamantly against stanning other boy groups but are very pro-TXT, even often just claiming TXT are a girl group themselves. There's a possibility I'm wrong about this and have only seen this trend in specific spaces, but I'd like to hear thoughts on even more reasonable explanations that may even span further into TXT's debut. And also, if it is simply their concept, why haven't there been other popular boy groups that have adopted this style (considering their closest peer groups are Ateez, Stray Kids, Enhypen)? Also, I'm not considering this a bad thing. It's mostly something I've found funny but have never gotten proper clarification on why. Thanks for kind thoughts in advance. TLDR: gg stans who often refuse to stan bgs make the exception for txt, who aren't too different than other bgs. why? submitted by /u/Embarrassed_Shape_32 [link] [comments]

I see people criticizing everything, and these days, no matter what kind of music a group/idol releases, there will always be someone calling it cringe. If someone releases a romantic song, it's cringe. If they release a song about "love yourself," it's cringe. If they release a song about family, it's cringe. If they release a song with lyrics like "I am this, I am that," it's cringe. What do people expect from songwriters, then? Should they invent scenarios that don't exist in the world to put in their lyrics just to avoid being considered "cringe"? What should music be like to avoid being considered cringe, after all? submitted by /u/VFLOWERAL-MININDay [link] [comments]

If you’re going to a music festival just for a single artist, and you get there hours in advance to hold a prime spot at the main stage, at least try to be open minded and enjoy the other artists. Was at a festival recently where the girl next to me alternated between literally sleeping and playing Pokemon Go until aespa came on. submitted by /u/elitemegamanX [link] [comments]
