Everyone's posting things like 'FAVOURITE K POP IDOL HAIR COLOUR' or 'FAVOURITE MUSIC VIDEO UNTIL 1990'.Don't get me wrong, these games were so fun at the beginning, seeing everyone's opinions and choices. Then everyone is starting to do it, and it gets more and more boring.Like, its not even original anymore, nor fun as the ppl who made them first.(This is jus my opinion, no hate to ppl who posted these type of games'. submitted by /u/Particular-Rain116 [link] [comments]

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

There this girl on instagram who has made some big claims of being related to Changbin through a Dna test and her ''evidence'' is the last name seo being mentioned but seo is a very common korean last name. Even knowing this, she still makes multiple videos saying that she is related. She is a teenager so hopefully she will grow out of it and im also hoping it's satire and not something concerning going on.https://www.instagram.com/p/DEoFXu5ulVX/ submitted by /u/Exam-Critical [link] [comments]

1.336. i really wanna know your insight about line distribution

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

‎i know this is a hot take but in terms of line distribution, should the company listen to what the fans want like make it fair for all the members or let the professionals (pd's) to do their thing ? Looking kpop in general, they are working as a team and each got their "assigned roles" (main vocal, main dancer, rapper, center, maknae) and w/ this, unbalanced lines are expected. ‎But as a fan, we might be overly sensitive on things like this if we thought our faves will definitely do better if given a chance and unfair line distribution doesn't sit well! looking at the other side, pd's might want to gave those parts to who can execute it better? while fairness matters, pd's also think about what's best for the song and the performance as a whole as they are the one who knew the members strength & weaknesses as they are working tgt. hence, they also played favouritism w/c sometimes becomes too obvious whose the member/s company pushing for. It just hurt to think tht some might be pushed aside knowing these idols dedicate years of training and sacrificing their youth and might get one or two lines or sometimes just seconds as kpop songs are getting shorter nowadays (bring back those three minute songs!! 😭😭) . submitted by /u/kpopluv-08 [link] [comments]

1.337. Unique Memorabilia from Lollapalooza?

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

for context bnd = boynextdoor! leehan is one of the members hi guys! i wanted to share a fun story i had at lollapalooza and how i ended up with leehans water bottle..? alright so, i had been at lolla for the past 3 days since i had a 4-day pass, and i was barricade camping the day before for TWICE, (amazing show btw 10/10) but i also wanted to TRY to at least get barricade for bnd. soo i leave my hotel at like 9ish since it was right in front of the park and i hop in the line with my friend who still wasn’t very close (prob like 20th in their row) i knew my odds of barricade were basically non existent since there were two sides of the entrance, so in reality i was like 200th in line
. anyways, at lollapalooza you go through multiple security checkpoints before you enter first checking if you have a wristband scanning your wristband actual security i will admit that i run fast so once i got through the scanning i RAN to security lines and was able to be 10th-ish in my line (fyi: they did this about 20 mins before the actual open time, so we just waited at security for 20 mins) so while we were waiting, im assuming someone on the staff team was miss-informed so they started letting people in 10 mins BEFORE doors were supposed to open
. so about 20-30 people were let in before EVERYONE else which is ridiculous
once that happened, i thought my odds of barricade were basically gone, but still i wanted to be close so once doors actually opened i booked it to lakeshore (bnd stage) and by going through a shortcut (not sharing sorry :sob:) and being a fast runner i went from 0 hope of barricade to being BARRICADE at the VERY FRONT
it was insane how that was even possible anyways, we wait the 4 hours or however long it was and bnd starts performing! amazing show, and towards the end (i think) the boys start splashing the crowd with water. THIS is the important part, at one point leehan and taesan throw their bottles into the audience, but they land in the security area. i was like
is anyone going to try and get those, and after like 30 seconds i was like “fuck it i have nothing to lose anyways” and so i call security over and he hands me water (they pass out water to barricade btw) and i ask him if he can do smth for me, he says “sure” and i ask him to give me the water bottle on the ground in front of us. he looked at me funny but he reluctantly went and grabbed the bottle and gave it to me :sob: he also grabbed the other one and give it to the person next to me (trying to keep our identities secret, sorry) and they FREAK out (yk
because they have taesans water bottle) anyways the set ends and as we walk to katseye we check the bottles (cuz they have names on them) and we realize i have leehans and they have taesans. we bid our farewells and i never saw them again :sob: i hope you’re doing well tho! so yeah.. i have leehans water bottle he drank and splash us with :skull: its on my counter cuz idk what to do with it so if anyone has any suggestions of what to do with it that would be appreciated! this wasn’t meant to flex btw (even tho it rlly isnt a flex having a grown mans water bottle) i just wanted to share my cool experience! also to the saesangs trying to push to the front, no one likes you! submitted by /u/PleasantLet1523 [link] [comments]

1.343. I wish Makestar would do more projects like they used to before/ Is there still a place to support rookie groups/supporting projects like what Makestar used to do?

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

In between building myself a new desk earlier today for whatever reason I started thinking about this and wondered if there was still a better site to support rookie groups/idols instead of just the common ways (Social media, Streaming, promoting them, etc) like what Makestar used to do. Some people appear to know Makestar or get it confused with Mwave (Mwave is underneath MNET who often does signed albums/goods/etc), while from what I remember Makestar did a lot of supporting to drama/OST related projects and merchandise, and considerably nugu groups. Where if I remember correctly, I believe I remember seeing VANNER do promotion/support for their green coloured album (can't think of the name right now...), and I think it was one of the first 'projects' VANNER ever did. They offered benefits and goods to different teirs/ ranks. I've been checking in on Makestar every now and then just to see what's there, and I can't help but realize they've changed a lot to, not only is the website completely different to what I knew but it seems they do more fan calls, meet n greets, limited photocard events and stuff like this. I remember supporting these two other rookie groups who never debuted and one comeback mv got cancelled and we ended up getting refunded, it kinda made me wonder I guess if that's why Makestar kinda changed due to it being so unknown. A project could get funded but sometimes an entire debut or comeback gets scrapped and that's a lot to deal with on its own. I really enjoyed that concept and thought it was really cool. I guess I just wanted confirmation that this isn't only me who remembers it being that way lol, and that it could be a possiblity. I have gotten a couple suggestions in the past but its mostly sites in Korea where its Korea only or very limited translations, and offering goods for people on site. submitted by /u/Responsible-Box2876 [link] [comments]
