Whenever I saw fanwars on Twitter involving someone who used to love a group but later turned into a hater, I always wondered how that could happen. How can someone love a group so deeply and then grow to dislike them? I never thought I would end up in that exact situation myself. I was a huge fan of TXT. I even helped manage some of MOA's main fanbase accounts. I gave and shared everything I could to support their success, my money, skills, time, and emotions, because they were my escape and source of happiness. For me it felt natural... like give and take. But as someone who biases TAEHYUN, supporting the group eventually became painful. I genuinely wanted to enjoy TXT as a whole, just like other MOAs often say we should. But TAEHYUN is PART of the group. I can't enjoy the whole group when 1/5 of it is constantly mistreated and given unfair opportunities. It's hypocritical to expect someone to support the group while turning a blind eye to a member being sidelined. I don’t even know where to begin when listing the things BigHit has done unfairly to TAEHYUN like there's screentime, fewer gigs, barely any solo covers, fewer social media posts, less promotion, and even being left out in their lore. This treatment turned me off. Their lore could have been so much better if each member/character had been given fair attention. They had seven years to make that happen, and they FAILED. That’s why it's no surprise they haven’t lived up to expectations. Because even someone like me, a ride-or-die MOA, has completely given up. I can’t enjoy their content anymore. Every time I watch something, all I can think about is how much of TAEHYUN’s potential is being wasted because of BigHit’s blatant favoritism. And yes, I know some will say it's because #that member is more famous or #this one attracts more fans and money. But maybe that’s exactly the problem. TXT’s management has been unfair from the very beginning. That fame and “success” came at the cost of equity and fairness within the group. How can you expect someone to thrive without even the bare minimum of promotion? And it’s obvious by now that they’re not just neglecting TAEHYUN, they’re sabotaging him. His recent cover is a perfect example. Why did the other members’ covers get teaser posts or at least a notice a day before release, but TAEHYUN’s didn’t? And when it comes to the credits, the others had full teams listed like sound engineers, video directors, and more, while TAEHYUN had none. That only means, just like with his past covers, he likely handled most of the work himself. Don't e en get me started with their styling. I used to love TXT until I realized that TOMORROW X "TOGETHER" couldn’t live up to their name. submitted by /u/Huge-Opinion2658 [link] [comments]
I went to check on a website on who the top followed Kpop insta accounts are. Nothing really surprising there except for Wonyoung having much less than I expected. She is sandwiched between Momo and Soobin in only #46th place with 14,5M followers. (Fun Facts: Her acc is actually 1 year older than Momo's and 2 years older than Soobin's so it can't be time really) For anyone who wants the check the website themselves: Kpop-radar She has been in the industry for a long time, since 2018 with produce and iZone plus IVE's popularity now, winning bonsangs, daesangs, and win after win on music shows. And we all know the popularity of Wonyoung herself, getting brand deal after brand deal to the point where she jokingly gets referred to as the face of Korea. Going viral on socials for the smallest things with her little dance, lucky vicky and the Wonyoung twirl, even outside the Kpop sphere. Given all of that, it seems to me that her follower count is (shockingly) low. Am I the only one surprised by this? What are your thoughts? submitted by /u/nosnese [link] [comments]

All leaders are great, but it's rare for K-pop stans to mention these two leaders. N and Yongguk are both part of the 3rd gen ✨ N's leadership always amazes me. He seems so chill, yet he's such a strong and reliable leader. Meanwhile, there's Yongguk, who might look strict at first but is actually really cool (imo, he gives off a similar vibe to BTS's RM). He's also smart and has great morals 👍 I hope to see more of them on stage. Please show love to both of these amazing leaders 😌 submitted by /u/LazyProfile2945 [link] [comments]

This is a follow up post to something I posted yesterday. Jun Han appears to have issued an apology on both Bubble and IG. What are your thoughts on this? submitted by /u/Lost-Opinion3554 [link] [comments]

There's always something that catches our attention and consequently makes us stan a group, so I'm curious what it was that drew you to your current ults. Was it a certain member, a song, an MV, a concept, something more niche? Share your experience! submitted by /u/ts88kd [link] [comments]
When I'm alone and I'm watching my favorite group I have fun and scream, kick and laugh!! I just love letting loose and just having a great time but when I watch kpop with my mom I just sit there with a straight face and bearly no reaction because I don't want to be annoying or look crazy. ( I also do this so she can focus on the group more than me ) But I really love this group and I sometimes hate keeping all my emotions inside. I'm not crazy or anything I'm just passionate about my favorite kpop group. So I was wondering what are parents thoughts on your daughter fangirling? submitted by /u/Cherriesaresweet [link] [comments]
