Is it true that the primary demographic of K-pop (especially among boy bands like txt) is female? If so why is that the case and are male fans as common submitted by /u/Effective_Cash9085 [link] [comments]
"(I've posted this in another group, I just want to post it here too so I can get more opinions from you guys)" When the talk is about Star quality, 30% of the comments will be about h2h and this is my personal opinion and breakdown on H2H as a Naya/Izna fan. H2H is always dragged down when it comes to discussions about star quality so this is my opinions on h2h members... (I watched some of their contents before this!) Ana - No hate but even though many says she's insanely beautiful I found her to be normal and kinda bland (no hate), she's quite entertaining but not something that would pick off your interest. Juun - I think she's the strongest dancer of them all or maybe even the most talented but being an idol is not only about talent, you also need to build an interesting image and for me she looks cool and gives off ace vibes but overall quite boring to watch (no hate). Yuha - She looks innocent and gives off dreamy vibes and talent wise I love her vocal tone, she is quite entertaining to watch but gets easily overshadowed by most members. Stella - She is a good performer and is very charismatic, her smiles are very cute and she's very aesthetic, almost gives of Illit Moka vibes and talent wise she's good in dancing and singing and also has good stage presence, she's very enjoyable to watch. Jiwoo - Her visuals are insane almost like AI, I find myself always looking at her when they perform, she doesn't have that insanely high stage presence but her beauty and execution of dance moves is enough to catch your interest, she's very smooth on dancing and very satisfying to watch. Ian - Personally I think she has strongest stage presence of them all and when she's in the center of a formation, it almost looks like she's a soloist, also very good facial expressions almost like second Tsuki from billlie, she also as a very interesting personality and overall a very interesting person, she's the one I personally enjoyed the most watching and will probably be my bias wrecker if I stan H2H. Yeon - No hate but it's almost that she doesn't exist in the group, she has the lowest fans and also not that interesting to watch, she's the maknae and she's literally so young so there's no point in hating her (don't hate her), but I think she needs to start improving (I'm not saying she's not talented), it's just that h2h has many members and it is very easy to be overshadowed by other members and for me I think she gets overshadowed by all. Carmen - Insanely strong fandom and is the most popular member in Indonesia (of course she's indonesian) same as Gehlee Dangca that has a very strong Filipino fandom. Carmen brings uniqueness in the group and she's also entertaining (very goofy), can't say anything else she looks very cute though, and she looks like Yoona. https://www.thebell.co.kr/free/content/ArticleView.asp?key=202508291318056320105621 Translate the relevant part with chatgpt Recently, THEBLACKLABEL has been rapidly expanding in the K-pop market — with continuous new artist signings, the opening of an official MD store, and the launch of a rookie co-ed group, All Day Project, in June of this year. However, this growth has also led to quickly deteriorating financial stability. Costs for securing intellectual property and marketing new groups have weighed heavily; in the first half of this year alone, the company posted a net loss of approximately US$12 million (₩156B KRW). Alongside investment expansion, declining profitability has driven up debt. As of the end of June: -Total liabilities stood at about US$67 million (₩876B KRW), more than double the US$33 million (₩426B KRW) recorded at the end of 2024. -Total equity was in the red at around –US$154,000 (–₩200B KRW), placing the company in a state of full equity erosion. These figures suggest a pressing need to stabilize the financial structure via capital infusion. Even if not through an IPO, some form of fundraising appears highly likely. All Day Project are should not be burning money that fast. KDH also didn't help as much you think. TBL are expanding too fast without a consistent cash flow group to fund it. I think Teddy taking TBL out of YG was a mistake. submitted by /u/diplomat_extreme [link] [comments]

When it comes to military service, it’s always the bg stans that suffer. There is always heartbreak and grief whenever it gets announced that a member is off to serve in the military. However, girl group stans don’t need to worry about this and can just keep supporting them forever as I don’t think women are required to serve (more of an optional thing). Military service is basically nonexistent to them submitted by /u/Effective_Cash9085 [link] [comments]
This post stems from the hate that cortis is getting from their debut. I really enjoyed the album. The raps were well put together and the boys are really talented. But I see a lot of people hating on the boys and calling it copying of Playboy Carti and Travis Scott. Or saying they are copying SKZ. But in reality this album is literally Atlanta/southern trap. That’s what the inspiration is. And from experience kpop fans don’t like rap. For a lot of them kpop is their only source of rap music. And cortis is the closest to that and that’s why they are getting hate. For the first time a group is doing it in a way that isn’t cultural appropriation and they are getting hate for it. A self produced album with all black producers and writers. That’s all we’ve been asking for. submitted by /u/MiniJ1021 [link] [comments]
considering they literally overtook bts and blackpink, i dont think its something the industry can just ignore. u could argue that it might be a one time thing, but it shows that there’s a potential market for animated, fictional kpop idols. i feel like in today’s digitalised age, where people would exist more online than offline, this possibility isnt even that far of a reach. i can totally see it happening in future. and its not something foreign as well, the Japanese idol mascot miku is well loved internationally. there’s also a whole community and economy built around vtubers, the closest thing to virtual personalities. if companies were to debut virtual kpop idols, not only would that cut a LOT of cost, it could be potentially successful too. ofc, i dont think this is possible any time soon, but i can totally see it becoming true. and honestly ? i dont really like it. something about the world becoming way too digitalised bugs me submitted by /u/Snoo17824 [link] [comments]

I liked it a lot, what saddens me is that I feel that it has too much Western influence, especially American, other than that, I loved it, especially 'Lullaby'. What do you think? submitted by /u/WishingYouTheBest121 [link] [comments]
