I find that people rarely bring this up, but I’m kind of curious about this issue. It comes down to the idols’ daily routine. As the title of the post stated, is mouthwash considered part of the idols cosmetics? especially for female idols. I saw a couple of videos of them eating backstage, they were eating foods such as noodles, rice balls, and sushi, and I came across comments saying that some of them ate before their performances. So right after they finish their snacks, do they do anything to freshen up before they go on stage, or they just simply proceed without doing so. Since they will be singing into the microphone, it is likely that, once they have finished, the microphone will be passed to the next performing idols, I don't know if this will cause an issue. Also, It may not be limited to performances only. During other activities too such as meet and greet, events, variety shows etc where the idols talk and interact with people or fans, I wonder whether the use of mouthwash is also part of their regular preparatory routine that they bring everywhere. I suspect it is maybe their common routine as the companies will push hard for their idols to look as flawless as possible, but I don’t really know for sure yet. The second thing is, the teleprompter issue. As we all know, being an idol can be challenging, you have to sing and dance at the same time and you have to do it perfectly, and it's not impossible that the idols could messes up the lyrics. I’m not aware of this yet, but I’m curious if the use of a teleprompter is common in K-pop? if it's not, then from the audience pov, I personally don't mind the used of it on stage, I think it's better than the idols butchering every song, and if it could maintain or even improve their performances, I guess why not? submitted by /u/Gullible-Distance594 [link] [comments]

I can't believe I found a group who's really naturally refreshing just now HAHAHA. They only got some members from SMTR25; the thai ones Tata, Kachin and then the japanese Kassho and the korean-russian Daniel to feature on this kind of short variety show called WOW. Episodes are posted on smtown friends yt account. It's really such a feel good watch because all of them are pretty clueless and new to cameras. Tata is soo cute! The guy doesn't even need to try. His mannerisms and speaking voice lights up the room. Somehow, he looks prettier in motion too than in pictures. The "second lead on novels" kind of face. Daniel is just caring like naturally caring. And I like how he always smiles. He kind of leads them when they don't know the korean for something but also don't take away their spotlight. He just seem genuinely kind. Kachin is honest like whenever he speaks and the way his face reacts, you just know he has nothing to hide! Plus he's such a visual too. Kassho is prolly the textbook handsome kind. Like very boy next door or the basketball player people cheer for. His calm nature is a good addition to the show. What I like about them is how sincere they act and how natural their bond is. Not too close but understands each other. They genuinely seem like nice guys. My bias is Hamin but maybe I'll add Tata too lol. submitted by /u/maashpotatoo [link] [comments]
