┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ Hey everyone, today, Twice member Chaeyoung debuts with her first solo album, one that she helped co-write and co-produce. I’m curious to see what her solo album will sound like and how different it will be from the rest of the solo albums from Twice we've got. I have a feeling that Chaeyoung will deliver something that will be different and fitting for her style. Now, let’s jump into the record and see what the singer has to bring to the table with her first studio album. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ https://preview.redd.it/0e0kmiwd1sof1.jpg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=31d5916ef555df8fb4e4ca129f9189183e589c7e LIL FANTASY vol.1 - Chaeyoung AVOCADO (feat. Gliiico) The opening song on the album is a collaboration with a three-member band from Tokyo. The track has this indie-pop vibe that works well with the vocals from Chae. The guitar and percussion help craft this indie vibe that I find perfect for Chae. Chae goes for this soft vocal delivery that fits the laidback vibe that the instrumental brings to the table. I love the relaxing feeling this song provides as it opens up the album in an interesting way, getting me curious to see what’s next. Chae puts on a chill performance that blends wonderfully with the overall vibe the producers crafted. https://preview.redd.it/dbo4iski1sof1.jpg?width=3045&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eadc910578477e45683c1035945100586f44c3e8 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ BAND-AID The second song on the album comes in with an Indie-R&B vibe with the slick guitar that fits her whisper like singing. I love the smooth nature this tune delivers as it’s been pulling me back for more since I heard it this morning. The instrumental has a bit of a funky vibe to it, which fits the singer’s performance. The hook has been growing on me with each listen that I’ve given this tune. BAND-AID still keeps that chill vibe from the opening song, but I’m still enjoying the momentum this tune has. https://preview.redd.it/txuorsgm1sof1.jpg?width=194&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ca0a4b634047686be084a6437148e7814f08f26b ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ SHOOT (Firecracker) The title track for this album picks up the tempo, going for a funky-pop vibe this time around. I loved the way Chae fitted with the instrumental from the piano to the guitar to even the synths that craft the funky vibe. The funky-pop vibe or even disco sound still keeps that chill nature in a bit of an upbeat way. The hook is something that will be stuck in your head since the melody is a catchy one. I’ve definitely had this one stuck in my head since the first time I heard it. I’m glad they picked this one as the title track cause it’s the most title track worthy song on the whole album. https://preview.redd.it/ilop3fiq1sof1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2175146df52fc9d94f12a954d005cd4a755343a3 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ 4. Girl Girl is the fourth song on the album, bringing in a thumping vibe with the guitar and percussion. The chill vocals from Chae fit in a smooth direction as she glides across the instrumental. We still get a relaxing nature with a bit of an upbeat tempo. Chae’s performance is smooth, blending perfectly with the melody the producers crafted. It did take me a couple of listens for this tune to grow on me, cause I needed more time with it. The more I hear this tune, the more I fall in love with the vibe and the thumping nature it delivers. https://preview.redd.it/kr42zxfu1sof1.jpg?width=900&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bbd0a24c32fc2aea689515d9b24f94f3c23ce35b ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ RIBBON (feat. SUMIN & Jibin) Chae teams up with Sumin and Jibin for the fifth song on the album, which might be the weirdest track on the project. The instrumental sounds a little bit cluttered, but I still think it works with the performances. Chae’s voice blends with the thumping bass and percussion that move the song forward. The vocals from Sumin have lots of vocal effects on them, making her sound like a robot at times. I do like the way Sumin adds her vibe to the mix, blending with the vibe Chae brings to the table. I find this collaboration to be a weird one, but one that adds to the album and one I’ll be listening to a lot. https://preview.redd.it/ipk6vf4y1sof1.jpg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d235c2f591161941039bc19c34a80c3ca728acc2 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ DOWNPOUR The first short song on the album, coming in at 1:49 seconds, sees Chae teaming up with KAI. One thing I noticed is that Chae’s vocal performance reminds me of the artist Yaeji, whose music I like a couple of tunes. The instrumental has a slick vibe to it, feeling like something Yaeji could put on her album. Even though this track is short and feels like it comes and goes, it still works. I wasn’t overly impressed with the tune during my first listen, but the more I hear it, the more it’s starting to click with me. https://preview.redd.it/0bsz0ba22sof1.jpg?width=2560&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=190447e75c6ab5ed9b00a2b9149458b771d78ffb ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ 7. BF BF is the second shortest song on the album, coming in at 1:32 seconds. The track goes for this drum machine indie-pop vibe that sounds like someone made it in their bedroom. The smooth vocals from Chae are smooth as she fits with the vibe. I also find that BF sounds like a demo version of a track that she didn’t finish, but it still fits with the vibe of the album that the singer delivered. https://preview.redd.it/alb7n4362sof1.jpg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b6f67f2fef5b2b6cf410656f898d171d8a481d9 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ 그림자놀이 Synths and music box effect come into the mix, blending with the vocals from the singer that work with the thumping vibe. The vocals sound like they go in and out to create this vocal effect. I find the instrumental second with the drum and bass effect interesting. I feel like this tune is more instrumental than singing, but that’s not something I’m upset about because it still works for the singer. https://preview.redd.it/x1lw403a2sof1.jpg?width=2000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5150a6034af4eaf1a4158e14a89c6a551d2e0216 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ 9. 내 기타 The closing song on the album is going to be my bedtime track, as it has a chill vibe that fits the singer and closes out the album perfectly. I love the acoustic nature of this tune as Chae makes this track sound like a lullaby. I’ve been listening to this tune like crazy cause it works wonderfully as a closer and one that might be my overall favorite on the record. I’m glad she picked this tune as the closer. https://preview.redd.it/8xchgquc2sof1.jpg?width=700&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=61dc25dc24a380ef182d8109c3c4721442bb8f13 ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ Summary: Chaeyoung released her first solo album, which goes in an indie/experimental direction. I find that Chae had a vision for her album, and she executed it perfectly. I still think this album will grow on me the more I hear it, cause it’s the most different-sounding solo album from a Twice member. I’m also curious if she has more songs to release a second project that dives deeper into that Indie/experimental sound for the singer. I’m glad Chae went solo, and I’ll see if I continue to listen to the album or not. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ https://preview.redd.it/sebf9gnk2sof1.jpg?width=273&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3b7e0d844c181aa1c69f6cd53dc4d32d8c766bc5 submitted by /u/Maltifandom23 [link] [comments]
Day One over and done with, you guys were screaming out for your favourites, but consensus won the day and Red Velvet's Wendy is our Main Vocal! Day 2 is Leader time, from the votes on Day 1I think I know who we'll likely end with, but I'll leave it to you to do your stuff. Also bonus challenge: Suggest a name for the group with your vote! Time to choose our group's Leader! submitted by /u/ginginbonbon [link] [comments]
their GMA performance happened to pop up on my timeline so naturally i stopped and watched it and all i can say is… their center/division team clearly didn’t learn with what went on in 2022 and im talking for their benefit because it can’t keep on happening again and again they’re lucky it isn’t 2022 anymore where the hate isn’t as intense and they have a bigger fanbase but again the fact that history repeats itself makes me upset for them cus we know they have a better potential so i hope they’re seeing some VALID criticism whoever is their performance director NEEDS TO STOP GIVING THEM CHOREOGRAPHY WHICH HEAVILY RELIES ON CAMERAWORK AND BACKUP DANCERS 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 it was already bad enough when the ppl were hating on their choreo and that’s when the backup dancers were included but now the with the GMA performance it sucks even more without them and im sorry but they looked goofy as fuck doing the choreo also a little bit off topic but seeing the spotify streams shows that not a lot of people enjoyed the song and it actually reflected rather than it being just all talk, now obviously a million streams is more than good but when you compare it to their previous cbs you can see a bit of a decline to sum it up: their team needs to sit down and talk about their 2026 plans for their betterment otherwise (and GOD FORBID) we will slowly see them falling in the sm gg basement trap submitted by /u/Free-Application860 [link] [comments]
I was craving this eerie and dramatic vibe from him so bad!! 😩🔥 Gotta love when bro makes songs that feel like the world is ending or something. Also, funny how at the same time, FINALE sounds so peaceful and relaxing lol. Wish they did an MV too, but both songs are just so damn good that I can't really complain about anything xD Hope we get to see him perform it live soon. submitted by /u/beelzebub2099 [link] [comments]
Edit: walls* I have only really been buying albums for 2 or 3 months, and I'm waiting for like 13 albums so this will look wildly different when those arrive, but I want people's opinions on how it looks so far. submitted by /u/EpicUserName00 [link] [comments]
It's live from radio and raw without someone change any sound from the original video But credit to the mic for capturing his vocal so clearly. Even Baekhyun was surprised of how great the mic was. submitted by /u/Personal_Damage6616 [link] [comments]
I recently discovered XLOV, and when I first heard their song 1&only, I was SHOCKED that it wasn't more popular. That was until I watched the music video. The music video blew me away, the dancing, the music production, the visuals, the VOCALS. They really stood out to me. But, given that they are a more androgynous group I felt bad seeing the criticism they were receiving. I've seen lots of homophobia specifically from international/western fans which did surprise me at first despite their fanbase being mostly from western fans (at least I think so?) But I was curious on how K-netizens or even Japanese fanbases perceived them? or if they even have a fan base there at all. I really want to see them grow, but I also feel like their concepts unfortunately will hold them back because people from various fan bases are quite conservative and close minded, but given that they ARE under a South Korean company, I can't help but wonder. They also kind of give me V-Kei vibes (LOVE), which is why I was also wondering if they have any type of prevalent fanbase in Japan as well! lmk what you guys think.^ submitted by /u/Illustrious-Street83 [link] [comments]
This month marks my one year anniversary of getting into K-Pop! I made a deal with myself to listen to every single K-Pop release (yes, including the b-sides) this year! It has been a fun and tiring journey! Dont feel scared to get crazy with the questions! submitted by /u/SnooOranges829 [link] [comments]

WM Entertainment CEO Lee Wonmin has stepped down from his position after 17 years. It's reported that their parent company, RBW, fired CEO Lee in early August. His sudden dismissal reportedly caused significant internal chaos with key executives leaving the company one after another. After Lee's dismissal, RBW co-CEO, KimJinWook, took over as his successor. submitted by /u/MasterHospital [link] [comments]
So many solo stans acting like Jung Kook is the only Calvin Klein global ambassador. They need to get their heads out of their asses and accept the fact that Calvin Klein has a plethora of global ambassadors and a plethora of models that they use. They act like Calvin Klein revolves around Jung Kook. Harsh reality kids, but no they don’t. They did just fine for the 18 months he was in military and they’ll do just fine whenever they stop their deal. I’m all for supporting Jung Kook and understand the excitement of him attending the Calvin Klein show, but it’s completely asinine, delusional & disrespectful to erase all the other global ambassadors that work for Calvin Klein - Calvin Klein has never put all its eggs in one basket. Some fans level of ignorance and arrogance is astounding. And as typical, they’re a bunch of hypocritical idiots who make false claims about respecting Jung Kook’s privacy but then share stalker videos of him arriving in NYC. STFU. submitted by /u/redstarseven [link] [comments]
When I describe someone who is feminine and elegant but still has that warm and approachable vibe, who do you think of? I can name a few korean actresses, but I can't name any idols who have this vibe. Think Bae Suzy and Lee Sungkyung. For me, both actresses are drop-dead gorgeous. They have that elegant vibe to them, but they're still approachable (imo). They can pull off feminine and elegant styling, but they still seem warm and approachable to me. Kind of a girl-next-door vibe. Are there any idols who come to mind with this description? submitted by /u/Shoddy_Pay4557 [link] [comments]

This started as a kpophelp because my main question is "How does Kpop twitter work?" but it got kinda fleshed out and may be more of a discussion topic. This is a pretty open-ended question, just share / dump your opinions. Reddit is mostly based on subs/mods formula whereas Twitter is no mods, but yes follows, and more extensive use of blocks. It's why blocks always feel weird on Reddit, because most of the work is done by subs, but I guess you have to block left and right on Twitter since there's no other helper effect. Discord is growing to rival reddit more I guess? But they're harder to advertise than reddits, slightly more secretive / less bot crawled. Still highly moderated like reddits. Twitter is the main kpop forum to my knowledge. Despite some U.S. people's best hopes, there was basically zero kpop migration to Bluesky. And likewise, I hate to ask this, but does a certain rightwing bias that permeated twitter post-2020s happen on kpop twitter too? Do you tend to follow main accounts or influencer-types (say 10k+ follows)? On reddit I'm mostly reading opinions by other redditors, so I wonder how that translates on Twitter Is there anything like a kpop scene on YT or Tiktok? It could be cool, I mean, I mostly follow kpop on youtube, why not discuss there. Are there any kpop substacks LOL On the fandom war / hate topics How do people hate you on twitter? Like if you're wrong / super out of the mainstream on reddit you mainly get downvoted and maybe banned depending on what you did and the sub. I've heard Twitter is more, uh, dox prone. Fan wars and group feuds -- how do those work? like does some groupA stan pop over on groupB's twitter and trash talk them? or do you start some novel anti-groupB account and start posting to it? When rumors get steam or hate trains form how do they originate and get steam? Like okay some anti- group-I-stan talking points on Reddit almost feel like they've germinated over time. "I went to their concert, here are the things they did wrong which are the same as in someone else's previous post." Are these planned at some secret anti meeting or something lol submitted by /u/abyssazaur [link] [comments]

This song is so... I shake my head in disappointment anytime I'm reminded that they didn't make this song a little longer and make it one of their comeback songs. Like do y'all hear the beat?? submitted by /u/Due_Improvement_5699 [link] [comments]
