Ew trump. I do not support any misogynistic, white nationalist, incel, hitler-like (esp. Musk), racists at all and neither does this sub and apparently neither does reddit as a site as a whole. He stands against everything Kpop stands for which is an art form from a formerly colonized people from a country that is rising up against colonialism and hatred. Anyone who comments anything negative to this, or tries to defend that orange guy will be banned permanently. Go somewhere else, we don't want your lower kind here. Hey folks! Over in r/kpop we just posted a new special Town Hall that is focused only on the Flairs we use to help organize our posts based on content categories. Link to r/kpop's 'All About Flairs' Town Hall We included announcements for new flairs here on r/kpoppers and also on r/kpophelp. The following is the section relevant for this subreddit. NEW FLAIRS! Connect - This flair will be used for anything where fans are trying to socially connect with each other. Announcing new K-Pop subreddits or Discords, looking for mutual fans on social media, wanting to meet up at a concert, seeking fans in a region to form a dance group, networking for a fan project, announcing a K-Pop night at a club, etc. Research - Academic surveys related to K-Pop or fandom topics. The times you were battling loneliness, emptiness and just a really low point in your life, what moment in the Kpop community really showed up for you and made a change in your life? Who do you think about to this day that has helped you immensely when you were in a dark place? submitted by /u/Which_Mammoth9402 [link] [comments]
Just look at his eyes... lol. I feel like if he does romcom, it will definitely sell out. Who else in kpop do you think has flirty or romantic eyes? If it makes any sense😭 Those kpop stars that make you want to see them in romantic dramas or movies. I like D.O.'s sincere eyes too like he's always looking from afar but I wouldn't call it romantic. It's more serene and lonely even sometimes. submitted by /u/ParfaitSoggy4629 [link] [comments]

I had the thought to make this post after watching NCT’s Jaehee absolutely kill it on his episode of Lee Mujin Service. Attached is a clip of his Mirotic cover from the ep and I swear he was possessed by Changmin himself. Jaehee also sang this song for Changmin during the NCT survival show LASTART and the man was thoroughly impressed. While there are so many male idols with amazing voices (Sohee my love) there’s no doubt in my mind that Jaehee is the top vocalist (at least as of right now) among the 5th gen male idols, and I feel like he’s often left out of discussions regarding them. I just wanted to take the time to give Jaehee his rightfully deserved flowers! What do you think? Do you agree? Disagree? If so who would be your pick? submitted by /u/bellahadidofficial [link] [comments]
I recently heard J Hope's Killin It Girl for the first time. And the featured verse sounded so out of place (badly mixed, off beat and the girl was simply a bad rapper). It got me wondering what other bad featured verses we have had in K Pop. Some notable ones i thought of Eric in Stellar's Rocket Girl Dok2 in Hyunah's Just Follow submitted by /u/LongLostFan [link] [comments]
Feel free to join the conversation even if you’re a new kpop fan but i wanted to hear from those who were into Kpop at least before 2015. Mainly because Bigbang’s prime was wayyyy before that and the last time they dropped an album was 2016. So i’m looking for opinions from those who were actively there during their prime rather than after! submitted by /u/Which_Mammoth9402 [link] [comments]

Groups that debuted around 2011ish - 2013 was so confusing to me. All these years i’ve considered groups like AOA, Apink, Exid, Winner, BTOB, NU’EST, etc to be 2nd gen. At least late 2nd gen. literally only about 2 years ago I saw kpop stans saying that they’re 3rd gen and my mind was just boggled. I think I saw ppl talk about this on tiktok a couple weeks ago and I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who thought that. Like it is so hard for me to see these groups in the same generation as BTS, Twice, RV, BP, SVT, GOT7, etc. I mean I used to see kpop stans them in 2nd gen nostalgia too so I wonder if this changes as time passes? Because people did the same for early 4th gen groups as well. Like pre quarantine Loona, Dreamcatcher, NCT, SKZ, G-idle, etc was all classified as 3rd gen and it wasn’t until like 2022 people said that they were 4th gen and my mind couldn’t accept it. Do they just become more definite as the years pass? submitted by /u/Academic_Essay5942 [link] [comments]
