The saddest thing about liking kpop and stanning groups (especially from the start), is seeing the members gradually become jaded as the years go by, the childlike gleam in their eyes and zest for life gradually diminishing as they grow older, because of drama or sasaeng 'fans' or problems with the company etc. It's something that has happened with quite a few groups I'm a fan of. I won't name names but as I rewatched older content from one of them i couldn't help but feel saddened by the clear difference in their personality back then compared to now. Yeah of course they're still the same guys I know and love, but it was kinda sobering seeing how vivid and joyful they used to be when they first started out. submitted by /u/fixonmars [link] [comments]
They are rumoured to sign with Ye‘s new agency. He‘s currently working on opening a new YZY shop in Japan and the Korea concert on 07/26/2025 probably isn‘t a coincidence. There is already some data with the ® 2025 YZY trademark attached to it. submitted by /u/Physical_End_537 [link] [comments]

so txt just announce their new tour starting in august, while i would’ve preferred they take a break, this is something they’ve already mentioned throughout the year so it was expected. however, as much as i love txt and theyre one of my ults, i do have some concerns coming with this new tour. specifically with production. everyone knows by now that big hit gets pretty cheap when it comes to txt’s tours, specifically when they perform out here in the states. aside from raising the ticket cost each time, they always find ways to cut corners with the actual concerts. for example, last tour with act promise, they’re korean concerts had some of the biggest production txt ever had, i’m talking massive screens, giant stage with multiple catwalks, a stage that raises and lowers, props, back up dancers, etc. this is the norm for their korean and occasionally japan concerts. however whenever they perform everywhere else, that level of production is nowhere to be found. now i do understand venues come with their own restrictions so not every show will get that level of production. however there’s still ways they can innovate, especially for how much they wanna charge. backup dancers are another thing as well. for the past few times big hit has sent txt to the US, they have never sent them with dancers. while the boys have been able to fill the stage on their own, i feel like dancers just elevate the whole performance. here’s more of a me thing but I would also just love it if they gave txt a live band as well. personally, a show with live arrangements elevates the show to a completely new level but at this point i’m just wishing on stars. thing is though, that company has proven they can give txt better with their overseas shows, when it comes to festivals, they have sent them with live band and dancers. i know festivals and concerts aren’t the same things but knowing big hit actively chooses to not give their tours equal levels of production, it just sucks. anyways that’s it. any thoughts? lmao submitted by /u/Outrageous-Ad7806 [link] [comments]
I recently saw a TikTok breaking down the outfit prices for Katseye’s new single "Gaberiela" (and before anyone comes for me Ik they’re not K-pop but, most Eyekons are K-pop stans). All the members were styled in expensive outfits, except Manon, who wore a dress from Zara (I think it was around $80?). My first reaction was honestly, “Wow, a stage outfit I could actually afford 😂!" But then I saw the comments and a lot of people were upset, saying the stylists were being unfair to her. And like I get where they’re coming from, but I don’t think one less expensive outfit automatically means mistreatment. This reminds me of when Sunghoon got his eyebrows done and some engenes dragged Be:lift, thinking it was the company’s fault, but it turned out he actually wanted them that way himself. Sometimes fans jump to conclusions without all the context. submitted by /u/Due-Design-3484 [link] [comments]

As someone with a monotone voice who is looking to sing, it would help to feel less 'alone' about how I sound and realising that being monotone isn't a block for being able to sing submitted by /u/CrimsonBlade2018 [link] [comments]

the reel was clearly talking about those kpop stans who stan all groups except bts and take pride in this, yk the ones who think they’re different and better for not liking bts and even if they’re not referring to such kpop stans, the reel is still fine from an army’s pov it’s funny how some non-army kpop stans got offended by this 😭😭 submitted by /u/flwrbts [link] [comments]

Yes, this is like four years late and no one probably cares anymore, blah blah blah. But I still see hate videos and posts about her that, in my opinion, are totally undeserved. For anyone who doesn’t know who Seo Shin Ae is: she’s a Korean actress and one of the people who accused Soojin (former (G)I-DLE member) of bullying. Many people claimed she lied and even said that she later confessed Soojin didn’t bully her, but that’s not true. Seo Shin Ae never changed her stance. Some also argue that she never even spoke to Soojin, but Shin Ae clarified that they never exchanged words. Instead, Soojin would insult her, and Shin Ae simply didn’t respond or talk back. Yes, there were people who lied about being bullied by Soojin, but Seo Shin Ae wasn’t one of them. Many people also say that Soojin was found innocent by the court, but that wasn’t regarding to the Seo Shin Ae situation. The court never ruled Soojin innocent in this specific case involving Seo Shin Ae. It simply said there wasn’t enough evidence to prove it either way. (The bullying was verbal insults made 10 years ago) That’s not the same as being cleared. And honestly, it’s wild how twisted the situation has become. This kind of thing happens all the time when an idol gets caught in a scandal. At first, they get hate, are removed from their group, or face consequences for their behavior. But then their fans start rewriting the story to make the idol seem like the real victim and get people to empathize with them. I don’t have a vendetta against Soojin, she was in middle school, after all, and the alleged insults were reportedly rooted in jealousy. There was nothing physical involved. But we should still acknowledge the false narratives being pushed by some of her fans. Especially after Idle has been getting massive hate for re-recording their songs recently. submitted by /u/Ok-Firefighter8531 [link] [comments]

So I made a post about it and it got downvoted immediately. The people who are salty that EXO is still relevant even after being inactive for years are so EMBARRASSING. If this gets downvoted again then it will just prove how much people are jealous of EXO. And that dude in hawaii printed t-shirt is still similar to Kai in Kokobop era like it or not. Whatever y'all think I'm so proud of EXO for creating music which stays relevant for years to come!! submitted by /u/bamgeut13 [link] [comments]
